Spallina gap has closed dramatically. Difference between jamelli, lomo and spallina is marginal. Results should bear that out over the next week. Save the gibberish until after this weekend, then have at it with the supporting data. Web cheerleading, posturing and sideline histrionics by crazed parents is irrelevant and useless other than giving long island a bad reputation due to your behavior (thanks Jamulli parents for showing your color this weekend, easy to pretend to be classy when you're winning).

were you you even there? they seemed like the nicest kids at the event by many accounts. can’t speak to their parents but typically there is some correlation

Uh oh, if the gap is really closing, the whole YJ - A team model starts to fall apart. Don’t the B, C, D teams exist really just to prop up the A team?

Coach Blue can beat both those teams by as many goals as he feels like, last weekend was their spring training, everyone else is in mid season form. Lomo hasn't been able to keep up with Janelli at all in the last year, there's a big gap there currently.

Reflexive property states if Janelli beat hero's and hero's beat Blue, then ????

Let's hope we see it this week somewhere or another. And I think the YJ Amway model is working just fine, just ask the Queen. Cheers to a fifth and sixth 2025 YJ team for next year!

Can't fault the Queen Bee - have 10 teams, if you are going to have parents wanting to pay the $3k fee each year.

If this type of behavior doesn’t happen between teams it happens on teams. In the 2023 age group the parents got sick of it and left.

Team Blue did take elevates goalie the day before the tournament after trying to get some others to join the sinking ship

There are some crazed parents on each of the top 3 yj teams, and plenty of quiet under the radar nice parents too. It would be nice to group all of the crazy parents together on one team-I'm sure each team could come up with a consensus of five that bring the team and mood down, not up. "It's the ref's; it's the coaches; it's the bracket (too high or too low); she should play more; she should play less; she is a scorer not a defender;" It's about your daughter, not you. Park your ego and in the porta potty. No one cares where you played a quarter century ago. Ask yourself this, if your daughter makes a bad play who's reaction is more negative-in words, body language or tone-you or the coaches? If it's the coaches, then look for greener pastures; if it is you, and IT IS, STFU. You are painful.

Great tournament, venue, format and competition. Congrats Spallina and Steps Blue.

Not only that he had the owner roster one of Janelli’s goalies the night before Nationals behind everyone’s backs . Biggest person move ever .

A 1 goal game decided at the end by save made by an ineligible player to seal or should I say steal it. Would the outcome have been different if US lacrosse enforced their rostering rules and didn’t allow you to add a goalie from a rival club to your roster days before this event? Giving you 3 goalies!!! Lesson to all you winning parents, you can be replaced that easily when there’s an upgrade available...... no tryout, no team practice, just show up and start for us..... I can’t believe US Lacrosse is ok with it? Where’s their integrity? Should make for an interesting mid Atlantic...

Team King took another teams goalie the day before nationals? And won. What was the deadline for rosters

i know most of you view this as a negative , but I respect a guy who will do whatever it takes to win with no regard for mediocre kids and families he’s had to put up with for years or what most of you perceive as general human decency for that matter. the world is a hard cold place best learn it early. his daughter is lucky she’s the best 2025 in the country as she gets the same treatment as everyone else with no special privileges

better enjoy that ribbon because she wasn’t even his first choice, at least he’s a very loyal guy and will take care of her

seems like a nice kid and likely the second best goalie by a long shot but it couldn’t wait until tryouts

So the goalie he used was from the rivals B team. Yes, B team. So they are not a rival team. And it shows how much of a talent evaluator DK is.

He first attempted to take one of Janelli’s goalies . They rostered her first then asked . Then when they declined he attempted to strong arm them . This was done late Sunday night after G8 .

Is that common practice? Legal move? Poaching young girls?
