Dear MDU parent who felt the need to air the teams dirty laundry. Not sure why it’s anyone’s business as to why people leave clubs. People should really know the facts before they tell bold face lies about other families. This is probably the parent of the kid who was mentioned earlier as thinking they are the whole team. A new coach will not help unless you learn to work as team and not ball hog, cause turnovers, and stink at the draws. The poor LBC girl wasn’t given the opportunity to do the draws and if she had the same amount of time as your kid or anyone for that matter, it would have gotten better and not worse.

Chance for Integrity? Where have they been this summer? Integrity struggles a lot and the 2025 team is no exception. I’d stay as far away as possible from Integrity. Lots of internal issues going on with parent politics and coaches not showing up to scheduled practices. My daughter left last year and from what I have heard from other parents, it’s only gotten worse since than. Better to consider heading to Hero’s, M&D, TLC or Skywalkers.

Definitely stay away from MDU! Definitely stay away from MDU! Ha sounds like they got rid of the problem parents, of course the above would be exactly what the problem parent would post to a message board, wouldn’t it?

You should question the shady roster additions Spallina made yesterday.

Definitely stay away from MDU! MDU is a very well run club. They are consistent and they do what they promise you. You can't let a few bad apples spoil the bunch. Parents included.

Not sure why the MDU parent felt the need to raise their hand like they're in class 👋👋👋👋 to volunteer all sorts of details. They seem to have very intricate knowledge about this team. Regardless if the information is true or not. Were they there when these events took place? Do they have first-hand knowledge about every player that left? The common theme on this thread is that the problem is that family/player mentioned above. The only way that will change is with coaching. Sounds like that family probably wanted those girls to leave so their kid could get more playing time. Might want to let them know M&D and Hero's tryouts are happening now.

That's your takeaway? LOL. Sounds more like a club director actually backs her coach up and won't tolerate abusive parents despite the talent of the daughter. IT would be nice if all clubs took this approach. If anything, there are a few spots now available on the currently ranked 19th national team. If anything, you should be looking at getting your kid to that tryout. Granted if you think your kid can get PT at Hero's Green or M&D, by all mind, go to those tryouts too.

MDU is losing players left and right!! Its probably for the best!! Players are leaving before the end of the season and before tryouts? Why would they do that? Whats the story? MD United Parent here. - One obnoxious Dad who berated the Coach in Pa got his daughter kicked off. Poor girl was crying and wanted to stay. Good for Club Dir to finally kick the Dad off team. Been kicked out of two games already last season. Dad had daughter kicked off of previous club teams on Eastern Shore before. - One Dad who thinks his daughter (former LBC) is the best draw girls on the team (stats prove otherwise) and yelled at the other team girls after one coach told him why his daughter wasn't playing much. (Not doing what they asked of her). Another Dad gets his daughter kicked off team. (btw like 99% of the parents, everyone thinks their kid is the best too :-) ) - Two girls (twins) moved to Florida a couple of weeks ago. - One girl left months ago b/c didn't like playing time. New coach (from 2022 team) should help starting this week. Existing kids are excited to have him coming back. We will see in the Fall! -Dad kicked off of team by director - true. Kicked off previous team not true. -Former LBC draw girl's Dad yelled at the team - not true. Hard to have stats when she rarely did the draw. Would like to see stats of girls who consistently do the draw. -Two girls moved to FL but quit team before due to other issues on the team. -Girl left because of playing time - true Fact checking seems pretty airtight to me....I'll accept it.

And that the missing coach quit The coach did not just up and quit. She cares about every girl on that team and would never give up on any girl. She was already transitioning to the new coach in the spring before any drama that happened at the end of the season. The director will also help the girls as much as possible but she will not allow her coaches to be disrespected. There's always more to the story.

How did the M&D tryouts go? Ton of girls trying out. Not sure if any impact players to make the black team, but the red team will be improved from top to bottom.

Not sure if anyone there was heads and tails better than the current players. Hard to take a player that had a good 2 day tryout vs someone that has been with you for multiple seasons who has equal talent.

Every team has girls who are struggling to get on the field, these girls should move on. Those spots can be taken by girls who show ability and promise at tryouts.

Lots of promises broken to quite a few girls that wanted to leave but were told to stay w MDU because they would help with recruiting. My daughter has received zero help this year. It’s been so disappointing. We have been with MDU for years too.

That's your takeaway? LOL. Sounds more like a club director actually backs her coach up and won't tolerate abusive parents despite the talent of the daughter. If anything, you should be looking at getting your kid to that tryout. Granted if you think your kid can get PT at Hero's Green or M&D, by all mind, go to those tryouts too. My takeaway?? Trying to make yourself/daughter the star of the team while acting like you know everything about everything...sounds pretty accurate. Club director does back up her coaches which is one thing we agree on. By saying there are spots available on the 19th ranked national team doesn't exactly sound like an advertisement for MDU. I doubt you'll take your daughter to Hero's Green or M&D Black tryouts because because they could care less who you are and they have two teams of parents just like you. Maybe you already tried that and it didn't work out.

Then you’re a ding dong too and will believe anything you hear second hand. If you didn’t see/hear it with your own eyes/ears then how are all the facts above “airtight”. Dah….

Really? That's your takeaway? LOL. Sounds more like a club director actually backs her coach up and won't tolerate abusive parents despite the talent of the daughter. IT would be nice if all clubs took this approach. If anything, there are a few spots now available on the currently ranked 19th national team. If anything, you should be looking at getting your kid to that tryout. Granted if you think your kid can get PT at Hero's Green or M&D, by all mind, go to those tryouts too. I don't even have a 2025 kid. There's literally 3 clubs ranked higher in the state than MDU 25, so yeah, sounds like a pretty good place to get your kid involved with. Why do you have an ax to grind?
