Legacy gave themselves an absolute cake walk at the PLC. Especially in the 2028 division, avoid the big boys… Soft 3 game schedule may have been weak but they beat 2 good teams to become champs. Koodos to them.

Venom only lost to a great team by 1.
Legacy beat BBL by 1 to get to championship game, then beat a decent true team by 1.
Rebels can’t beat quality teams although they only lost to BBL by 1. Which makes you wonder did BBL have a bad day today. Otherwise the rebels are like the turtles are great B teams but not good A teams. Maybe they do need to combine again.
Next week Lake George should end season nicely

Two NY teams and two Maryland teams in the 2028 semis. Go NY!!!! MD easily wins both games and face each other in finals. Just saying Hawks parent here - the win over 91 Venom was not easy. It took a lot to come out on top. Great team. Very well coached. Great families. Hope to play them a lot in the years ahead. Venom great parents?

Their Head Coach bailed on them mid season, typical 91 B team fiasco - sell the parents on something, collect their tuition and deliver on nothing promised. If you’re on a B team at 91 - there are so many better options out there. why give them a cent?

Only if you're in their 'friends and family' plan: Coaches kids and friends of Coaches kids. Good luck at tryouts if you don't know someone, b/c all spots are already filled.

That's a notIntelligent comment. You're coming across very bitter by that post. i guarantee you they take on some new players. every team can use some depth.

Except if your kid is a B player, not many good options out there. Can go to a different A team and then ride bench. Or can play on a very solid B team. If there are better options, please explain to a first time parent going thru this.

And Rebels would have had to beat good teams eventually. They proved they couldn’t. Face facts.

Madlax 28 parent here. I watched almost all of the last half of Hawks v Venom at NLF because they replayed the entire game after the lightening canceled the games ~halfway thru the evening before (that's what a Hawks parent told me). I'm not sure why they did that, if true. Madlax played 2-12 minute quarters vs Express North to finish the game which only cost us about 35 seconds on the clock at the same score and ball possession. Seems unfair to Hawks/Venom playing a full game at 7 am.....and TBH the Hawks seemed a little gassed in the finals vs us.
Venom is a slick team. Well coached and motivated, athletic kids. They didn't have the ball movement and time of possession the Hawks are known for, but they played tough and kept it close.

Really??? What’s the better option for a B team on Long Island. I know no one wants to talk about a B team. But they are the top team on the island as far as B teams go. They already got a new head coach and a solid core. Will only be better this upcoming season.

Yeah yeah yeah, we heard in the beginning of this year how they were a top 5 team on Long Island, they might be top 5 B on Long Island atm. Surge has dropped out of any tournament with any semblance of A teams this summer. So far the B coaches have bailed or pretty much bailed on 91, Legacy and Turtles.

Surge will address the issues and will have a solid dedicated coach. Not going to beat the indoor training and they have a great core of kids and parents that will be back- most important

The main difference is is that Legacy has W’s and the Rebels didn’t vs good competition. Whine all you want, the scoreboard doesn’t lie

I found an interesting program starting up. Only going to carry a 2028 team(s). Will have two varsity coaches on their staff. I know a lot of great athletes heading that way. Will be better than most “A” and “B” teams in term of value.

Please stop with the Surge bashing or promo garbage. They are a team for kids that still would like to play outside of PAL and get more run and could care less if they are a 91 brand or labled a B team. They know what they are and have no delusions of grandeur of competing with the best LI teams or any of their kids making an A team.

BTB is going to based around the Plainedge area. I know they did good in the Long Ireland Tournament beat GC pretty good, Express A and competed with Rush. The team only had two practices under their belt.
Not sure of GSB

Go to a place where there is no “a” team that will backfill and take your kids playing time at a tourney. Hitmen, True Blue, icon, 24 and Recon and Viper are examples. Go where your kid plays the game and will make him a better player.
