Interesting the NAL victory wasn't enough to move the Hawks up...feels like goal differential is given too much weight in this formula.

Blackops eliminated the Towermen in the east qualifier with Madlax, both should be ranked higher, Towermen beat Sweetlax this weekend so they should be ranked better.

Looks like 3d Red over Towermen 6-5 in semis and 10-5 over BBL Elite for the 2926 championship. Maybe they should be there.

It appears that 3d Red just beat Towermen in semis 6-5 and BBL Elite 10-5 in final. Maybe they should be there.

3D NE May jump as high as 3 when the rankings update.

You know the rankings are flawed if 3D Red moves up the rankings. The only competition they faced was Laxachusetts Black and their schedule reflects it. Playing your local tournaments against weak competition doesn’t prove much. Just the New England version of Team 91. Plenty quality tournaments played over the past several months with strong quality competition and 3D Red was no where to be found. Can’t wait to hear the excuses. Assuming to many hold backs to make it to the WSYL. Good teams want to play good teams. That’s how the get better!

Where is Laxachusetts Dad? 3D NE now the best in your area huh? Both filled with rising 9th graders repeating 8th grade. Laxachusetts not even the best in its own state! Funny stuff. Will 3D NE be in NLF?

3d Red over BBL Black 10-5

But thanks for the rant, you innocent.

They will surprise if the opportunity comes where they play Express, Hawks, Tigers or Sweetlax. They have the talent to knock off those teams.

👆 Only 2 losses, both to the 8th ranked team. No other games really close.

I would say that playing Laxachusetts black 5 times is serious competition. And going 6-0 at Millon with wins over Towermen and BBL Black was not a fluke. They are definitely a top 10 team.

Typical holdback scenario with 3D and that's the reason they weren't at the qualifier and that's the same reason Laxachusetts wasn't there. Either way, these teams (and others with holdbacks) will likely have some physical advantages throughout the summer against actual on-age teams. That's what is appealing about the WS... to find the best on-age team... period.

Exactly. If you don't think for one second people don't realize there are 4-5 legitimate teams that play WSYL and also compete at all other events, you're crazy. 3D's True's, Tommyknockers, Laxachusetts, Crabs, when they pop up and are good and don't show at on age tournaments, everyone realizes they are a sham grabbing whatever they can to try and get W's! They are as good as the holdbacks they have available that day. There's a huge difference between them and a few other teams.

Played Laxachusetts 5 times and going 3-2 vs them while they shouldn't be a top 10 team doesnt make 3D Red a top 10 team. Towermen win is good, but BBL not so much. Will they be playing at NLF with the rest of the top teams?

You realize there is one on age tournament. Why don't you try living in the real world and adjust accordingly? Or take your lumps and stop whining because "it is what it is". Until they change the system, you play by those rules. If you don't like it, play soccer

Even with their hold backs, Laxachussetts Black went 2-2 at the NLF Summer Kickoff with their only two wins coming from barely beating Leading Edge twice. Still doesn't say much for 3D Red's schedule and competition. On age teams thrive on competition and especially when they are beating teams with multiple hold backs. Just find it entertaining listening to all these hold back teams pounding BOC on how great they are. Say less, play more and prove it on the field and remember that anyone can be beaten on any given day....Just be there to support your team and let the boy's pay....

Plenty quality tournaments played over the past several months with strong quality competition and 3D Red was no where to be found. Can’t wait to hear the excuses. Assuming to many hold backs to make it to the WSYL. Good teams want to play good teams. That’s how the get better!

I would say that playing Laxachusetts black 5 times is serious competition. And going 6-0 at Millon with wins over Towermen and BBL Black was not a fluke. They are definitely a top 10 team.
That may be so, but most of the talk on BOTC as far as rankings and reality is that the teams discussed on here that are relevant are the on age teams. Not national teams with mostly holdbacks.

Reality is that most, if not all, of the country does it one way and LI does it another. The rules are the rules until hey change them. And we all know that holdbacks happen on LI, just not at 7th and 8th, but it is the norm. Bottom line is that other than LI Express, there isn’t another LI program that can crack the top 20. Can t keep comparing about the same thing over and over again. Gets old.

What's old is the defense that age difference and holdbacks don't play a factor in wins if a handful of kids are 6-12 months older than the bulk of their competition. Well known that it's a fact of life in lacrosse but it needs to be called accurately.
