What are you talking about? The Hawks play MadLax and NextLevel this weekend, so the PP is saying the Hawks did a Tonya Harding on NL, and might do the same to ML. Get it?

Because the Hawks haven't played NL yet. NL already has a bunch of kids out before they've played the Hawks. It appears like the ML poster misread the post or tried to be clever and it didn't work.

Hawks dad - I did not make the joke and I never said it was funny. But the fact that I had to explain it twice (not 3x) for your benefit does make somebody seem like a bit of a dope.

Original post about reporting to Hogan 2. First Tonya Harding post 3. 2nd Tonya Harding post explaining the 1st 4. The response saying it wasn't you... It was a notIntelligent post that didn't make sense and wasn't funny.

Turning back to lacrosse, I sure hope your son's team doesn't get smoked twice in one weekend!

Some shakeups coming to AAA and Elite clubs. Hearing 2-3 new teams are entering the arena from Baltimore and surrounding areas.

With 40+ programs already seems like the talent pool is getting pretty shallow.

Ironically, it was against ML B team. The cheat was so egregious HoCo suspended their protest rule to allow ML to play the following weekend. Another good luck for youth sports.

I guess True 27 didn't train enough for their NAL appearance. Also sent some of their Green players to help their white players in Summer Exposure. Not much there either! Train more!

With 40+ programs already seems like the talent pool is getting pretty shallow. You would think it would. But there is always someone or club with a good speech looking for more money to convince some parents they are what their son needs. After lining their pockets the hucksters leave with another club taking their place with fresh parents looking for the same thing.

I’m not sure why so much detest for true. There older teams are good and they were just couple years to late for 27. All the better kids from Annapolis area are already on other clubs. I will say they don’t have the toxic environment that some of these other teams do.

No detest here, but certainly annoyance and slight amusement. Shake my head at it, really.
They actively recruit rec-level kids and shove them into "club" environments where they don't belong.
They regularly water down the leagues and tournaments they enter. Just last weekend, they entered JV A and lost to Crabs 20-0 at Summer Exposure. Gee thanks.
Hashtags and fluorescent uniforms don't equate to culture. There is no toxic culture because there is no culture whatsoever. It's an extension of "Planet Fitness" in the lacrosse world. Have money? You too can play "club lacrosse!" Like many lax clubs//soccer clubs they are another example of what's ruined lacrosse and youth sports in general- money.
On the positive side, they do a great job of selling a dream to kids and parents.

I think you confused this is about 2027! Anybody club below elite level you could make the same argument that there a ton of rec kids.

At the 2027 level True Annapolis was top in AAA HoCo. Seems like they have a pretty good squad. Not elite but really there are only a few of those teams in the area Hawks, Next Level, Madlax.

Just saw true Baltimore at a tourney. Total disgrace. Coaches, parents, players, top to bottom were everything that is wrong with youth lacrosse. I would be embarrassed to run with that crew

True Baltimore is So low class I couldn’t believe my eyes. Coaches being poor role models, parents being poor role models, and wouldn’t you know they had a player ejected from the tourney(not the game, the tourney). Steer clear of these clowns.

They will probably struggle moving up to elite. I agree those 3 teams are best in elite but for some reason madlax lost to legacy and bbl at NAL.

Which tournament? I saw some issues at Summer Exposure. Some parents on the sideline were very reasonable and friendly, others obnoxious. Do they have a green and white too?
