Was it the Northman brought down to play? Or the 2027? Either way bush league. Would not want to be part of an organization that does that to win a tourny. What about the kids on the team who have been there all year working? Don’t get to play so they can say they won? Don’t want to be a part of that at all igloo.

You sound like a bitter surge parent who got beaten by the POLAR CAPS. I get it, you thought you were winning that tournament. Was this not the same team you played at blatant? Relax polar cap dad. These are facts. Not a surge dad. Is your goalie a 2027? Did you not bring Northman players? I am not bitter. Just factual bush league nonsense from a respected organization.

Truth No ones bitter at all. Just don’t come on here chirping about winning a tournament when you’re team/orginazation is engaging in shady tactics to do so.

Personally no issue with clubs bringing “a” players to “b” team to play. They aren’t bringing the top kids in most cases. There is no rule against it, and it’s good for those kids paying their share to get more experience and run. It’s a club- not a team. Just my opinion. The 2027 goalie thing is complete BS if true

Battle of the B team parents. If Surge parents are that desperate for an elusive tourney victory, maybe they should just stick to town tournaments. It will be a long summer in 91 land, with no upside at all. Good luck hoping to join Venom, where the only ones who play consistently are the Coaches kids, and they play on your dime. Next time grab a clipboard and whistle to make sure Jr. gets on the field.

Here is a list of teams with parent coaches: 91,Legacy, Express, Rush, Moose and Igloo. I’m sure others that I didn’t mention have as well.

Those Maryland handfuls, with their parents who held their kids back before Kindergarten and 6th grade...it all evens out though when their 16 year old freshman has to go up against the 20 year old senior at varsity practice.

Just sayin Go back to the 2028 mid-Atlantic thread where the locals are fighting about what club has the most 12 year olds. As of now it seems like Hawks are first, Madlax 2nd and Crabs are in 3rd in the oldest kids per roster category.

Glad you wasted your time Anthony. Just you see— the MD teams are gonna punish you guys this summer Due to Covid, 2028 has a very small sample size of teams playing different geographies. From the VERY small sample, the post about MD teams is accurate until it gets settled on the field in the summer season. This age group could also be one where a non-hotbed team (Texas, FL, CO etc) with a great coach and some athletes could make a run at the bigger tournaments. Those areas in particular did not have a lost year like the Northeast and could surprise. July NLF in Mass will set the stage for the age group and the field of teams will have every geography represented. Also a very small chance the WSYL survives long enough for 2028.

Seriously, if they are playing the coaches kids on Venom then the coaches kids are very talented because they are heads and shoulders above the other LI clubs at this point. Let’s see who can match them this summer.

Rebels goalie better then Venom. Welcome Rebels goalie dad. Does anyone else want to say their own kid is the best but then act like they are some random parent that just watches tons of 5th-grade lacrosse?
