Gilman is placing emphasis where it should be placed, on academics. This year's matriculation list will be without comparison in the MIAA (male only, BMS list this year is outstanding). All while the other schools build dorms for lacrosse players and court holdbacks and out of area (state) players for a sport that is very quickly going nationwide. Spend your $35k on academics, not on a sport with fleeting opportunities in college and no money in the pros.[/quote]

I have a couple of questions for the Don faithful. When you're up by 3 in the fourth, why are you running the pole on the wrong wing on the FO? BL gets a fastbreak and goal off of that decision? Their vaunted D was porous in the 4th. Does Loyola slide to weaker poles and shorties, who by the way were the best I've seen all year? Offense: Working the entire 80 seconds of every possession when you're up by 4? Settled Loyola O consisted of lots of standing around with one man dodges. Off ball motion? Poor transition O all game. Many squandered opportunities. Failure to draw a man, flat footed attackmen and bad spacing. Very uninspired fourth quarter. Learn how to close out a game as a team.

In a game where our Defense AL Holds the BL attack man D petro to zero points completely shut down This coaching staff is a disgrace. I let it cool a few days and it’s even worse NO timeouts no adjustments Really unacceptable All this talent

Not going to lie as a "BL supporter" I was shocked as well. After every goal we were waiting for the TO. Aj did completely shut down petro pretty sure scoreless that in itself should of been enough to win. He scores his goals pretty much one way and AJ took that away both games Hope MCd didnt watch that

No TO and a season long of watching an attack unit pilr up points against weaker teams but no where to be found in big ones just a couple of many mnany coach blunders. So much a shame this team had the goods to be good.

Don’t forget to place some emphasis on protecting students against predators.

Between those headlines and the fall-out from the open hearted embrace of big time football it’s no wonder you are now in a defensive position, losing games, losing coaches, and losing recruits, reduced to lashing out at other schools.

Nah, the incoming socialist framework will eliminate those jobs and class distinctions, and private schools will have no meaningful place.

No, not bitter at all, and I have a great life, seems you splaying folks just can't live with reality and honesty, especially LD. Hoping Naval Acd has the strength to shut him down when he tries his bribery. So, get used to #ASbconference or c conference, take you to pick, you will finish near the bottom of either one.

I've ever seen a more bitter group of human beings in my life. Get out from behind your computers, stop complaining in the stands, and go enjoy life.

I saw a lot of lacrosse this spring and couldn't be more proud of what I saw. I'm happy to report that the kids are still out there playing hard, playing for eachother and having fun. I saw kids on all teams supporting each other and playing with sportsmanship. It's the few negative and bitter parents on here and in the stands that ruin it for the kids. Get a life of your own.

No, not a LB dad, just a lax fan. Seems odd that when someone mentions anything about Spalding, their fan base comes out if full charge mode, defend this school. How pathetic. As for LB, if you knew anything about high school sports LB is an A conference team in every sport, even football. In football they went independent for a few years to get their program to the level needed, but they play many A conference teams. In soccer, they lost the A conference championship in 2019 to McD in a double shootout, both were very strong soccer teams. For baseball, they won the A conference championship in baseball in 2017. So, before you go thinking you know what you are talking about, I suggest you do a little research. And you do know that Spalding is considered a public school with a religion department. Oh, and wasn't the principal and assistant principal fired in the fall of 2020, something about changing grades for football players. And, the girls basketball coach was fired in early 2020 for making a crud comment about a St Frances player, a player of color. See, I did this quick research in about 5 minutes and got all the correct information and I know very little about LB, unlike you stating LB plays all other sports in the b/c conference. AS dad, get with the program.

Re read the post, has nothing about being bitter, just pointing out the appearance of weakness on the schools lacrosse program and inability to face the true facts. Probably you are looking in a mirror with your weight gain, loss of hair and inability to get your facts straight. Didn't your son want to be the manager of AS lacrosse team but was turned down????

To get back to the level they needed? Loyola just moved down to the B Conference in football. You probably should have used your five minutes to fact check your own postings.

No, I'll be there, in the BL section, where my son plays. You sir are the true looser, if a team/program can't keep their website accurate and up to date, that is a true reflection on the program. AS had the score posted last night for their game that evening vs. CH. LB did beat you and they beat us, BL, once. So try to understand how things work and how others keep facts straight, except AS. HS lax is just a game, totally agree, but seems AS and Lids think it is much more than that. Enjoy this year, it will never repeated at AS.

"Enjoy this year, it will never repeated at AS." Funny how people think they can prognosticate. If I remember correctly, there were lots of folks here saying SP wouldn't be in the top four at the end of the year. Just accept the fact that things change and different teams win and lose. Nothing more and nothing less. Cheers

I have a feeling the AS chatter is come from one or two clowns that like to stir the pot. With regards to next year, what’s the story there? I thought the driving force behind the team is the ‘22 class or am I mistaken?

Yeah agree, most of the snobs like Miss French Fries are deracinated liberals who care more about their Country Club than their country or the future of their offspring.

22’s that play are good just not enough of them next year. Biggest holes will be fogo and goalie. Unless they have kids transfer in. 23 and 24 class is weak don’t know much about the 25 class.

Figured it wouldn't take long for some butthead GOP lover to show up spewing his bs. Why not go to Fl. and live with trump before he is hauled off to prison. That is where he is headed, it is finally going to catch up with him. Now we can all sit back and listed to the L Graham. M McConnel and S. Hannity types moan and continue to lie about the "Big Lie".
This is a lacrosse forum for children, lets keep it that way please and keep the political bs out of it.

Your hilarious. " just pointing out the appearance of weakness on the schools lacrosse program and inability to face the true facts" I bet any MIAA team will take that weakness to be in Final. You are a small bitter minded person who just cant get over Spalding. Must really get at you.

The function you are referring to is AutoComplete, not Autofill. Perhaps you should write your comments out in crayon first before trying to use technology beyond your cognitive abilities.

25 AS class is weak also. Several of the Hawks are going but not the best of the group. Check out the 25 forum and you will see how far the Hawks have regressed in recent years. They are also tiny.

Now less than 24 hours until the championsh game. BL has been here before and has won it several times while I believe this is AS first time here. I don't feel this will make a major advantage for BL but the key is how AS responds to the jitters and can fight through it and play settled lacrosse. I'm guessing it will be a good game with a tight score. Good luck to both.
