I agree with the picks except one...an upset - Crabs over Hawks. You heard it here first!

Hope you didn't bet the ranch on it!

Hawks 13 - 8 Crabs. Was a good game. Hawks played 4 good quarters, Crabs played 2 good quarters. All boys gave it all that they had and left it all on the field.

Crabs need more depth. They rely too much on one player, and while he's an excellent player, he can only do so much. Hope he got a good night sleep

I brought my son and his teammate to the field early yesterday so they could watch the Crabs - Hawks game. I fully agree on Crabs lack of depth comment. Their face off middie is a great player but lost effectiveness as the game, heat and sprints up and down the field took there toll (as it would on any person).

In contrast Crabs were committed to shutting down the Hawks #22. Going so far as to face guarding him for nearly the entire game, resulting in many 5 versus 5 situations. While they held # 22 to maybe 1 or 2 goals, the rest of the Hawks picked the Crabs apart with what seemed like 8 or 9 guys scoring goals. Definitely a contrast between a team with one great player and limited depth and another team with deep depth.

Would make sense considering that schedules were not equal and 4th and 5th team could end up with same record.

You mean like playing the 26's who stood on the sideline while the 25's played?

Did the Crabs bring in Jimmy Patsos. Reminds me of when Loyola double teamed Steph Curry the entire game. He did not score, but they lost by 30! Must be a Baltimore thing.

That’s when tiebreakers play a role.

playoffs are set with top 4 teams - Hawks, Crabs, True and Madlax all in. Only issue is seeding. Hawks win vs Madlax then #1 seed. If Madlax wins then possibly 3 way tie with the winner of Crabs vs True.

Someone said 4v5 as a play in game but not positive. If that's the case, Madlax would be 5 and play one of the 2 defeated from this weekend.

rest of the teams preparing for summer tournaments after this weekend. It was mistake to move so many teams into the elite bracket. Keep it at 8 so everyone plays each other. HOCO should do a relegation weekend for bottom 4 to play each other to determine which two teams drop a division next spring. Gives other teams something to play for.

Agreed. If relegation was in effect then FCA and NL would be looking at going to AAA. The most likely outcome would be that they go 1-2 in AAA and come back after a year. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Nobody really knows, it could be top 5, top 4, top 6. Need to wait for official announcement.
