Loyola does have talent, problem is some of the offense is extremely selfish, out for themselves and has been this way since their first game Head coach has to see it but guess just pretends he doesn't because the selfish players continue to only look out for themselves. Ball movement doesn't work at all with selfish players, they get the ball and just go to the goal. They may sore once in a while but for every goal scored, they loose the ball or turn it over many times over. Can't keep up with other strong teams with play like that. Loyola's head coach seems to be a nice guy but he is not a strong head coach, not even close and the other offensive coaches are just as weak. Too bad, if coached properly this could be a much stronger team.

And shows that you still haven't got over your sons lack of talent to make Spalding. Do tell, did your son play attack? Is that why you are so jaded.

Remember, LB is all about lacrosse: they are the only large enrollment all boys school in the MIAA to drop to the B Conference because they "felt" they couldn't compete. At 3-3 to date, the Dons have a tough schedule left. Some feel going 0.500% over their remining games would constitute a rebound. But Spalding, BL (if they make the game up), Severn and CHC are all tough outs. God forbid, they go 4-6 or 3-7 and are a first round exit in the playoffs. The peasants will storm the Bastille.

The CH/BL game is on OTA broadcast TV this evening. If you have digital OTA TV (ie, an antenna) you can watch on Channel 11.2 - WBALDT2 (Me TV Network).

Tons of talent and fresh legs on the bench that work equally hard but never touch the field; they just show up to watch the 14-17 others play the entire game in an often selfish, tired, and disorganized manner. That team could truly be a powerhouse if coached more effectively without all the politics.

Should be a good finish and playoff in MIAA. McD finishes with Gilman and JC and then a bye. That could work against them. Any of 6 teams have a shot to win it all.

Those kids would have been better off going to St. Mary’s. You can’t buy/manufacture a culture of winning. Spaulding lacrosse program is a joke. Dingers, Hawks 22 - whatever you want to call it all about Daddy Lids and his paid friends. Feel sorry for Phipps when the money spigot is turned off. Question is - what does it cost to get your kid on the field at Navy? We will soon find out.

Top 3 players in each position in the MIAA? In no particular order: Attack: Chizmar, Millon, Petro Defense: Burlace, Dwan, Hernandez, J Kelly, LSM: Larkin, Midfield: Tucker, Brown, Kelly, Goalie: Wilson, don’t know enough about the SSDMs and FOGOs to evaluate.

LJ better hit the wall because he got outplayed by Loyola’s lefty attackman also going to Navy. My guess is LD will be sponsoring something if he expects junior to see the field before his senior year Bet LS is happy his son is compared to that talented player

Yep....deep roster of 50 and 65-75% don’t ever see the field...and not due to any lack of talent or skill.

Pretty sure its the opposite when playing lacrosse.AA county has been sending kids to play in baltimore for decades. Who gets invited to play at Spalding? What does this even mean?

Sorry bud, but I have to agree with the other persons assessment of this middie, overrated. Sorry, just the way it is. Have seen him play club ball last 2/3 summers and this is where the selfishness stands out and it carriers over to LB, so I'm told. Haven't seen any LB games this year, will shortly, but it is just the way it is. Not everyone agrees with all opinions.

I don't know this kid or whoever "LD" kid is but really. You guys are parents, none of our kids are perfect. Why would you write stuff?
