If that's what fits best academically, fine do what's best, but don't pretend it's not a holdback impact when it comes to sports.

It does look like Team 91 technically played AA. However, AA was sorted into two groups. The Sidewinders, VLC, T91, BLC Blue group and the NL, Mad Dog, True IL, and Team MD, Team 11 group.
So congrats T91! Enjoy your AA wins! Technically, FCA played A and ran from the AA competition. Technically- NO- AA was never offered on Saturday- 4 FCA kids play on one of the "all-star" teams and could not make it on Sunday due to other commitment. They tried to play TI and NL on Saturday but scheduler would not change due to lack of teams in A. FCA plays LIE, Sweetlax and Prime Time on Saturday prior to starting HoCo on Sunday- they arent running from anyone. That is a busy spring tournament schedule! which one is that?

Why is this 2027 forum concerned about summer 2009 players moving to 2028 - if that were even the case? I can see this group going crazy if Hawks 2026 players with summer 2008 birthdays were coming down to play for 2027, but I don’t think that’s happening.

If it didn't matter then why does WSYL have rules like this? All players must be born on or after 9/1/2007 for the 13U division and born on or after 9/1/2006 for the 14U division. Each player will be required to submit a copy of their birth certificate

27 Hawks head coach went to 2028. His son is a 2010 birthday, a 2028. Two other kids- both from the 27 Hawks, moved down to 2028 also. Both are true 5th graders.
Don’t speak on it if you don’t know.
That whole team has 13 new players. NO kids from USS or True. New coach and mostly new Roster.

Better get ready to protest the Madlax rosters each and every game. They have 29 players listed on the A team and 19 on the B team and 9 players names appear on both rosters. Their own parents complained about double rostering earlier this fall.
And I bet those BLC parents really feel good moving to ML just to switch to the C division.

Lacrosse is the fastest-growing youth sport. The National teams have a huge catchment area. West Coast Stars draws from a population base of over 50 million. While we have in DMV 20 clubs spreading the talent pool. It's just a numbers game.

Curious how Madlax 2027's handled their rosters? Did any BLC or pre-existing players choose to return or leave after the BLC contingent came over. Has to be a bad situation going from the top division to the 3rd level. The DMV team should dominate that level and the Capital team is super strong regardless of who left.

I think they are still getting dialed in with the new coach. I’m not sure they lost or tied 3 games in the last 2 years.

Most DMV club teams win easily against them" and WCS played 3 teams (4 games) against DMV teams and none of them "won easily" vs WCS. Not making the point that WCS is amazingly good, etc

Team MD had some goals against hawks but yeah, generally there's a significant gap between Hawks/Madlax/NL to the other teams in the division.
