Calvert Hall runs the table.
Loss to St Mary's woke them up.

Ummmmm... Perhaps slow your roll a bit... My schedule shows that on the afternoon of Tuesday May 4 CHC is scheduled to play a game on a field located conveniently between Glen Burnie and the Anne Arundel county Landfill (Exit 12 West off I-97, leave the cornfield on your left, listen for the announcer and the cheerleaders). This hallowed patch of earth--brimming with lacrosse history, MULTIPLE B Conference Championships, and its own special sort of tradition--is the home of a group who will not go gently. Our DINGERS--world beaters, some have said--will be there and aiming to shock the world.

4- Calvert Hall - Coming off a pasting of JC, the Cardinals will be too much for the Eagles. The tiger has been poked.
5- Boys' Latin - Just how good is BL? Put up or shut up time.
6- Severn - Good win on the road over Gilman. Admirals are sneaky good.
7- St. Paul's - Can St. Paul's carry momentum of LB win into next week after Covid pause?
8- Loyola - Dons need to get their act together and JC is just what the doctor ordered
9- Gilman - Hounds get a break and then get a shot at St. Mary's in a week
10- John Carroll - Nothing to lose. If Patriots show up ready to play, could give Dons some trouble
11- Mount St. Joe - 12 goal win over Curley highlights the season. The date with JC is circled on their calendar

Calvert Hall beats MCD by 3 goals. SM poked the bear and woke him up. MCD has been flying high and will be brought down to earth. The Cardinals will dominate FOs, time of possession and will score 12+ goals. Look for the Cards to run the table through the regular season and playoffs.

Looks like the bear was poked to death and every prediction you made was proven false. Like I said CH loses another 2 games lost this year and their Reign is over in the MIAA; 22, 23 and 24 classes are weak. Coach is making calls to out of state prospects this weekend.

A lot of you stunads are moving the goalposts now. You finally realize that Spalding has a dam good chance to make the finals and even win it all so now you bring up PLL and the other nonsense.

Should of hit the wall instead

Loyola, Gilman, McDonogh from what I know for 2024. Can’t speak to 2023.

The best 2023s in AA county are at Severn and St. Mary’s.

I would say Severn has the best group of 2023s in AA County maybe the entire Conference.

Sorry to hurt your felling but the best IAC teams are in maryland so this forum is a perfect place to say they are stronger than the MIAA this year. Not even close.

Are you basing this on one scrimmage? Very suspect arguement. I believe the top 2-3 teams in the A Conference could run with Landon, Gonzaga, GP or SJC all day. Its easy to make assertions otherwise since they're not playing due to Covid.

Spalding is a good team. But McD is the favorite right now. Still, AS is 1 of about 5 teams that have a legit chance to get hot and make a run in the A:
CH, BL, McD, AS, St M.

And then there's teams like Severn and LB that are solid and could surprise some people.

Totally agree with this post but inserting LB in place of BL

Mcdonogh or Spalding in MIAA unless they completely fall apart. Both are on fire and will be hard to beat. They can however be beat.Theirs to lose. Gonzaga is the best team in the WCAC and IAC and its not even close. Landon is very good this year and then a drop off. Both leagues games are in full swing this week.

Spalding still has to play LB and CHC. Let's see where they are after those games.

Clearly you don’t know. Bullis would beat ANY MIAA team.

McDonogh beat them last year. Looking at the pieces they lost, McDonogh is as good or better than last year. Can’t speak for Bullis. Competition, as ever, tougher up and down the MIAA than the IAC. Though love the new DC championship series!

Biggest disappointment this year in the MIAA has to be Loyola! Loaded with talented but really looked uninspired yesterday against McDonough.

+1

"Underwhelming" is another word to describe it.

From a purely competitive standpoint, the McD game was trending to be much worse before the stoppage in the first game.

You didn't watch the Landon v SSSAS games. Bullis and Prep are much stronger. GZ has taken a step back for sure.

Not sure any of the SJC or GZ games will be competitive until they play each other. PVI and DeMatha are not close. WCAC doesn't have enough depth in lax. They should break the league up like they do in football.

Spaulding is going to get destroyed by Calvert Hall. 80 degree weather for teams that aren’t deep means an butt kicking is in store.
