Heard the tigers new addition is really Colin Heacock. That's why he didn't sign with the PLL. Too busy with WSYLax. Don't tell the rules committee. Dont Forget Rambo . He is under the radar after shaving his beard,. Little Husky, but looks on age now.

Love the Hawks goalie, he loves to troll kids and then they run and tell their parents. Classic!!!!
Guess what, the whole qualifying team is on age for the WSYL and all will be there. The 2027 kids played well and got plenty of playing time. 3 out of the 4 scored multiple goals and the pole played good D. Again, doesn't say much for your holdbacks who werent allowed to make the trip if you still won with the 27’s (who again are probably 26s by birthdate). It’s funny really. Not a Hawks fan either but doesn't it just mean they have on-age depth that might struggle against the other Elite teams with graduation year holdbacks?

I was Contacted by 3 teams that have advanced and 2 other teams that did not advance to join their team to play It is always going to happen If the kids are having fun let it go Sure you were; 5 teams contacted you for your son to play for them......these poor kids and their delusional parents. Dunno... on age backup goalies are a hot commodity, this is not a dig, this is just what I have heard about when teams are pulling from their home area for this event.

What team does your son play for? Why did he decline?

My kid was contacted by zero teams. He is not too bad but has some areas for improvement. My Kid was contacted by minus 3 teams...That is, 3 teams said if they were contacted by him, they would refuse him a place on team. He is at this time Hitting The Wall !!

Actually all the goalie b.s. talk started from express- You know they are nervous they arent going to make the final at wsyl no matter how easy they have it set up for them .

Not just elite players being contacted by top MIAA coaches. But don’t let it hurt your bottom.

So 4 teams get to qualify. Pretty good odds compared to East and North.

Certainly their parents all think they did because it was all over social media. Has WSYL not yet announced who qualified???

Jake's getting the magnifying glass out? They should require passports and have a player check in at the event, problem solved. Disqualified if your team is caught cheating, pretty simple.

Seems to me that anybody who would actually know about an audit would not be posting about it on BOTC. Care to share any details that might bolster your cred?

Right, but they did combine clubs which is obviously against the rules.

Right, but they did combine clubs which is obviously against the rules. Not trying to stir up anything but rosters just had to reflect residency within 100 miles of the home team correct?... So BlackOps players just needed to be within 100 miles of VLC. Speaking as a parent on a team that lost to them maybe their formation isn't exactly in the spirit of the event, but I didn't think rules had been broken. I think CLCA teams Top Caliber and Team MD formed a team for 14U

I think CLCA teams Top Caliber and Team MD formed a team for 14U I was going to post a 'Nevermind' because I see that under ELIGIBILITY RULES – UNITED STATES TEAMS "All players must compete with their team or program on a regular basis. Players cannot be added only to participate in the WSYL and teams cannot be formed out of a partnership or alliance between two or more standalone clubs. The intention of this rule is prevent the formation of all-star teams for the purpose of participating in the WSYL." ETC ETC But that was a recent change, sorry I am late to the party if this has been hashed out already, I was going by what I remembered. https://web.archive.org/web/20201021222405/https://worldseriesofyouthlacrosse.com/rules/

I don't think Black Ops will be DQ'd under the rule against combining teams. WSYL knew what they were doing and should have said something prior to qualifiers if it was a problem.
But, if Black Ops really did use a 14 year old player or somebody outside of 100 miles, that is another story. Because they violated the spirit of the event by combining 3+ teams, nobody will cut them any slack on the black and white rules.

If you read the rules it says that the WSYL will enforce the rules at their own discretion. There is no audit. That is Fake News people. The WSYL doesn’t have the manpower or the money to spend on this. There are like 4 people in the organization, the last thing they want to do is look at 400 kids passports and reports cards.
