So Tommyknockers, Kings, Laxachusetts, Crabs, Looney's, FCA MD and 91MD arent registered. Things that make you go Hmmmmm Too old and/or too far apart you have to assume. I am sure we'll all see them and their roster of mostly 14 year olds in the summer. Has anyone ever played the Kings? I have only ever heard them mentioned on here. Is there a Boston and Colorado Kings? Colorado Kings are a very good team. Lots of kids are aged out. Same with TK. They are not playing in WSYL, although its possible some of their on age kids could join the Sixers squad. Dont know.

WSYL rankings have Hawks #1. Fact! LI Express #2, Tigers #3, Sweetlax #4 Towerman #5 . Hawks #1!!!!! Rankings are bogus, they are based on past performance which includes holdbacks, rankings did not take that into consideration. These teams are losing anywhere from 3-5 of their best players once they show up for qualifiers. Don’t be surprised to see these teams fall short. True. And it doesn't take in to consideration the all Long Island (and beyond) version of the Express team.

Most of the teams listed on the bubble in the rankings are the "hometown" teams carrying their normal roster. They won't make it past qualifiers, but there will def be shifts higher up on the list

Teams will whine about a few players who are 1-4 months too old for the WSYL playing as a 2026 but think that making an all LI/Upstate/NJ/Connecticut team is all good.

Crabs just got 2 more new holdbacks from out of state. A faceoff kid who is legit!!! and another who will not join until the summer season when school lets out. Anything to win HoCo..... LOL this is hilarious; already pulling kids out of state to play 7th grade lacrosse!! But this is the crabs way; there is no such thing as player development with this club. They just look for the next best things and recruit, recruit, recruit.

If a kid shows up at tryouts and can help the team then why not grab him? If he lives far away he can probably just drive himself to practices and games.

Want your kids to well in hs? We played the boy up 1-2 years from 4-7th grade. Brought him back on age in 8th. He's starting in the MIAA on defense as a true freshman.

I think sometimes these parents get too caught up in "My son's team is better than your son's team" or "we're the best team in HoCo" and they lose sight of more important aspects of their kid being part of a team.

Why don't they say ahead of time how many spots are up for grabs at each? Any idea of East?

Agreed, with 17 teams in the East you would think it's at least the top 1/2 that should qualify for the National Tournament, but who knows. You would think they would specify that before the regional begins.

Anyone willing to put predictions out there on how each pool finishes? I don't know a lot about these teams.

No one knows anything about the teams- it's all a show before until they actually show up. You know teams are trying to hold everything back until they get to the qualifier.

Only 3 teams in Central qualifier this weekend. No way 2 out of 3 advance. One team from Central will make it. International teams aren’t allowed in the USA right now. Unclear if that will change in 4 months. Likely no international teams so 4 more slots available.

They usually bring 2 (one from Ontario and one from BC).
