True lost to the Hawks 11-2 yesterday. I don’t think they would take that #2 spot. They tied Express. Express, I believe, lost to NJ Express. It was good lacrosse for the play day. Teams have good games and bad games. Kids work and get worked. It happened a lot yesterday. You want to bash the Hawks, they have lost 3 games in several years. If I am correct, Express won one game yesterday. Against the Hawks. Their face off kid is legit.

No pathetic defense was giving up 11, True Dad and only scoring 2 now thats pathetic on a pathetic defense lol For years the Annapolis Hawks have lived off of recruiting the most talent in the area. Developing kids was never a priority; if a kid is not cutting it go find the next best thing and bring him in. That philosophy and the lack of coaching has finally caught up to this team. Yesterday they were outworked; plain and simple. Express; once they settled in; were definitely the more talented and physical team. Hawks definitely needs to upgrade defensively; size and lack of a physical presence are major issues against bigger and more aggressive teams. I also find it funny that they lose but post about True Annapolis - seems to me their focus isn’t where it needs to be; to get better. This hawks team will be average by HS.

This Hawks team is terrible and their years of terrible management and coaching caught up to them yesterday in their 7-5 loss to a terrible team from NY. Their absolute beatdowns of True Annapolis and BBL notwithstanding, it was great to see them get their comeuppance!

Could not be said any better, Express came to beat Hawks , and they did , Express was more talented, more well rounded team , and on age for WSYL ..if you watched the True game you realize how Express works , they used that game to give a well deserved opportunity to 15 other kids who made the 5 hour trip to Delaware , to enjoy the day , and get some playing time ..that’s developing a team , an organization that cares about everyone, called a “ team” for a reason , not relying on 3 kids who carry a team for years because they are years older ..

I know the truth hurts Dad; you’ll understand my post when your kid gets replaced after yesterday’s showing. My son never played for the Hawks; coaching at this age is important and the Hawks just don’t have it. We will stay North where all the relevant MIAA schools play big boy lacrosse.

So Express and Hawks played a two goal game; Express and True tied; Hawks beat True by 9 goals. Which game was the outlier?

The scuttle butt going around the yesterday complex is that Express used a handful of the kids who played in the 2026 Hawks game when their 2025 team played the 25 Hawks. In speaking with folks who saw the 25 Express Hawks game it was confirmed that the face off kid played for Express in both the 25 and 26 Hawks games. Putting this all together suggests True 26 played against a much watered down version of the 2026 Express team that played the Hawks.
