Sorry we are not living in the past, LXC isn't ranked in the top 20. July NLF it was Hawks first, Tigers second, Madlax third. NLF opener in 2019 and as a reminder it is 2021 when all the top 20 teams were there and it was Hawks #1, Tigers #2, 91 #3 & LXC #4. And now Express beat the Hawks yesterday. Will we see you LXC at the World Series?

I love how laxachusetts dad chimes in . What next, tommyknocker dad? Hawks and Express are the top 2 at 2026, that's obvious. Lachusetts obviously has way too many older kids since they aren't in the wsyl. I would be money that they will meet again in the finals

In their loss to LI Express, did Hawks play their WSYL team or regular club team?

There were close to 40 kids total on and off the field for Express easily. If I drove 5-6 hours for a game and my kid didnt play I'd be very angry

Still working on splitting teams I guess.

Against Hawks - Express didnt switch out their D or attack and the same offensive middies came on - same goalie the whole game

ummmmm. interesting...just this weekend Express whipped Hawks. sooofunny when anyone says something with the word never in it.. usually doesn't work well

Lots of hype for a random play day in March. When do hawks and express play again? Seems like everything reshuffled post-COVID and this age group is a lot of fun with more teams in the mix as things open up. No dog in the fight but playing a kid at two different age groups on the same day is a little shady, sounds like one of the teams will be in trouble without the dominant fogo.

So sounds like the starters are very good but no depth in the team. Strategy doesn’t work when it gets hot and they are playing their third game of the day.

gotta figure that this the excuse for the Hawks losing.. It is interesting.. regardless of the holdbacks and all the other advantages..if Express just plays their best players, they win hands down.. oh well..I guess it is possible for smaller, younger Long Island kids can beat much larger, tougher, Hawks..

7-5 is a whipping? Can we get a game recap for those that werent there? Never heard of a 7-5 whipping.

Close game that could've gone either way. Hawks up 4-0, LIE made it 4-2, Hawks 5-2, LIE scored the next 5. LIE FOGO did not play 25's Sat.

This weekend they played.. I guess any argument about who the King Is,is mute. whether Express or 91 or Igloo..the champion always goes out of Long Island as do over 50% of college players.. they play with their own age group, they play all the older teams that play older kids and then they as they get a little bigger they start to run all those teams off the field.. just facts.. its been going on for 20 years.. I would think that some of these other areas would see it and adopt but as so many have so vocally wrote ...winning in the fifth grade is really important..good luck losing when it it gets real..
