When you play well at one of these events against the best players in your class year.. it most certainly gives a leg up while being recruited.

The sign up and pay to play showcases are pure money grabs. Have your coach recommend what showcase will best fit the players and submit their recommendations for them to be accepted.

We wouldn’t want him playing against older kids He should be a SR so hopefully he makes Varsity.

Kids can apply but the organizer just calls the Directors/Coaches up for each kid to see if he is worth it and each "connected club" only has 2-4 spots for players, with it trending more to the lower end.

How about take you own advice and have kids play their age, when they can't compete tell them to work harder rather reclassify.

Re: Boys 2024-9th Grade Fall 2020/Summer 2021 Anonymous #321238 A Anonymous Unregistered Anonymous Unregistered A We played at this complex in NJ for a few play days....its actually really easy to get to for the NY teams, about 20 minutes on the Garden State Parkway...its better than driving all the way to Maryland....likewise its a lot easier for the Maryland kids to get to because they don't have to drive all the way thru NY with all that darn traffic....all turf fields too which is always a plus.....Showtime and the BS 1% Showcase are both being played there this year.
