The team should stand down. What does that even mean? Do you people hear yourselves? Some people just don’t get it. It’s about your son getting to be a better player. Making friends and having fun along the way. Hopefully soon a real good varsity player. That’s what club sports is. That’s it folks. My older guy has been through this. Teams win games, teams lose games. At the end of the day, nobody cares. That’s what some parents don’t understand. Kids are in school right now, not thinking of the scores of games the past couple weeks. They are thinking about what costume they are wearing on Saturday. Only a handful of crazy parents are fixated on these scores. Lol. The team should stand down. It’s not a military platoon Chief. It’s 13 year old kids playing lacrosse. Thanks for the morning laugh.

Very average, sloppy lacrosse across the board at u14. Maybe next tournament they'll cut the grass. WTH was up with that? Don't give me the Fall ball excuse almost all of us have been practicing 2 to 3x per week since summer. This weekend the better programs beat each other up over 2nd place. Parity. Do you think because C dropped one game they're in trouble? Look at the goal differentials. Teams can't score enough to consistently win. You can only defend for so long. Anyway good luck chasing the dream.

Like it was stated last week: Its Exp and then everyone else in 2025 group. Unless someone saw something different this weekend? Even Rebels, according to Tourney machine, beat Regulators. But didnt Regulators beat them last tournament? So all these teams, on any given day, can beat up on each other.

Regulators were terrible. They looked worse than most town teams vs Rebels.

Clearly same person here making nasty comments that has an axe to grind or is trying to poach someone from Regulators.

That's what happens when you are not a "real team". You have a collection of players with commitments to their primary teams so you never know who is going to show up. All for the sake of WSYL, what an absolute joke. Hope they enjoyed the drive.

Based on this weekend, who are the top 6 teams to compete in WYSL? Express, BBL, Primetime and who?

Right ...someone comes on here to poach someone from a horrible team ? The regulators got embarrassed this past weekend. Why would someone come on here to poach a player from a garbage team ?

Same reason Forcegloo made a package deal. Take 5 average players to get 1 good one.

All these teams are the same. Next tourney they could roll those teams. And their helmets are cool.

Regulators beat who last tournament? Definitely not express long island . Maybe express north ? Every time regulators has faced express LI CoachC they have been beaten badly . Seriously , at this point stop pretending to be a AA team and giving the kids false hope .

To rank them from this weekends Tristar results, Express, Sweet Lax, Tigers, Prime Time, BBL based on head to head. LIE beat SL, SL beat T, T beat PT, PT beat BBL. All close games so coin toss on actual WSYL. Even with Hawks at WSYL with this group its a pickem for WSYL champ.

Which team is AA? There's Chan and then there's all the other A teams and then the B's. Stop with the AA, A, A-, B++ nonsense.

Not a very smart dad apparently . Let's see, beat a team by double digits then go take their players who can't seem to play at the same level . How does that make any sense ?

Ok,let me rephrase to your liking ..stop pretending regulators are an A team. They clearly can not hand with the A teams . They are garbage . Stop giving the kids false hope .

NONE of these teams are much better than the others. PARITY!!! Exp Ch is clearly head and shoulders above them all. The rest dont belong in the same discussion. Not being a donk but thats just the way it is. Everyone knows it and sees it first hand when watching or playing them. And thats all on the coaches... that staff does a GREAT job coaching and it shows. The rest of the teams? Not so much...

Um, question for all the gurus, who won the last time Express played 91? Follow up, what other team on LI has beaten CoachC?

Asking for a friend.

Both Sweetlax and Express are winning with actual age-on kids. Take a look at that BBL team - they had kids that were six feet tall, no exaggeration. And they still lost. Say what you want about Express, but it's not cheating like some of the other teams by bringing 2024s down to play.

It all about the coaching You could have a team full of 24s and if they arent coached correctly they will lose Plain and simple. Its all about coaching and knowing how to make the pieces fit and get the most out of each kid on the team. If they cant do that then there is no shot.

On no, 6ft tall. So what? That doesn't mean he's older. My son is 5'11 in 7th grade, and on age.

With Covid it’s going to be holdback central. People have been complaining about holdbacks for years. Rightfully so. Now forget about it. Wait to you see what happens the next few years. Kids will be graduating high school at 20, maybe even 21 in some places. holdbacks, reclass, prep schools, go to catholic school for a year, then go back to the public school. Etc, Etc. It’s become a rat race.

Does being tall mean that you are not properly coached? I don't get your comment.

Everything else being equal, you'd take 10 properly coached 6ft players over 10 equally properly coached 5'5 players.

Touchy eh? My apologies to Huntingloo town team, and you wonder why the outsiders left. Igloo same average kids, same mistakes, same results no matter who coaches.

Anyone get any answers from coaches about WSYL rosters? Some clubs off LI are inviting outsiders tryout for the WSYL rosters. I guess kids weren't guaranteed spots. How about teams with rosters over the 25 man limit?

Its a 35 player average team charging fees like an elite "A Team". Its a shame as there are some good kids on that team. The force field is around the opposition's net...Force'gloo cant score! But keep running the same kids and the same plays and dont change anything up...Im sure it'll work eventually...of wait.....

The Rebels dads need to stop worrying about other teams and just bask in your own misery of being stuck in a never win situation. Express and 91 parents don’t give a garbage about a team like Igloo so it’s sadly apparent. Angry because a team folded and no one wanted a red helmet. The better kids went to better teams like Express, 91 and Igloo. Some kids even went to 91 Hornets over the Rebels so what does that tell you? Stay strong Rebels players high school ball is almost here.
