^^^^That comment is very funny.
MD clubs have 5-6 clubs that can roll with 91 NY- cant say the same for any other NY/LI teams vs MD teams.

Curious how clubs feel like Koopers,FCA etc that have had players for years and years then snaked out from under them. Having new club pretend like they should somehow get credit for that player and actually post on social media "Our Guy". Kids that havent even been on team for more than a week. Club owners/coaches and parents have to know how bad it looks and complete lack of class. Winning off the field means just as much as on the field. ex: Koopers had 3-4 top recruits that have played with them their entire life and watch Parents sell out at the very end. SELL OUTS

SELL OUTS Some clubs are great for development, but don't have the college relationships to line up as many scholarships/roster invites as other clubs. My oldest son made a move as described above and we felt bad at first (missed his boys, plus hurt his long time team), but you have to do what is best for your kid to get to the next level if that is your goal (plus as a family we saved money as the new club did not charge him).

I think both points are different. The players leaving are already high level recruits and dont need to go anywhere. These are already the top kids in class and have a ton of college relationships(DADS-COACHES)These are clubs that are run by Calvert Hall,Gilman, St Pauls etc. Totally agree with 2nd post if a player doesn't feel current club can get him the exposure or training needed to get to a higher level no one can disagree.Thats not what this is. Difference is the way it happens and in sports like the NBA \ if you cant beat them - join them is the lowest form of sportsmanship and competition. Lebron never wins more than 1 Ship without seling out and stacking the deck in each city he plays in. Other top players think they will never win unless they team up with other top level guys instead of battling it out ANd yes , having a club coach flip the bill for players and outside coaching piles on the stench.

Only a stunad would post this. If you were a real lacrosse fan you would know that D3 level lacrosse happens to be some of the most purist forms of lacrosse and competitive play across the country. Half dozen D3 schools beat up on 60-70% of D1 teams-

Salisbury is better than 2/3 of the D1 teams without a doubt. There is a ton of talent at the top of the D3 level.

Mmmmm Tufts or Delaware, Williams or St. Bonaventure, Denison or Jacksonville. Amherst of Hartford, I could on. Some excellent players who could also easily play at much better schools academically as well go this same route. Academics first. We could all name numerous players who are studs and were recruited by D1 schools but went D3. When you hit college alot of other things matter. My son tells me of his friends who are at the practice field at 6am the first week of school to practice. MANY excellent lax players just dont want this. Stop with the silliness.

Write up from National All Star Games Impressive group of players noticed and in my opinion extremely accurate. Thought competition was high level. Was interested in seeing if DP was going to get a write up and he did not which was the correct call as he was average at best. It is now a few events in a row he has been middle of the road could he fall out of top 10 definitely out of top 5 . Glad to see some of the Defensemen get noticed as they were dominant and created heck for other offenses all tournament

Just because a kid is doesn't know better and believes his self worth is determined by whether he takes a D1 offer doesn't mean a parent has to agree. I would much rather play 4 years for a top flight top academic D3 team than sit the pine for 2 years at a mid level D1. There is no pro level and no money to speak of for lacrosse. Its about PT and getting into the best academic school you can while having a positive collegiate experience. Mike drop!

The top level D3 teams like Salisbury,Tufts, Williams, and Amherst would blow out mid to low level D1 teams. That’s a fact.

Keep making excuses for not making it to D1. My older child was recruited to play D1 and chose D3 because he decided he wanted the social life college brings, without the intensity of D1. Not everyone who plays D3 is there because they can't make a D1 team. Personally it was the best decision for him.

Goalie at Tufts is Arlington kid who turned down a number of D1 offers. Same thing with the attack from Gonzaga who went there last year. Both kids would have easily gotten PT on D1 teams.

You have no idea what the player will do or his dad.

Any any NESCAC degree will have you employed and making bank while some of the D1 schools with 70% accept rates and push the PE majors so they can practice more are sitting in their parents basement for years after college.
