Every kid returned bc there were no tryouts; let’s make that clear.

The "someone" has an axe to grind because his kid got cut over a year ago and he can't let it go. I guess the Rock program isn't all it is cracked up to be.

Guess such a situation is outside some folks personal experience.

Not a single player tried out anywhere else. People are jokers on here.

So 2/3 of the kids are better than players on other elite level teams.

if you're thinking about a certain kid whose dad has a great hat collection he left after last summer. The coaches, parents and kids know who they are. Not quite elite but pretty solid. It's enjoyable team to be around

They are spread across several teams in the area. Is the new who that folded the team helping all the kids find new teams? He owes it to every kid left on the team! I heard they were never told the team was folding. What great communication!!

Nothing wrong with Rock, they are a decent team, not an ELITE one, but I guess that’s why you chose to mock them. I guess your 17 y/o son is on an ELITE 2023.

Nothing wrong with Rock but the as a feeder team to SP they're hardly bringing in the talent to compete in the MIAA.

Rock MS and HS teams worlds apart. Rock known for HS teams. Rock does not claim to feed SP or any other school. Where did you get that idea?

It's a matter of semantics about "feeder". Rock clearly has a lot of connections to SP. When my son played for a Rock team several years back he was asked by the Rock Director to come play for SP in middle school. Nothing wrong with that, just the way the private school and club system works.

don't think they are a feeder to any particular school. they have kids who play in PA, kids who go to Fallston HS, Loyola Blakefield, and Boys Latin.

Orange 2023 has had few if any holdbacks. The reason I know this is from my son playing box (which is age based) with most of the team. Pretty sure the current team has 1, maybe 2, older kids. The rest are on age. It is certainly one of the most on age teams out of the HOCO "elite" division.

Do a lot of Kelly Post kids still feed Looneys? Will the True partnership with KP affect Looneys at the younger ages?

Anything is possible. But I'm not sure a ton of Towson kids are going to want to drive to Harford or Anne Arundel counties for one of the True teams.

KP Teams aren't becoming part of True Baltimore or Harford etc. True providing non-parent coaches and skills training for certain KP club teams. KP True teams still practice on Towson rec fields. KP kids will be able to convert to True teams going into HS

A bunch of rec clubs have done similar things with more "professional" lacrosse organizations. It usually doesn't amount to much other than the occasional "skills and drills" session.

Who is the Looney parent that thinks he or she needs to comment on every post like he is the director of the club.... Whoever this is please stop..... Dogging kids, families, and other programs is not what we do.... Please stop....

Not close to elite; with the exception of a few boys who have an L on their helmet their isn't much after that; sorry.

And a big rise in fees along the way.

I’m sure he and his family have moved on and are completely happy and harbor no I’ll feelings...Funny how an anonymous forum brings out some bad vibes a year later.....Sounds like you need to take a break...This stuff is getting to you if you think you can judge folks on an anonymous forum....Just stop...This kind of stuff speaks volumes.....
