YOU care.

Of course he does. His eyes are green with envy as he looks at top teams and dreams about his son playing for them.

Good news! Team 91 has their own Youtube channel now to watch highlights of last year's Naptown! 9-2.

You still holding on to last summer games?

Why don't the top 8 teams in Maryland ever get together and play a tournament? It would be great locally to have all that talent playing at one time.
With the fall school year being crazy and no school sports why not?

Hawks 91
FCA Express
RR Mad Lax
APi Crabs

Spalding is and always will be a public school you’ve gotta pay 20k for. I’m not sure it’s much better than when it was the school you went to if you got kicked out of other schools. No one in their right mind would send their kid to that school for lacrosse or academics. You’ve got St. Marys down the road in Annapolis if you want a good program and a bunch other superior academic schools throughout the county.

Hawks adding kids from North Carolina now. If they ever find a lefty attackman the could play with team 91 from NY

This is really sad that this coward does this all to try and make his son look better. Every kid is held accountable except his son. The twitter page is terrible

Brotherhood applies to the players you are playing with at the given time. Kind of like the college players that go in the portal or pros that take a bigger pay day with another team.

Or...Daddy Lids couldn’t handle the fact that his kid would be on JV at St. Mary’s so he took his club players and went up the road to Glen Burnie. That will teach ‘em...

Ding ding ding! GI Joe preaches accountability but when St Mary’s held his accountable it was time to get out of that “liberal heck hole”

Stop the conversation about Spalding. They will never be relevant with this staff or this crop of players. The coach is more worried about being a professional goalie than a coach and does not spend the time to develop or recruit players. He had two decent recruiting classes because dads did it for him. He hired his friends to be on his staff rather than guys who can coach. After the rising seniors leave, they may as well be relegated to the MIAA B. My guess is that after NHSLS and the terrible showing, there is a lot of buyers remorse on the lacrosse side of things by many of the families. It can only get worse moving forward.

This forum was much better when people actually talked about all lax teams. Now it’s ALL HAWKS. Boring talking about the best club team in Maryland all the time.

You mean the most unethical club team in Maryland. Which says a lot because Crabs & FCA are pretty bad as well.

Funny how coaches and dads(parents) have no real clue how their own kid or players feel. Even more funny how the majority of players are friends or at least have friends in common and could care less about the name calling, jealousy, cruel talk on this forum. If you are not directly tied to a team and continually bash them on an anonymous forum that your own kid thinks is hilarious then you have real issues - WHO really cares about Splading Lacrosse in the real lacrosse community? WHO cares about how the HAWKS run their team or club? PARENTS know exactly what they sign up for. Especially the red solo cup KOOL AID drinking ones on this forum. I'm pretty sure no one has the guts to confront any coach or players parent that get continously bashed on here.

Any teams playing this fall in the Howard county or Harford county leagues? They both supposedly are having high school divisions.

Which leads to the question, Is there any ethical clubs in MD/DMV/VA that actually can win.

That’s because the players the crabs imported from out of state were better than the ones the hawks and FCA imported. There is no skill or masterful coaching involved, and your local kid had nothing to do with it.

Crabs, Hawks and DC Dogs go back and forth just about every time they match up. They are the best teams in the DMV.
FCA does not belong in the conversation at all. They won some scrimmages when about half of the Crabs/Hawks rosters were present - and they barely won those.

Why does Spalding come up with '22 Hawks? Doesn't the Lids kid play on that team? It's all Cadets with the Boys Latin player added in.

Maybe next year Calvert Hall and McD should be allowed to play their already graduated Seniors and maybe a couple of their college lacrosse stars to make things more interesting.

But in the interest of fair play and not to sound unsportsmanlike ...congratulations to the 20-years-olds of Taft for their victory over the young teenagers of McD.

McD brought back their '20s. SJC only had 2 '21s, but the goalie and G'Town commit would have helped against Taft for sure.

Is the 2023 Crabs their only competitive age group in Bmore?

Let not pretend that the 2022s aren't a very good team. You can't win them all, but they give the local teams all they can handle and then some. It was only a few short weeks ago when the Crabs beat 91 Fire/MD/Millon.

If you consider being the 4th to 6th best team in the Baltimore Washington region, then yes they're competitive.
