I think the left wing fascists keep posting about closing things down. The majority want to play and travel. By continuing to post dribble about killing everyone doesn't help your cause. I think we are going to buy-cott instead of boycott.

Yes, yes Buy More lacrosse! That is the answer! Lordy, this must be club director!

With Maryland now a quarantine state, wow what a fiasco. That was seriously pushing the limits to try to keep that tournament scheduled knowing the day to day changes with the quarantine states.

All the statistics, data, tv news, office theory, mean nothing. These clubs should of called it a day back in June, or just stayed local. But all the crazy parents wanted to resume like nothing happened. Next, the way things are transpiring at this juncture schools will be delayed in opening . People refuse, or are unable to see the Big picture. Majority of circumstances are often taken personally without making an educated decision. Which leaves club owners open to exploit parents short comings and take full advantage of the opportunity to make money.

So its the crazy parents that is driving the directors? Its not the directors driving this madness as not to return funds to the masses? Every player and most parents want to see the boys play. Dodging all these quarantines, enough already. Call it a day, regroup and shoot for 2021. Everyone is spinning wheels.

See you at practice tomorrow! My son can't wait to get out there.

I can BS on you pal. Your son knows deep down inside that it's notIntelligent to be having team practices and tournaments this summer. He wants to be at the beach relaxing and he wants to get back to school and sports in the fall. Unfortunately he's got a parent pushing for summer lax and it's just going to help further mess things up for the kids this fall. Penny wise pound foolish my friend.

Even if the kid wants to play, I get it. But that is why they are called "kids". They cannot make important, rational decisions at this age. But then again, neither can their parents.... And if the kid is telling the parent how shizzle is going to go down then the parent needs to get their house in order. #parenting for dummies

They continue to close down states for travel and cases are rising real close to home. Why are we letting ourselves be put at risk? Because of no refunds? because we’re drinking the cool aid? Shut it down and resume when we have the virus under control. Yeah it’s inconvenient as well because we are typically done with the season and enjoying our summers about now but lets be realistic about what’s happening and make descions that prove we’re being cautious and smart.

I told my kid what we were going to do and NOT going to do. And we were not going to run behind a clueless club director, remaining on calling daily, to informing us on time and location of a meaningless out of state tournament in the middle of the week. Let alone still conducting practices during the afternoons on the weekends, in late July and August.

So NAL is now in middle of nowhere PA. Can't we just schedule games vs each other or does that make too much sense rather than drive 3 hours to play teams in our backyards.

Again, ALL FAULT is on the parents. They don't have to bring their kids. THEY WANT TO! They choose to. It isnt on the clubs at this point. If you want to put a drug dealer out of business you stop buying from them. Want Lax clubs to cut the BS? Then Stop bringing the kids to practice and meaningless out of state lacrosse dances. Its simple. IT ON THE PARENTS! But just think: When Fall Lax gets shut down entirely because these boneheads keep spreading C-19 at least Lil Johnny will have scored that life changing goal, across state lines, at some bush league Lax jamboree in 95 degeree heat. Best part: Kid will have forgotten all about it on that long ride home while your seconding guessing your decision to attend in the first place. Sheep! Baaaaaaahhhhhhh! LAX ON!!!!!!!!!

No we can't play games in our backyards because New York is not allowing lacrosse games/tournaments/scrimmages at this point - that is why all of these tournaments are being moved out of state - what people don't realize is that New York is also not allowing people to travel (to any state - regardless of if it is on the quarantine list or not) to participate in any sports tournaments

For “non-contact lacrosse”, games, meets, matches, scrimmages are allowed in the State of New York. There is no reason why girl’s teams need to play out of state. Team 91, Legacy, Elevate and Empire are asking parents to willfully ignore NY State guidelines and play out of state. Top Guns, YJ and Jesters appear to be following the guidelines. Parents are free to choose whether to willfully ignore the guidelines or not. It’s that simple. Freedom of choice. Maybe this list will help you choose where you want your daughter to play next year. Maybe look at FLG, Bandits, and others too to see what they are doing this summer.

Where is it posted that travel out of state is not allowed? Just curious. People have attached links from newspaper articles, etc, but those are not official. Is there a NY state website that states that teams are not allowed to travel out of state?

Just go to Tourney Machine. Clubs include; ECE, 91, FLG, Turtles. FLG is leading the charge sanctioning out of state tournaments. The others are asking their parents to ignore NYS guidelines regarding COVID.

Lax parents are not the brightest of primates walking the face of this earth. The clubs along with the parents traveling out of state participating in tournaments are all subjected to fines. Legacy, 91, ECE, FLG, Turtles.

That tournament was moved to PA. Realistically, how many more events can the club directors put on at the pace states are turning up on the quarantine list.

"Competitive tournaments of multiple games, meets, matches, or scrimmages requiring travel" listed as prohibited for high risk sports like lacrosse

The link was provided in response to someone asking about out of state travel, not fines. I know, reading can be hard. On page one of the guidelines under Type of Play Allowed, there are checkmarks next to things allowed, and X's next to things not allowed. In the not allowed category is "Competitive tournaments of multiple games, meets, matches, or scrimmages requiring travel."

The fact that you are wasting your time on this lame attempt at humor means your kid's team is not playing and you're resentful or you are having serious doubts about holding your kid out of the tournaments.
My son's team is playing and everyone having fun.

Stop!!!!!!!! LoL!!!! The Red Solo Cup Coward is great, one of them obnoxious entitled jerks gave me a free Yeti cooler when he forgot to load it in his mechanically challenged Range Rover and barely missed backing over it after acting like a clown all day at a past tournament. The coolers great keeps my bait frozen on the overnights.

So what happens now, we went from asking for refunds to soon making a payment for the 2020-2021 season? And what exactly are we getting, more of the same nonsense?

You are not supposed to leave unless it is an emergency. And if you do you are supposed to self quarantine upon your return. Hearing CT is about to pull the plug as the cat is out of the bag.
