Has anybody figured out that Haugen is not the A team ..and only 2 kids were A players and still almost beat Legacy ,,, How many A players do you think is fair? B means B. And two A players were top guys. His face off kid hardly ever loses. Keep telling yourself it is ok, and that this practice is fair. Express parent here.... Let me squash the debate... Last weeks tournament did not include the top 3 attackmen, top 3 middies, or top 3 poles. Many of them were in casual clothes on the sideline. Those 9 mentioned above are only playing AA tournaments. Yes the fogo played as he plays at every opportunity. There was a true 2026 who is on the 2025 team who was brought in for the last game. Every other kid on the field was either listed as a B player, or part of the 12 (7 poles / 5 middies) kids who are playing all tournaments in the fall as CoachC figures out how to create the divide for spring amongst them. Ahh....yeah, so exactly what I said. Two AA players on the B Team. FOGO and the 2026 who plays 2025. Duh. No debate to squash. So wait - 34 kids 9 kids just watching on sideline Leaves 23 kids 2 kids were fogo and attackman who were defenitely A team kids Leaves 21 kids Then there is 12 kids (7 poles/5 middies) who are playing A and B tournaments. Who may be A or B team players for the spring and summer depending on what CoachC decides. Well if half of those become A and half B then the B team would only have 15 kids which is not a team. Seems like all except one have to stay with B team to have a full team. Unless CoachC intends to always have A players coming down to play with the B team. Which is the issue Why though would 9 boys and there parents have nothing better to do than come and watch a tournament where they were not going to play at all? Really? They dont have better things to do on their weekends?? And if 11 boys were defenitely A team kids (9 on sideline and fogo and attackman) And there are at least 6 boys on A not at the tourney (40 boys registered on CoachC/Haugen team - 34 boys at tourney) Then clearly the few out of the 12 at the Columbus tourney who may make the A team are considered by CoachC the bottom for the A team. So even if they make it, they wont see any real playing time. Do you think those 12 kids going to all 5 tourneys realise that? That they are never going to be the top or even 2nd string of the A team since they are being evaluated as borderline whether they are A team players at all?? Somehow I dont think they get that? I bet you CoachC has worded it very differently to them.

Wish we knew how many people realize that when "fraud" & "get your money back" are thrown on here actually know that it's really other lacrosse clubs/directors trying to smear other clubs to recruit player/parents. I would hope parents aren't making judgments by what they read here. Hopefully the judgements come by what is seen on the field. Everyone relax, adjustments will be made for tournament brackets. All summer long you read here about "who got better, "who added", "what players moved". Sometimes it takes the fall to realize how a team changed and how competitive they are or aren't.

Does it really matter what Express does with these 40 kids? They all train together and the teams are fluid. CoachC can pick who he wants to play where he wants so get over it. They had 100+ kids tryout and field three teams at this age so clearly not hurting for players. If you are in that group and feel misled...stop paying and find a new team. If you are in the group and are unhappy but staying...stop airing your dirty laundry. Kids improve by practicing with these coaches and the top level kids at a high pace. Most of the 40 on the team most likely are a top players in town ball and should get plenty of field time there, if not you're on the wrong team and they are just taking your money. Lets break it down for the simple minded: 1. Yes it matters what he does when he is registering teams in both A and B brackets. Other teams register them in brackets based on the teams level of play. And expect to have a fair shot in that bracket. Registering a team you created with your lower level players in the B bracket but plugging in a bunch of A players from your higher level team is cheating. Plain and simple. 2. Why doesnt he play both in the A bracket? That's what he promised these parents, that they were getting an A team. Why? Because he knows he placed kids on the team that were not A players. Lying just to make a buck. Or $4500. 3. I know kids from B teams , and not even high level B teams, who are not even close to A players who got offers for CoachC A team. Some stayed with their original team, because they could tell something didnt smell right. Every kid at that tryout got an offer. For this team that was to be split. Or the lower level team. But not everyone accepts. Some people are not fooled. Or some just tried out to see if they made it. 4. Sure people improve by practicing with high level kids. But kids want to play too. You practice to play. Not to sit around and watch others play. 5. People have a right to voice their complaints wherever they want. So the only person who should be shutting their mouth is you. 6. And if CoachC isn't giving what he promised these people have a right to their money back. Not just being told to stop paying and leave. Can you comprehend that buttheadhole. You're an angry elf. Calm down fella. Great response buttheadhole. Clearly that's the best you can do, since your limited intelligence cant even understand when its broken down for you. Poor little guy. Nothing better to do than get angry about a response on the internet. Your son is not a good lacrosse player by the way. I'm sure he regrets having you as a father.

Cograts to Legacy! They won and that seems to be forgotten in all of the Express chatter about how good or bad or wrong the coach was. It's very obvious that hoarding kids will keep those kids away from other clubs that they compete against. This has nothing to do with development or playing time. The club business model has become get very good as early as possible, hoard kids in the middle, and who cares late. By getting good early you get a huge bump in your tryouts. Every lacrosse parent who has no idea wants their child to be on the best team because their kid is the best and THAT CLUB won the MOST LAST YEAR so MY KID needs to play there because they are the best. Presto, 100 kids are at the next tryout, they keep 60, sell a song and then by the time parents realize that they are playing the chimes in the orchestra the kids are in 7th or 8th grade and it's over. The result is mediocre lacrosse all around because quality kids are not playing and not getting better while the 2 or 3 clubs that hoarded players and pray on parents go to the World Series and get to start the cycle all over again. As a Dad that's been through it all I can say is this. Place your son where he will play, have a chance to compete with his team, and you as parents enjoy your surroundings. In the end the club ride can be a blessing, a curse, or nothing at all. Your boys are young kids and soon they will be young men and might choose a different path. Make sure your aspirations don't cloud the fact that they have other interests, other talents, and just might like being your little boys for a few months longer.

Comical statement to say that without 1 kid that 3 teams would be in trouble. You’re clueless [/quote You’re clueless. Bet you’ve never seen him in a game. Stay on the mid-Atlantic thread. So the team Legacy beat was Haugen Orange, and the team in the B bracket for this weekend’s tourney is Haugen black. Do they rotate colors as they do players between teams?

Originally they had Haugen Orange in A bracket and Haugen Black in AA bracket. Looks like CoachC must be getting some pushback from parents about the Orange team being a B team, so he has moved it into the AA bracket with Black.

They should’ve jumped to the A bracket if they were dominating like that than the a bracket would’ve been good competition

The FOGO kid is amazing. I saw him last weekend and he won EVERY race off with ease. Not an express parent here. Don’t think you know how good he is until you see him play. He is 26 age group and he is a peanut. Just great, natural technique.

I bet they go home knowing a lot more of what they need to work on than if their goal was to try to win b bracket a fall tournament. No, not a Rush parent...

Putting them in A bracket just demoralised a frustrates players if they are not at that level. They would learn more from being at B bracket and isolating their weaknesses in that lower bracket and working up front there.

We’ll see how the LI teams fare against some real competition. Next up, Tigers XXVI, BBL Black and Primetime. I’m guessing they won’t fare too well. Those are 3 of the better teams from this summer. I’m guessing bottom two in Black division.

The "B" team is new this year. I watched them play Legacy last weekend and they definitely belong in any bracket that Legacy plays in. Not sure what that might be. Someone mentioned that Igloo played this same team and beat them 6-0. So do they belong in an AA bracket or A bracket? JMO

Can we stop the rumors and nonsense ,,Legacy beat Exspress B ,,yes there STUD fogo was helping a true 2026 there to play with 2025 ,,B TEAM !! I WAS THERE ,,Legacy would loose by 10 to Exspress 2026 with these A TEAM,,,ENOUGH omg It was not 2025 B team. It was 2026 2nd team who is supposed to be an A team. Or that's what CoachC told everyone when they were offered a spot and took their money. People accepted the spot thinking they were to be on one of 2 A teams. So what you are saying is nonsense. But CoachC didnt clearly split these kids. And are having kids shift back and forth between the 2 teans. Yet he is registering the 2nd team in B divisions.

I didn't mean B. I meant 2nd team. Whatever that may be. So if their top team is AA then this should be an A team. If the top team is A then this is a B. They're definitely not equivalent.

We’ll see how the LI teams fare against some real competition. Next up, Tigers XXVI, BBL Black and Primetime. I’m guessing they won’t fare too well. Those are 3 of the better teams from this summer. I’m guessing bottom two in Black division. What tourney is that? Tristan Octoberfest 10/26/19. On Tourney Machine. No schedule but click Standings under the 2026AA division. CoachC is playing an angle for the Tristar tournament as well. He has an AA bracket and an A bracket. ( Which is just a sales tactic. The AA bracket is A and the A bracket is really B. Typical car salesman sales methods). It appears he registered both Haugen orange and Gaugen black (his A team of 40-50 kids he supposedly split into 2 teams) both in the AA bracket. Except when you look farther in tourney at tristar you will see he breaks down the AA bracket into 2 other brackets. The Black bracket and the Orange bracket. He has put 6 teams in the Black bracket: haugen Black, BBL Black, Express North, Primetime, 91 Orange Storm, and Tiget XXVI Then in the Orange bracket: Haugen Orange, S2S, Rush Force, and Outlaws In put all the weakest teams who are really more B teams in the bracket against Haugen Orange. This way Haugen Orange has no reak competition and doesnt get demolished by teams like Primetime, Tigers, 91, ect... Essentially he created a B bracket inside the AA bracket to make Gaugen Orange look good. Ridiculous. Typical switch and bait technique just to make it seem like his 2nd team is a high level A team.

There is no such thing as AA and A. That is just sales BS. In any bracket there are stronger teams and weaker teams. People who registered and paid into the 2026 Exoress team with CoachC were told their kid was going to be on a top level A team. That's not the case. As a prior poster with a kid on the top team said CoachC put the best kids on one team. And he is supplementing the other team with some of those kids so he can win games and make it appear like the other team is an A team, when in actuality it's just a B team. A good B team probably. But still a B team.
