There are lots of dense posts on here but this one is up there. Are you going to war? Will the kids be armed? Is that what you guys do in MD try and bully teams?

Why dont we let 11 year olds have some fun playing lacrosse. Dont take that away from them

Of course he does. Not sure why he finds a need to sneak around with a team full of holdbacks . We all know the drill

My son was on the team and it was a hand picked team from over 8 different teams. There were no tryouts, so how can anyone get cut?

None of this matters. The club model is failing and people are going back to rec.. They have had enough of spending thousands of dollars with terrible coaching.

That is because club has been diluted with rec level teams calling themselves a club team. Proof of this is the forty 2026 club teams in 5 divisions of the HOCO spring league.

Club should go back to just High School teams... The money grab and claim that the talent is better, the facilities are better, and the player development is better is all BS... It's all a pack of lies and no one cares who won a 6th grade HOCO championship or some other dense tournament.....Parents are getting smarter and the lies these club directors are telling people is all bunk....

100% agree. Even the most Elite teams don't develop kids either. Just recruit best talent each year.

Oh, don’t you worry, they are proud.
One dad says D1 coaches have been talking to him about his kid since 3rd grade. Ok. Whatever.

If your kids are as dense as you it must explain why they get rolled on the field all spring and summer

LMAO you sir are completely delusional and I feel sorry for you son when he ends up quitting the sports before HS due to you unrealistic expectations.

How many of these elite level teams are ok with their players being elite level multi sport athletes? How many of these kids can juggle playing elite level club lacrosse and another elite level club sport? It seems like kids are so specialized now...limiting themselves to one sport early on. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

I need a board like this for Maryland youth soccer.

Jealous and envious it is not your son. Mine was looked at during Regular season, not summer. D1 coach walks by and says that kid looks good. Pretty sure that is code for " commitment letter coming " .

Coaches love having multi-sport athletes - lax is spring and summer and that's in-season

Football and wrestling dont interfere with lacrosse because they are fall and winter sports.

Any high school or college coach always asks about grades first and what other sports do you play

My son plays on one of the Elite HOCO teams. I believe every kid on the team plays either soccer or football in the fall. Most play basketball and a few wrestle in the winter. None are Lacrosse only.
