The Newsday rankings are comical. Smithtown East crushes West Islip yet they are at the bottom of the list and WI remains overrated based on reputation. Really? C'mon man.

The Newsday rankings are comical. St.Anthony's teams in all sports are often ranked higher than they should be, but really who has Smithtown East beaten other than the so-called overrated West Islip team that put them into the top 10 ? The Newsday rankings are comical. Smithtown East crushes West Islip yet they are at the bottom of the list and WI remains overrated based on reputation. Really? C'mon man.

farmingdale is quiet this year...but I think they will win counties this year, strong team but quiet... lots of talent and young potential on the team watch out for them in 2015-2017 strong 8th grade program as well Farmingdale has a very strong defense but they can't score or win face offs. Future is bright though with best attack man being a freshman and starting goalie being a sophomore.

In addition to the Manhasset upset of MSG Varsity #4 Garden City, Yorktown upset #1 Chaminade today, 12-8. Two of Long Island's top seeds were upset today in very good matches as we head into the first week of May this week.

Long Beach will take GC. 10-8. Wow! Have these words ever been spoken (or even quietly considered as even remotely plausible) before? That's what 3 losses will do. Now everybody's jumping in and kicking the bully when he's down. How the mighty have fallen.
