What an stunad! Madlax just beat the hawks in the finals of Naptown 10-2. Do we even need to talk about the BBL score or the tristate score of 15-1 for madlax Vs WP at 8-1? stunad...you guys have been avoiding Madlax for years now and you and the entire team know it! You guys don’t want anything to do with Madlax! It would be ugly, very ugly! Mad Lax was a different team every time it goes out. The Naptown and NLF teams were stacked all-star teams with kids from all over the country. They even called themselves the "National Team". Different teams than the one that played in HoCo or even NAL. Teams like BBL, Hawks, Looneys, 91 MD, (or even 91 NY for that matter). form in August of the prior year and essentially stay the same all year so its completely disingenuous to make any argument comparing the scores of the Mad Lax version that was put on the field in either Naptown, Millon or NLF. The Coach/Program Director has created a high school All-Star model (just like Dukes, Sweetlax, etc.) so he can go and blow out other middle school teams that were simply not built to compete against that. Total lack of integrity move by 91 leaving NLF (particularly given the hold back nonsense about integrity spewing from their parents all year), but no one should go defending or sticking up for Mad Lax which from the owner/coach on down conducts itself both on the field and in the way it organizes its teams in a manner that lacks sportsmanship and takes away the competitive balance from the end of summer tourneys.

I am just wondering what does it take to tire of the virtue signaling. Yes WP is the most virtuous Norman Rockwell team ever assembled doing it the "right" way. Madlax are evil cheaters even though no rules exist to suggest otherwise. Different approaches same result whether you like it or not.

You guys don’t want anything to do with Madlax! It would be ugly, very ugly! Madlax and others like them are not technically cheating, and with that we can all agree to disagree. Let's get that out the way. But Madlax must also understand that their reputation will get their due vile criticism. A perfect example is on social media, where grown men are arguing with players on that team. USCL insta post congratulating Madlax's NLF win drew comment threads that you could have just copied and pasted from this forum. And they have to constantly delete negative comments. I captured one of them before it was deleted. Here is an adult's comment: "@person Even if this tournament bracket was a "Rising 8th geade division", everyone knows Madlax/Madlax Nationals 2024 Team has several "Reclassified" and or "Double Reclassified" players who essentially belong in the 9th and or 10th grade (2022-2023). There's zero argument to that point! So, playing true 7th graders (2024's) is kinda like playing aginst your younger brother's team and celebrating that you won when you're 2 or 3 years older than him. I challenge any team(s) that are playing with "Hold backs" to play age base and then celebrate after a win. Until such time, I respect the kids who play up and challenge themselves to get better!" That comment was swiftly removed after posting.

Did anyone go to the Rebels tryout? How were the numbers? Any new talent? Stop posting MB to your own club. It's an embarrassment to your salty reputation.

Did anyone go to the Rebels tryout? How were the numbers? Any new talent? Talent was impressive What's not to like? 1 team at each age, no daddy ball. Surprised more and more aren't taking a look. How many top teams have Daddy coaches and all their PAL buddies' kids crowding up the roster? All the B (A) teams at top clubs are pure money grabs. 91 has 2 teams that went 0-6 at their last tournament, which was run by 91, of course. Do you realize the organization charges those teams to attend? If they don't win a game, 91 should give them a refund.

Who are you and why are you making on point statements in this cesspool forum. lol. You've been paying close attention so kudos for your post. I've witnessed this first hand at the Millon Nat'l Championship. Madlax's team that Sunday was different from Sat. They brought in the big dogs on Sunday (players not present Sat). Our team was rooting for BL who were playing great and they got smoked by Madlax. I have no doubt that BL would have played in a competitive game vs Saturday's Madlax version but alas, it was a total waste. The legendary Mark Millon himself should be ashamed for allowing such blatant unsportsmanship to happen in his watch. Ofcourse you're also on 1000% point like everyone else, with 91 leaving the tournament.

One of their best Offensive players kids will jump ship this year and they make tons of promises with no action just like the old outlaws. Buyer be ware on this daddy coached team.

OK, let's set the record straight, for ALL you HAPPY haters out there. The Pack won every 2024 game they played this year except for one meaningless game, which was lost in OT. No disrespect to Eclipse, as they are one of the very few top AA teams, and on age, too. But, the Pack went from the climax of their youth careers, playing before 4,000 people and on national TV, to a completely meaningless cheater tournament in 95 degree heat, with nothing left to achieve. Plain and simple, the kids were spent. The Pack had very, very few games this year that were even remotely close. They have been the #1 ranked team in both 13U and 2024 rankings all year long. They achieved this with one gigantic target on their back, as being THE team to beat on the 2024 grade level. They did all this with every player being on age. Is there any team, anywhere, that can make that claim? I think not.
As far as the NLF tournament, the directors notified all teams that were not in contention for a championship, that they could elect not to play their remaining games, due to the heat advisory. There was no mention of the word "forfeit". With nothing left to play for, it was assumed that all such teams would elect not to play, given the extreme, unsafe conditions. With all that said, it was a most memorable and extraordinary year for our boys, to say the least. Now, it's on to next year.
That's a bold face lie.....AND YOU KNOW IT......... No other team left, there were many teams that came expecting to be in the playoffs and they all stayed and played through to Sunday. - The WP coaches should be fired!!! This is your tournament, you set up a powder puff schedule and lost. All of the other kids have been playing in the heat this summer (a lot in Denver too)... You just got beaten - We need to remember that they missed their game on Sunday too, which left parents having to PAY for an extra night at the tournament.... There is no recovering that wasted money Someone else said it..... Like the Madlax coach who messed up big time, who now in all fairness, seems to be a decent guy but we remember what he did..... The name Wolfpack will always be remembered for being a low class set of loosers... WP parents, next year (next month) when they start dropping your smaller boys to get bigger bodies please stay away from my team.... PS.... look at what happened with the Bandits.... its coming, because they are needed to compete Let's cut the mindless, juvenile garbage posts for just five minutes, and look at the cold hard facts, straight from Tourney Machine. The last time Madlax played teams that the Pack has played recently, the scores... straight out of tourney machine... were as follows: Madlax - 7 vs Hawks - 5 (NAL Invitational) Madlax - 4 vs LI Express - 2 (NAL Invitational) Madlax - 8 vs Express North - 5 (NLF) The last time the Pack played these three teams, the score was as follows: WP - 7 vs Hawks - 3 (NLF) WP - 6 vs LI Express - 1 (NLF) *(Express grade-based team, not WSYL age-based team) WP - 8 vs Express North - 3 (NLF) *(Express North grade-based team, not WSYL age-based team) In every single game, the point differential was greater when the Pack played the same teams that Madlax did. In total the WP goal differential was 14 to Madlax's 7, or WP had double the goal differential that ML had. Now, the facts don't support all of the Madlax mindless, juvenile posts, now do they? Any logical person (that can add!) would look at the data and conclude that the far younger, completely on-age, guest-less WP is the better team. There is just no way to come to any other conclusion, based on the data. Hence their #1 ranking for the entire year. So the Pack won't be taking any of your advice, and go down the empty, moral-less road of holdback heaven, which is the same advice that you have been giving every year. Every year you say that WP can't compete against teams like Madlax that are two years older, without adding holdbacks. And every single year, you are wrong. Yeah, I think we'll pass on that advice again this year. No need for inferior, older players, just to get their size advantage for a couple of years. We'll just go with the on-age talented kids. It's served us pretty well. Mad lax will undoubtedly keep doing what they do, which is play with a team that is 100% holdbacks, double boldbacks, guest players from other 2023 teams, and players from their own 2023 team... all conveniently confirmed by your own players, via social media (those darn kids!). The Pack, on the other hand, will keep doing what they do, and that's winning a whole lot of lacrosse games, with no holdbacks and no guest players, but a whole bunch of talented players and coaches. scores mean noting. No shot at beating Madlax. WP will be on a steady decline going forward!!!.

Oh, I was at the tournament, and watched the Pack pack it up and go home. A 1-0 loss is a forfeit. Wonder how US Club Lacrosse will factor that into the rankings. Either way, the Pack won't be #1. After last weekend, they shouldn't even be in the top 8. Real solid performances against Lax Mafia and 4 Leaf NH. Guess the boys were tired? Couldn't have been too tired if one of the Pack came to Naptown to scout and watch face-offs. That didn't turn out too well. WolfPackUp and Go Home!

The guy must have been a very bad athlete as a kid and is obviously trying to relive his childhood again, only hoping it turns out better this time around. But to obsess like this is nuts. Must be his only purpose in life. It's a 24 hour a day obsession with this guy. Just ignore him. If he doesn't get any attention, he will go elsewhere.

Nobody is going to play lacrosse in 95 degree heat and high humidity unless they absolutely have to. In fact nobody should be playing in that kind of heat at all. That's just common sense, which is not all that common on this thread.

You total stunad! On Sunday, Madlax destroyed True Illinois, 11-5, who beat Eclipse 3-1. The same Eclipse team that beat the mighty, mighty Wolfpack 5-4 the day before. Those are the cold hard facts, straight from Tourney Machine. Sure, Wolfpack won the age-based World Series....congrats, but then they turned around and couldn't even make the top 8 at NLF. Oh, and then the Wolfpack lost to NXT 1-0. Two losses in two days. I don't think Madlax has lost in over a year. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Wolfpackup and leave! If you think that WP lost to NXT by a score of 1-0, then you weren't at the tournament. And you have not been paying attention, at all. Based on that comment, you aren't even a Madlax parent or child. Which leads to the question, what kind of person stalks an anonymous board, with no association? I can't imagine how bad this guys life is, spending every day and night attempting to get attention on this thread, just as if he were a 7 year old child. "Mommy, pay attention to me!" "Look at me!" "Watch me, mommy!" Dude, do your self a favor, get a hobby. whats funny is how much you are involved in this site. think u need to find a new hobby DUDE!!! Same Madlax holdback kid. I sure hope my boy is smarter than this kid when he’s 15. Starting to think these MD holdbacks were held back for more than just lacrosse. Yikes!

Trashiest collection of coaches and parents I’ve ever come across. And I’ve come across a lot. The Madlax organization epitomizes all that is wrong with club lacrosse. Poster child for deceit and outright cheating. Disgusting.

It’s not called the cheater championship” for nothing.

Did anyone go to the Rebels tryout? How were the numbers? Any new talent? Stop posting MB to your own club. It's an embarrassment to your salty reputation. Funny they make the same post each year. Honestly Brennan is a clown and all the BS they promised that the Rebels was going to be, fell flat. The parents were miserable as usual on that sideline by the end. They called me this year for my son to come and try out I laughed at the poor guy who called..

I never understood how parents can gloat when their older kids beat younger kids. What am I missing. I have 3 athletic kids, I’m thinking about the them beating younger kids in sports, that thought doesn’t do it for me.

Nobody is going to play lacrosse in 95 degree heat and high humidity unless they absolutely have to. In fact nobody should be playing in that kind of heat at all. That's just common sense, which is not all that common on this thread. So what you are saying is that if things don't go your way and there may be some challenges in front of you go ahead and quit? Funny that the vast majority of teams that were not in contention for the championship found a way to play, nothing but respect for those teams that endured a little bit of hardship and kept competing. Perhaps some teams actually enjoy playing the sport and competing no matter what the potential outcome may be. Now let's say for the sake of argument that it was too hot and humid for these really special kids to play in the afternoon on Saturday why not go back to the hotel, hit the pool and come out on Sunday morning when their final game was to be played. It was not too hot on Sunday morning to play. Reality is that 91 committed to play in a grade based tournament and then quit after losing. You can come up with all the excuses and justifications you want but end of the day they quit. This was not done to them, they made a conscious decision to quit and disrespected those teams and kids that were expecting to have additional games.

And why exactly should they do that? Madlax does not play in any age based leagues or tournaments. All the kids on the team are graduating in 2024. There is no cheating. I actually agree that at the youth level sports should be age based but that is not the direction the DMV and a majority of the regional/national tournaments have gone. What I find most amusing about this whole thing is that everyone knows certain teams/regions have holdbacks and then constantly complain about it. As someone posted earlier if you are a strictly age based team then play in age based tournaments. If you think there is a safety issue then don't play in grade based tournaments. I am guessing everyone involved would be much happier if age based teams only played in age based tournaments. The reality is that there is no real need to play outside of your region at this age and 2024 rankings have no real relevancy.

This is 7th grade lacrosse. Just realize that, and enjoy it. This whole thread is nuts! Not one bit of it will matter when they enter their sophomore year. So many kids who were on the World Series of Lacrosse teams disappear when the recruiting begins, and even more disappear after college ball starts. Get some perspective.
