Need more age based play. WSYL was a great event. Super teams with single and double hold backs proves little. Would love to see more age or birth year based tournaments pop up. Way more fun and tighter competition overall. Congrats to WP and Taz. Well deserved. No doubt about this! The cheating is getting worse every season it seems like. More age based play would level the playing field & stop the cheating. Stop using kids from older grades to compete in 2024.

I for one will be requesting that our team not go to Madlax tournaments next season such as NAL bec it's pointless and we have to stop the madness. And for the ones that they show up in, let's all agree that their games do not count and crown the true non-cheater champion. Let them keep their empty trophies and t-shirts.

It's over the top ridiculousness. Correct. Win at ALL costs. Win the 2024 bracket with all 2023 and 2022 age players. What the heck is the point of that!!! Club youth lacrosse is one big joke!

Madlax 2024 won Naptowm. Deal with it. NOBODY cares about a bunch of cheating slimes winning a 2024 bracket with all 2023 and 2022 age kids! Go win your 2023 or 2022 bracket and come back to us. Until then, nobody cares about a bunch of sorry players that aren’t good enough to play with kids their own age. Absolutely pathetic bunch of losers, from coaches to players to parents. All person of the earth and not a true “good” lacrosse player in the bunch.

This is the year that all the 8th graders in MD private schools repeat the 8th grade. What’s that mean? Well we already know that basically all the MD rosters are 80%+ holdbacks. They will now have a whole lot of new holdbacks to pick from. So they will be upgrading their holdbacks. If you think the MD holdback scenario was bad before, wait until next year! A whole new level of cheating person.

MD teams have always done this, you just didn’t know it. Having said that, it will get even worse next year as all of the 8th grade private kids repeat 8th grade. That’s the year when a ton of kids will do it.

Congrats to the pack. I hope the long time parents said thank you to their replacements. At least the old pack fogo who was upgraded made the all world team. I wonder how many new upgrades come this year. Attack seems most at risk. Ahhh yes. It's still all doom and gloom for WP, from our expert BOTC lacrosse prognosticator (ie stunad). Same guy who proclaimed that WP could not compete in the WSYL without adding older 2023's, like the rest of the teams. Same guy who said that WP couldn't compete with the holdback teams, without adding holdbacks. Well the Pack didn't change a thing, one team for the cheater teams and same team for the 2023 teams... all 2024 on age. Same ole same ole. Pal you are batting all of a big zero! Now pedal you're BS somewhere else. Didn't change one thing? Same ole team? They took the top middle and goalie from legacy and top player from express. They ended up as top 2 scorers, face off kid plus starting goalie. I would argue that is a big change. Good for them for recruiting to upgrade as it was clear after last year they weren't tops anymore. Stunad, YOU ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT A YEAR AGO??? Are you so disappointed in your kids team, and soooooo jealous of the Pack, that you are still talking about what amounts to a team from more than a year ago? Bro, this is 2019! We're basically at tryout for the 2019/2020 team, and you are now talking about what amounts to a team from almost two years ago!! Listen up. A year ago, the Pack had a tryout like every other club team. From that tryout they created their 2018/2019 Wolfpack team, just like every other team. That's the team!! Not talking about the team from a year ago, two years ago, or 6 years ago. Talking about the 2018/2019 team. Got it?! The point is, the team never changed after that. No additional players for WSYL. No holdbacks added for grade based tournaments. Never a guest player. Understand? There is no other team in 2024 that can make that statement, anywhere. And as far as your stats go, not sure how you have them, since you are not part of the WP team, so you have only seen one or possibly two WP games out of how many?????? And no one actually even keeps stats, as you know. But I will tell you this... the strength of the Pack... IS THE PACK. There are no stars. Goals for the season are spread throughout the offense more evenly than any other team, I can guarantee you. Every offensive player is a threat to score, that's why the offense can't be stopped. Completely unselfish And that is the secret to the Packs success. There is not just one or two biggie players running to the goal, that makes them successful. Try to lock off some players, as some teams have done, and see what happens. You won't lock of for very long, since that results in easy goals for the Pack. Did you see the WSYL qualifier games? Where did the goals come from in every single one of those games? If you know the answer to that question, then you know what I am saying is 100% factual. A team at this level can't be successful with one or two, 3rd grade mentality, biggie players running to the goal. If that were possible, then we wouldn't be having this conversation and BBL would be the WSYL championship winner. But that didn't happen, because the Pack is the consummate "team". Hope your kid is able to get on a better team this year. My guess is he is a pretty good player, and you feel that you have been wronged in some way. Bring him down to the Pack tryout and see what happpens. The disappointment/jealousy must be very hard for you to live with, obviously. wow. Hit a nerve I guess. Listen, be proud you are one of the originals but please go thank your coaches for adding your top two scorers plus goalie. PS the stats for the wsyl are online. Sorry your kid had 4 points. Pretty good idea who you are but honestly could be several of you attack daddies.(or mommies) You are reading the stats of 13 year old lacrosse players???? C'mon brah are you serious. OK you read it on WSYL. Do you know what we read about your son??? NOTHING

But also include the team photo so when your top 2 players who scored all your points are on TV again in college your boys can run from the basement apartment to their old room and remember when...

Hmmmmm..... same guy who has been posting negative garbage about the pack for exactly a year now. Hmmmm... first he said the entire team would be taken over by big holdbacks and none of the “original” players would see the field. That didn’t happen. Then he said that Pack couldn’t compete and win the WSYL without bringing in a bunch of 2023 kids. That didn’t happen either. Then he said that Pack couldn’t compete against top holdback teams without bringing in a bunch of holdbacks. That didn’t happen. Why would one person continually post negative garbage about the pack, for exactly a year now? Hmmm. The pieces of the puzzle are all fitting together nicely. This little spiteful person was a member of the pack until exactly one year ago, which is exactly when these posts began. Right after tryout. Let’s see, who could that be?? Hmmmm. Hey little man, how did that move work out for you and your “little” kid? I take it, not very well. Yeah, not very well at all! Turns out the only kid that was lacking playing time was yours, isn’t that right my little x-pack friend. And you apparently don’t enjoy the beat downs that your kids team gets when he plays the pack. Yeah, that must be down right embarrassing for you, especially considering his lack of playing time. So all this Pack garbage that you spu, about players not playing and being replaced by new players is really a manifestation of exactly what happened to your “little” kid, on his new (bad) team... lack of playing time. Ok. We get it now. So what happens for next year? Can’t come back to the pack. Everyone is leaving the team that your kid is on now. Where to go?? Guess you are really in a pile of Laxx, huh?

If they don’t make finals it’s because they are playing older kids. This is such a notIntelligent tiresome conversation. My son is 13. If he beats or dominates an 11 or 12 year old, it doesn’t feel rite. He is supposed to win.Beating kids your own age or older is impressive. That’s just my opinion. I never was able to understand such a dumb argument. Would you people brag if your sons high school team, beat a girls high school team. Play kids your own age, win, then pound your chest.

Tiny kids because they are proper age. Aren’t 14 and 15 year olds supposed to be bigger, faster, stronger than 12 and 13 year olds. What’s incredible to 95 percent of the people, is that this is even a discussion. I can’t waste 1 more second on this dumb topic. Later.

Not all 12 and 13 year olds are tiny. My 13 year old is 6' and 155 lbs. I know this is a difficult concept for you to follow. Just because he is big, doesn't make him 14 or 15.

Play kids your own age, win, then pound your chest. get use to it. you can not make that excuse for your tiny kids. Its grade based. If your the best come and get it. Unfortunately, nlf IS grade based, I agree with you there. But it IS cheating if you have 2023 players in a '24 team. That's the issue and it's outrageous that there is no way to police or enforce the rule.

The guy said your tiny team. On average by far, a 12 year old, 13 year old team will be smaller than a 14 and 15 year old team. Generally speaking, do you understand. Obviously Shaquille O’Neil at the age of 10 looked 16. I’m not talking about the rare case. The only team that can beat that team is an older team. My 16 year old nephew can beat my 13 year old son in a race. He beats him in hoops, if they were to fight he would beat my son up. He is older. Do you not understand this. He also would probably do better if they were taking the same math test. He is older, which in most cases means smarter. Do you not understand this. If you need further explanations, I can’t help you.

2024 grad year. Maybe unfortunate but is what it is. Are you telling us that when your kid is a freshman he's not going to make varsity because older kids are going to be bigger than him? Always an excuse. First thing LI parents always ask is "how old are your kids?" Never do they say, "boy, they're really good."

This stuff is so out of control. Clearly any LI team playing a bigger and better team immediately digresses to “we lost bc the other team has holdbacks.” Not it’s a preemptive excuse...wow! My son has played for the madlax capital 2024 team for several years now and is on age at 13 just like the majority of the other boys on the team...despite what your social media bs sources say. I’ll be the first one to show you haters that you’re getting beat by a lot more on age players than what you think. I’ll bring his birth certificate with us so you guys can wipe away your tears with it although I’m sure you’ll come up with some other excuse by then. We will take note of your disclaimer above even though you pump your chest up that your the best team in the world for on age and at the club/holdback level! We will see about that...if the pack can even make it past the quarterfinals where they fell miserably last year at NLF.

I love how the WP parents moaned and groaned over the LIE tourney a few weeks ago about how Express stacked the deck. Meanwhile WP puts 4 Leaf NH, Lax Mafia (who in a previous post of their own said was a terrible team) and eclipse, who they just crushed. I’m surprised the WP coaches didn’t make it so they played three games on Saturday so that they could give their boys an extra rest and only play one game on Sunday while the other eventual opponent played twice on Sunday. Would of liked to of seen WP man up and maybe put themselves in a group with Madlax since they appear to of been avoiding them over the last few years. Maybe we could of seen the two titans battle it out twice in the same tourney. Having seen both teams play, the Pack might ha e a tough day at the office. Only good news is at least the madlax club isn’t bringing their national team that I saw play at Naptown...otherwise it would of been a really rough day for 91. Hopefully we will all get the matchup we’ve been waiting for so that all can see it on espn!

Why is the question
Choice A - they enjoy neighborhood firework show
Choice B- family BBQ on July 4th
Choice C- saving sky miles for Christmas vacation to go to Disney world
Choice D- half the team would be ineligible to play in WSYL.
I’m going D

This is the only sport in the world that doesn't require birth certificates and set rosters at the youth level. The club owners need to be reigned in. It's obvious they aren't going to do it without a requirement.

When you see the 2023 on the bottom of their shooting shirt, I'd call that cheating. Roster checks would be a start. You enter a roster with birthdates & that is your team for the tournament. Club lacrosse is getting out of hand!

Same Madlax guy that lied for years and years about having ANY holdbacks. The biggest person bag on this thread. Turns out all players that step on the field are either holdbacks, double holdbacks or guest player holdbacks and guest player double hold backs. You guys bringing the two 2023 DC Dogs guest player holdbacks? Sammy coming back to play down with the rest of the cheating team?? A simple peruse through the MD thread will tell you all you need to know about this team. Even all the MD holdback teams hate this team because of their low life cheating tactics. The true bottom of the barrel in youth sports. Cheat-on Madlax. Hey, what ever it takes win a 7th grade lacrosse game, right! How about you play on age in the 2023 bracket, and see how that goes? Your team would probably be the oldest 2023 team in the bracket! Your girllee-boys afraid to play boys their own age? That team is pathetic and should be banned from all tournaments!

Correct. And they have no interest in substandard players that had to reclassify in order to get any playing time. 90% of all holdbacks never get recruited, because they are substandard players. Nobody ever talks about that 90%. Nobody cares. The 10% that do get recruited would have been recruited had they not reclassify. Get a grip cheater parents. If your kid can’t cut it on age, HE IS NOT ANY GOOD!! You people are imbeciles.
