The 2019 NCAA Women's Division I National Championship held at Homewood Field in Baltimore in front of a sell-out crowd with 9,433 in attendance which was the 4th highest attendance national championship game, the top 2 teams in the country did not dissapoint.

Today's win marked the 14th time in school history and the 5th time under the helm of Cathy Reese that Maryland has won the National Championship, Tthe Terrapins defeated the best Boston College team of all time and #2 Boston College made it to 3 straight consecutive finals with the help from their big 3 (Sam Appuzo, Kenzie Kent & Dempsey Arsenault) who combined for 350 points this year.
Coming out of the gates hot getting a few goal cushin and with stellar goalie play by Meghan Taylor who finished with 10 total saves but the biggest of her 3 colassal saves coming with 30 seconds remaining earned the Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
