There’s only 1 A team. The others are there to fund the CR retirement plan. Complete money grab w/ their 25 girl rosters. Good luck. There’s only 1 A team. Jesters are going to play in the Spooky Nook tournament. Time to see where they stack up with the competition. Spooky Nook, "Indoor Championship" Is not a good barometer of the talent of a team. The teams are all going with reduced rosters and missing top players. Just a fun event, nothing more.

So Indoor doesn’t count and nether does Fallball Ol yeah and summer tournament Playoffs don’t count cause there shortened games. Most top teams are rarely in the same bracket for full games so what is a good “barometer” hammerhead!

So.....will your daughter be playing varsity this year? Pros&cons please. Do they need to play a certain amount of time to be brought up, or will they ride the bench in favor of older girls?

College coaches recruit players, not teams and after the top six players the rest are interchangeable in most cases, unfortunately most of you won't realize that until it's too late. The top 30 college teams probably have around 1,100 players on their rosters, what percentage do you think are from TG & YJ? The worst teams out there have at least 1-2 kids that can play, so you might beat T3 or the Phantastix 16-4, but guess what someone on those teams will be taking a roster spot from your championship caliber players, but at least you will have a Championship t-shirt at the end of the weekend. Are you really that slow?

If you are watching the games you will know who those players are they don't need to be pointed out to you. If you are on the YJ/TG roster for whatever reason ( pay/play, siblings in the program, friends and family) you are not automatically going to get recruited because you are wearing their pinney. You need to play to be seen.

Will the college coaches recognize this?

TG doesn't play everyone equal and in close games 5-6 kids never see the field, even in a showcase format, i'm sure that tells college coaches all they need to know, do TG parents recognize this?

For the first few years the 2020 TG team was the top team on LI and in the nation. Started off incredibly strong, if recruiting is the measuring stick of how teams finish, you would have to say this team definitely did not finish strong. Ironically this is the 2023 thread, the only other age group where TGs had a strong out of the gate team, not nearly as strong compared to 2020, hopefully 2023 will finish up strong.

Hopefully! After all , TG does have the only LI Teewararton winners. They breed strong lacrosse players and have a few studs on the 2023 team. None of the top girls are leaving and are committed to being the best they can be. That said, love the competition with YJ, and wish the best to all the girls. I’m sure a few of them will wind up together in college

Those players that left are now committed to UNC, BC, Syracuse, Hopkins, etc.I would say they finished strong.

A strong finish? They finished at YJ, because they knew the recruiting opportunities would be much better there. YJ 2020 "B" team commit list is comparable to TG 2020 "A" team list - they all left for a reason, if you know any of them you should ask them why they left and you will get an answer you don't want to hear

The girl from Massapequa committed to UNC prior to touching the field for YJ. Some left due to the coach starting up the Legacy program others followed the Riverhead daddy coach to YJ he used a top player to land himself a coaching gig. Sounds familiar didn't the Igloo coach just do the same thing.

The Legacy commits for the 2020's are very impressive considering they have always been the third team in this age group. Makes you wonder if Levy is putting more effort in helping his girls get committed than the other clubs.

The Legacy commits for the 2020's are very impressive considering they have always been the third team in this age group. Makes you wonder if Levy is putting more effort in helping his girls get committed than the other clubs. Nobody cares about the 2020 Legacy girls. Stop posting here

With practices about to get started, what does the LI pecking order look like? A bunch of 8th graders playing varsity and getting some great experience. Pre season:
TG, till someone beats them YJ Thorne, always solid YJ (Igloo) will be interesting Jesters Empire Elevate Liberty
Can't wait for the fun to begin!

Sounds about right. Top 4 listed Tier 1 then a big drop off

TG has a few, Jesters has 1 as well. It’s a shame we can’t have all the best girls together on one team to beat MD teams. Maybe Under Armour? How many 8th graders will they take?

I see definitely 2, maybe 3 from TG. 1 from Thorn (the only one doing anything on varsity), 1 from igloo (the only one doing anything on varsity), maybe 1 from Jesters. 9th graders not too good, so that might help out the eighth graders. Who picks the team this year? Politics always a factor!

And she put TG in the top bracket against M&d black, Skywalkers blue and NXT. She knows what shes doing
