Team91 won its first ever 8th grade game. That is all. They play in sunday league at St Pauls and won games there. As for their 1st win in hoco - congrats to them! Great lesson in perseverance. Sad you see an opportunity to mock a kids sports team. SP league has a winless AAA Looneys, winless AA Koopers, Zingo who only beat Koopers, And B Fallston. Dumb post about other wins hammerhead. Oh, and the HoCo was over a winless team too

Oh, and the HoCo was over a winless team too With two games left in the HOCO season it looks like clear front runners have emerged in the Elite Division and AAA Division, 2-3 teams in AA and 3-4 teams in A&B divisions. Team 91 got a win so their season is saved. The teams that moved up a division from last season struggled and the teams that moved down are near the top of the divisions. I think the biggest surprise this season is the Crabs. It should be a fun last few weeks before these teams go on to tournaments then showcases where the W&L's do not matter as much and the chatter on these boards about dies off. Just ask the 2022 parents from last season.

Sad you see an opportunity to mock a kids sports team. First win in HoCo in 2+ years. That is sad. There are more deserving teams in the AAA division than Team 91, but the owner maneuvered to get them at the Elite level for 3 years. That was a terrible decision for those Team 91 kids and the kids on teams that are more deserving. Give it to the 9th grader Except now when MM yells "give it to the 9th grader," he means his own re-classed kid.

The other 5 teams in elite division are fairly close and should have mostly competitive games. Kudos to FCA for giving Crabs all they could handle. It's OK to be merely a very good team. These are still youth teams

Did Koopers 2023 quit the season in their own league? Zero wins in either league. Lotta chatter preseason about moving up.

Not sure what FCA's scores will be since (1) They still have one game against the top 3 and (2) Last game score isn't posted. So the comparison is apparently based on doing well against the Crabs. Note however that the Crabs were without their top scorer when they played FCA. Regardless, FCA will be the fourth seed, and presumably Looneys the 5th. But its clear that the two teams are pretty evenly matched.

Very competitive game but hawks had the better offense and made fewer mistakes.

The comparison is between the two "middle" teams. They both will (likely) have lost all their games to the top three and won against the bottom 3. FCA won the head-to-head by one goal so they will make the playoffs and then lose to Crabs.

New website is lousy. Does anyone know the tie breakers? If DCD beat Crabs, Crabs beat Hawks, Hawks beat DCD, who is the number one team? The new site does not show GD and I think GA was another criteria that was used as well as SOS which will be the same for all teams.

Hard to grade if you have not watched the games. If we are talking Elite and I am assuming we are: Best Team - Crabs even with the loss to DC Dogs; this is still the team to beat Best Coaching - Hawks; I feel this is the most disciplined team from top to bottom and they seem to understand the game of lacrosse and how it should be played Best Attack (Individual and Team) - Crabs have the best 3 and this isn't even close; I think #20 for crabs has the best all around game; speed, ball handling etc Best Midfield (Individual and Team) - Toss up between DC Dogs and Hawks; not sure if any one individual stood out Best Defense (Individual and Team) - Toss up between Crabs and Hawks; both are big, fast and have high lacrosse IQs Best Goalie (Individual and Team) - Toss up again between Hawks and Crabs; I give the edge to Crabs with the crabs goalie being the best at the 2023 level Best FO (Individual and Team) - Toss up between Crabs and FCA; I think Crabs have the best 1-2 punch with 6 being better than 10, FCA kid may be the most skilled Most improved Team - DC Dogs since they are technically the newest team and could win on any given Sunday. Team that took the biggest step back - The easy answer would be 91 based on what is written on this forum but I actually feel they have improved somewhat. They need a goalie and some more size. I would say its a toss up between Next Level and Looney's who played an amazing game this past weekend.

We can all agree that the Crabs and Dogs have the most High School players on their respective teams. Carbs goalie versus Hawks goalie - two best but have to give it to the Crabs goalie since the Hawks goalie got 'shelled' a few weeks back 3 best teams are at the top of the division (Crabs, Hawks and Dogs) again they all have the most holdbacks so this is to be expected.

I missed something? Was there an award for biggest Daddy ball? Or maybe consecutive shots into the goalie's stick? If so, you nailed it 100%.

Look at the margin of victory in each game. Ask anyone who has seen those guys play. We were blown away by the improvement from when they played last year. MM kid is very good but they are much better overall from last year's team. Wins and losses were not a criteria I chose to use.
NM, these trolls shouldn't get a response.

I saw him against FCA, DC Dogs and Loonines and he was beaten badly in all 3 games. I would give him best effort at the X but clearly not the best or close to it. Crabs duo will handle him no problem this weekend.
