GC way too much for Wantagh to handle. Wantagh could not posess the ball. Wantagh made some adjustments on D in the 2nd quarter that slowed the bleeding but they were outmatched and outplayed. GC on top of their game.

Because the school wanted to play in a real lacrosse conference I've always wondered why CSH a suffolk school plays in section 8 which is for Nassau. All of the other huntington schools play in section 11.

Because the school wanted to play in a real lacrosse conference I've always wondered why CSH a suffolk school plays in section 8 which is for Nassau. All of the other huntington schools play in section 11. BOTC did some research on this topic. The Hamlet of Cold Spring Harbor is solely in the Town of Huntington, Suffolk County, however the Cold Spring Harbor Central School District is partly in the Town of Huntington and partly in the Town of Oyster Bay and is therefore part of both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. While the School District is considered a Suffolk County District, the Cold Spring Harbor sports teams are considered to be part of Nassau County.

Lowlights
BOTC's first "Lowlights" Column of the season - and the winner is the coach of Half Hollow Hills West. All we can say is summarized in one word : "Really"?
Lest Friends Academy - the home of the Quakers - thinks they escape the "Lowlights" column with a 17-0 win, rest assured that we have this covered. Seriously, how do coaches allow this to happen?
Highlights
Smithtown East 12, Sachem North 8: James Tenbrink had five goals and one assist and Brian Willetts added four goals for Smithtown East (7-1) in Division I. Brian Balkam had 15 saves.
