True but once you are off the Island the D division is much stronger than C and somewhat stronger than B.

There are only a handful of teams in D, what do you expect? Mattituck certainly isn’t weak. They could play in another class and do just fine but you don’t have a choice in what class you’re in!

Depends on who gets hot.

in the B class -
Manhasset looks like the best team on the island. They play team ball !
The Suffolk teams rely on one or two stars to carry the team.
My bet is on Manhasset to win States again this year.

in the C class -

CSH should win over whoever comes out of Suffolk.
They also play team ball and are very well coached.

Class A will be Northport easily beating whoever Nassau sends to it.
Class B , gotta go with Manhassett over ESM ( ESM does not have enough offense)
Class C I think BBP wins in a close one over CSH, BBP has the better athletes
Class D will be Mattituck over CP but will be closer than in years past as CP is a solid team this year.

You won't read about it in Newsday, but yes, Sacred Heart did beat GC by one.

Not that you will ever read about it in Newsday, but yes, SHA beat GC by 1 goal (9-8).

\Why would you expect any upsets? half the teams in the playoffs have no business being there

Athletes don’t expect upsets but the reason you play the game is for the opportunity to achieve the upset and create lifetime memories. Every game you play one team will loose. No greater feeling than knocking off a #1 seed.
