Actually they have played everyone in every game so far since the Fall. They do a very good job with getting kids on the field in various roles. Playing time isn't 50/50 but it isn't 90/10 either.

And the reason they kept their foot on the gas in the looneys game (while still playing everyone) was because of how the looney's coaches were behaving. I would be embarrassed to have my kid on that team, wow.

What did Looney's coach's do?

It was a great clean game, played closer than the score. Ton of talent on both teams, fun to watch. Parents were great on both sides. Couple of missed off sides calls were about it. Refs let them play.

Closer than the score? It was 17-9. Blowout. Not even a game.

OK, lets reword it. If there had not been a working scoreboard, you would have thought the game was much closer. Is that better wording for you? Don’t worry, you still got the win and can still toot your horn. #merica

Does this somehow differ from every other game we’re one team beats the other by 8 goals?

Look the crabs are on a whole other level, they’re not elite they’re above that. The hawks played a great game. They’re just not at the crabs level. From top to bottom the crabs have the best players. Their weakest link is there goalie play. The crabs came out slow and brought the boom in the second half. I would hate to see what they’re capable of if they played 100% from beginning to end. The Hawks might not even beat FCA!!!

The daddy ball comment referred to Looneys. Yes, they have holdbacks but of no impact. Only win is against 91 and blown out in the other games. Some kids only on team be use of daddy ball buddies.

What? Not stake in the Crabs v Hawks but Hawks has the best player in hoco 2023, period.

If anyone has holdback its next level. Crabs might have one kid that is over the limit by a day or two.

Meanwhile the ones posting smack in here are Crabs dads whose kids don’t get on the field. Probably at work wearing a Crabs T-shirt.

Well, there are 2 Crabs goalies (although one is better than the other)

So which one are you talking about?

Don't the Hawks also have two goalies? Is your son 15 or 16?

Give me a break. You have to be kidding me. What was the score again oh yeah 17-9 Crabs. So you’re telling me that a “Hawks’ Goalie” would make the crabs team after being lit up by 17 goals! Hahaha OK!!!!

None of the Hawks would want to play for Crabs... here’s some food for thought apparently some of the Hawks kids were on this forum the past few days and find it pretty funny/pathetic how the adults are so immature. And I quote “their kids need to teach dad about responsible social media”

If the defense played better and the middies and attack didn't lose the ball the whole 2nd half the goalie would not have allowed 17 goals

Truth is that Hawks may not have been tested like this before. The kids on the team are in 8th grade and goalie play is often inconsistent. There have been lots of teams to face Crabs this year and have given up far fewer goals with less skilled defenses and attack/midflields. Posting that our son will make the Crabs and that none of the Hawks want to play for Crabs is silly and does not respect the Crabs players including their goalies. How about good job your team, including the goalies played better that day? There a several strong players in the 8th grade division and the stats don't lie.

Lots of assumptions being made in this post. Be wary of what you read. With all the garbage talked about the Hawks goalie and his family....I highly doubt they are on this forum, or at least know enough not to post notIntelligent things.

Don't assume that it is Hawks parents posting any of these ridiculous comments. There are trolls all over online platforms. It really could be anyone. I am a Hawks parent. The Crabs were outstanding. Fun to watch. These are the feelings of nearly every one of our parents. Best of luck to all teams.

First win in HoCo in 2+ years. That is sad. There are more deserving teams in the AAA division than Team 91, but the owner maneuvered to get them at the Elite level for 3 years.

That was a terrible decision for those Team 91 kids and the kids on teams that are more deserving.

Please enlighten us. Who is the more deserving team? Why don’t you work on scheduling a game between 91 and the more deserving team. If the more deserving AAA -team wins then they take 91’s spot in the Elite division.
