Kudos to Team LI 2018 team! Their coaches and players had more HEART & B*LLS than the 2010 MLL Coach of the Year! Way to go 91!

2017 Express black was in a excellent battle for a bulk of that crabs game, MD kids were older but nobody cared and great game and Team LI 2018 played those older kids with an 150% effort! Shame on whoever put those 12 year olds against 14 & 15 year olds.

For the record, the Crabs 2017 team is completely made up of U15 eligible players. It is not a mix of U15/U16. It is an 8th grade team. I spoke with a few of the parents and the story was the same. They brought up two teams, a 2017(U15) and a 2018(U13).

They faced a good squad in the Terps Black and won, played and beat a surprisingly competitive U13 team(noone knows why) and and played an beat a team of Merchant Marine All Stars(talented individuals but little team chemistry).

Given the number of tournaments in the summer, there is a good chance Terps Black will have another shot at Crabs.

Big kids....many u15's, some u-16's. Crabs have some holes in their game but the Terps O couldn't capitalize on numerous possessions and shots and crabs had three or 4 goals on an empty cage when goalie came forward up field and crabs capitalized quickly on the turnovers.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda...

Scores I heard-

u15/16 Crabs 10 - 2017 Express Black 7

u15/u16 Crabs 14 - 2018 Team LI 1

u15/16 Crabs 14 - Merch marine League AllStars 1

The players on the Crabs weren't hiding they were older, as most of us know being in "8th grade" means NOTHING. Maryland invented the "held back" fiasco. Sounds like someone on hear is saying terps black is playing crabs again next week? Why and where?

Please research before you type, CRABS are NOT listed as Crabs 2017 on their on website. They are listed as Crabs u15. Which means they are covering their rear ends. Why call a team "Crabs u15" than call their frosh team "Crabs 2016"?

91 dropping out is Bull---- they don't play in the Oyster Bay leaugue and were never involved. Mule's 91 team did travel to Md last spring to play what is now the U15 crabs and lo and behold they WON so kudos to the U13 team Li for playing the game.

U13 is 80% 7th grade 2018 and 20% 2017. Add 2 years for u15 and that's 9th and 10th graders.

1- Your 91 team beat a completely DIFFERENT crabs team last year, ASK AROUND or check the Crabs site NEW roster.

2- Mule 91 team WAS suppose to play, check the Crabs site again

3- What have you done for me lately, last year means nothing

Next year the Terps, Glads, T-Blue, fl$, and 91 should all put their issues aside and create one (or two) 'all-stsr' teams to play the Crabs followed by a bbq at the field for the families who made the trip from Baltimore. Let's face it, there is a good chance a lot of the these talented athletes will be playing together in college.

No one said it was the same team, different team or other. 91 went down to MD last year & played the Crabs, had a great game & a great time. The point being made was 91 was NEVER scheduled to play the Crabs @ any point this weekend. It does NOT matter what their website said, it was NEVER set up! How many teams did their website say they were playing? How many did they play? & was it only 1 that was scheduled to play that actually did play them? The website was incorrect. Have you ever heard of an organization "playing up" an event? Maybe, just maybe you are misinformed & uneducated to the truth.

Please stop. As a parent on the Mule' team, we were never scheduled, nor did we even hear any talk of this. You may hate us, and that is fine, but it simply was never even discussed, nor spoke of. Our team is good, and our people are even better. We are a good team, and are capable of a fine season. True Blue DID beat us recently. The verifiable truth is that they (Blue) beat us SOUNDLY in the first half 5-1, the final was 7-5. Good for them. Many good folks over there also. We can watch a game with most anybody, and are glad to do so. Hopefully we will see them again soon for another fine display. We were never to play the Crabs this year. I cannot assure you with a guarantee, but this thread is the first that any of us are hearing about this. Too much bashing, attacking, and simple "un-truths" are happening on here, made easier by anonymous nature. Sadly, I will choose to do same, as it would be a matter to be ashamed of, to have taken part in this. Shame on ME. BUT, to try to speak responsibly and rationally, I will do this whether you know my name or not. Enjoy your spring.

Next year, all of the gutless lacrosse dad pansies should act like the men that they want their kids to grow to be. Then we'd really show Baltimore that we are good. The kids see this, and are ashamed. There IS hope for them! No Balls stuff. Watch a game, take the loss or win, keep practicing. OR, you could look to bail on your team, bash your opponent afterwards, accuse the coaches of nonsense, completely misrepresent the scores, accuse the bigger kids of being older than they claim..... You know, all of that fun stuff.

Not a shot at any of you 91 parents or players! You guys defiantly have a good team and good people but YOUR COACH keeps you in the dark. Don't feel bad, so does our express coach (they all do it to us he keep them in business).

Hmmm...the lady doth protest too much methinks...perhaps you'd care to enlighten us to anything of interest on OBLL?

Fact is; there was a great team in town. They challenged and beat everyone. That's a pretty good topic to chew on. LI is supposed to be the best...current writing on the wall of the future says "it ain't so!"

So yes, it's a hot topic. Don't read or chime in if your kids team wasn't involved, however, you may want to contemplate the current state of LI LAX compared to MD, PA VA, Conn. The talent has caught and surpassed many of our Local "powerhouse" programs.

You should be interested.

I can't comment on the 2017 games but I did watch the 2018 terps game. Not sure I would agree that crabs 2018 have surpassed LI teams. That Crabs organization has been strong for many years. Plus, that team is a true u-13 when all boys on terps are only true 7th graders, most have not yet even turned 13. Playing against boys a year older is a big deal--they are bigger, stronger and faster.

2018 terps played poorly in the first half and came back strong in the second...The Crab goilie really won the game as that kid made save after save.

If I recall it was a one score game up until the last few seconds...Great experience for all boys.

Terps traveling down to MD this weekend for the remathch.

You really believe most 7th grade terps haven't turned 13 yet? It's already April. I'll bet most are oct nov dec 99 birthdays. Not that it's wrong or their faults ,just answering back at your comment.

I am fairly certain there is a prominent attack on the 2018 terps with an August Bday who would not qualify for U13...being too old. I bet there are more......

Their now getting their D1 kids from Pennsylvania our interac league is loaded with Div. 1 recruits, one the youngest ever to commit to Hopkins a freshman. Malvern, haverford, Episcopal, Penn Charter, Hill, Lasalle, Conestoga, St. Joeseph Prep, Germantown Academy, Bishop Shanahan, plus a ton of public high schools all within 40 minutes of eachother. That area is probably the biggest producer of Div 1 lax players per square mile than anywhere in the country.

High School lacrosse? Are you serious? Read below and these schools have flooded NCAA lacrosse.

Garden City, Manhassett, Smithtown E, West Islip, Cold Spring Habor, Ward Melville, Massapequa, Farmingdale. Than there is also a couple of private schools called Chaminade and St. Anthony's.

Yes PA is a hotbed for sure with a lot of very good players. But IMO you can't compare to LI or MD. As you read this the #1 & #2 NCAA lacrosse teams are UMD & Cornell. Both LOADED with LI kids that are not just starters but STARS! Three of the top 5 middies in the country are from LI, bottom-line is PA cannot compare to LI & MD with top NCAA players OR recruits. Not yet, maybe never.

From my knowledge of 2018, 2017 and 2016 classes in club ball:

2016's-Crabs (MD) has the best class of players and LI is 2nd with Express & Outlaws

2017's- LI is LOADED with talented. But will admit Philly area has two good groups (dukes & freedom) but LI has Turtles, Express Black, Trueblue, 91, fl$

2018- Again easy win to LI with 91, Express Terps and Team LI are also LOADED with super 7th graders

Im not dissing PA at all, I might be missing some good PA teams so please post them here. At 3D Blue Chip in Fla the stand out players were the Mid Atlantic region and it was the LI & MD players that were the standouts.
