Get this. Parents and spectators banned from watching Ward Melville girls lax scrimmage VS SWR tomorrow. Are you kidding me? Why? Our BOTC take has always been that such edicts are more a sign of weak coaching than anything else. What's the name of this "Knut Rockne" of lacrosse? Maybe we need to do some investigative checks on "coach" and request appropriate FOIL data? I heard from a parent in the district that the 3 village district had budget cuts and the adopted budget does not include security persons for scrimmages. Any truth to that? Sounds believable because the boys V and JV also had games and no spectators were allowed either. Let us know 3 village people or BOTC.

That is the reason. The original budget did not pass. In order to keep sports programs intact, security guards could not be hired for scrimmages. Doing this had the least impact on the kids. Hopefully, our budget will pass this year so next year this won't be an issue.

It's called emotional blackmail, athletics and all other extracurricular activities (which amount to nothing in the grand scheme of things) are always the first to go. From local school districts to the whitehouse, that's how the game is played...

The poster was not knocking the player, they were knocking the coach. I must agree if you are such a good program then why do you need your best player to put up those numbers.

Actually CR was a class act and took them all out for second half. Her star scored all that in the first half looser. They only scored three goals in the second half. That game could have 40-0

I'll bite. It is nice to say that now, come back 4/27. Lets see where you stand then. Better yet, what teams do you think can stay 'Close" to them, who are your biggest challenges? How does the roster stack up for next year, and the year after that. Ive been hearing about this team for so long, it is so refreshing to hear all of this; yet some how some other team/s you dont hear much about come along and win more. no one will be able to run with that highpower nortport team. go down the roster, great players on that team.
