The landscape becomes much different and even more fair.I mean Lets be honest 80 to 90% of the 3 best teams are made up of boys with DOB's in 05. Just saying. 100% incorrect my friend!!! I know it sounds hard to believe, considering the well known corrupt landscape of travel youth lacrosse these days, but the team you speak of is 100% WSYL age-eligible! There's your proof of age!! No 80% to 90% holdbacks on this team, like the other teams that you are referring to. If your team is going to the WSYL, check us out. Or, if you aren't going, chances are you will see our boys on TV. Either way, you will see with your own eyes that every player will be there. You can count them, all 22 of them. I don't hear any other team, ANYWHERE making that claim. ZERO! But seeing is believing. And you WILL "see" all of our players at the qualifier in April and in Denver, in June/July. Believe it or not, there are still teams with moral character, that compete and win at the highest level. In July, you will see. And you will believe. Nothing new. This team has been 100% on age since day one. Not incorrect! Read the quote. To me A hold back is anyone born in 05. I understand they qualify for WSYL. But most of the boys on all the teams will Qualify with there dobs. My post said 80-90% of all the boys on the top teams have dob's in 05.

Think all these teams compete with each other pretty well so its not like one is so far ahead of the other. Though Dukes may be the shadiest.

Must really stink for the kids and family’s who were looking forward to going to Denver, only to find out they are being replaced by an 8th grader, for a 7th grade tournament. Nothing that guy does surprises me anymore.

I just find it hilarious that the only tournament that kids can play that has legit age requirements people get upset if kids are a year above in school. There is no loophole. . . u13 eligible player is u13 and meets tourney requirements. These parents didn’t choose the 9/1/05 cutoff to game the system for their kids. But, are supporting their kids dream to play in a great tourney and their kids are finally the oldest on the field. Something that rarely happens for fall babies. Parents that complain are probably nervous for their kid’s playing time. News flash. The last few final WSYL games I watched, there was very few subs going in. So, unless your kid is #1-3 attack and defense or #1-6 middle - they are just along for the ride anyway. This bashing and complaining is entertaining.

If you’re “just stating the facts” you need to state ALL the facts. What you are describing are pickup teams which aren’t “teams” at all. Or, adding ringers to teams, for a particular tournament, which is unethical, slimey and cheating. Adding players to a team that are not part of that team, solely for the purpose of winning a particular tournament, is cheating. Period. You really don’t get that????
