91 is well balanced. Enough said I disagree. I think 91, Express and Igloo have one or two kids that makes them great teams. We all know who they are. Take them off and then I agree that they are well Balanced very good teams. If Jr does play for 91 it would have been their third year in a row without winning a tournament. They know it. Same with Express. Watched Igloo play this weekend and I think their best days are behind them, too small, but well balanced. The amount of parity in this age group is incredible.

Ok bud, every team has multiple injuries but yours mattered with only 1 player. He was out you didn’t win much. Two out of eleven tournaments to me is not winning much. And here we go with the competing nonsense, newsflash: everyone competes. Does the other team stand there and do nothing? Please don’t hang your hat on that bud. And another thing bud, don’t compare 91 a few years ago to 91 now. Smash is back bud. Won practically every tournament entered last year. Sorry bud without that one player you are with the rest of the pack. ✌️Out BUD. Actually Express won 2 of the 3 tournaments during the injury period. Record shows this was the most active and winninest team for several years running. Can’t dispute facts, but keep talking trash if it makes you feel better. 91 was eliminated prior to championship games in both Tristar and NLF Nationals. How many tournaments did 91 play in last year and how many did the team win? 91 LI won 3 tournaments last summer

stop now. Blatant was light fall tourney. many boys didn't play due to football. most wont play together again until after spring high school season. many will play varsity as freshman, many will play in the private school league. enjoy the ride. most of these teams would dominate their age groups across the entire country. be happy about that. Yet most wont even step foot on a college team. I am not sure where you get most wont step foot on a college team. heard that for the last 7 or so years. well speaking from experience you are wrong. Most over 50% of the boys my sons played with and against played well through jr year in college. While some did quite after Sophomore year and even less quite for reasons outside of academics, most did not only get on a team but most played. and that was boys who graduated HS 16/17/18 and looks just as good for the younger grades. (this is from top teams through lower tiered teams, there was always a place for them to play, and they did)

Team is good without him but not a top team. With him they are one of best teams. Unfortunately we did not play them at all last summer

Express and 91 parents are completely insane for not playing in the Igloo event. While your out east playing for club pride, there will be 25 college coaches watching other teams at Cantiague park. Nothing will ever compare to this on LI.

You know nothing about recruiting. Igloo event paid coaches so they have to attend. The lineup is week. All assistants(which are the real recruiters) from those schools plus many other college coaches will be at elite event. More coaches will be out east. That’s a fact

They will be watching Why bother with this until at least next fall. Unless your son wants to have some fun, then all good, that’s the value. But it’s not a recruiting event for the 2022s imho. The best players don’t need exposure now and the ones that think they do won’t be remembered as they are “watched”. Worry about the summer of 2020. In that year, ask if the club your son is on will help, what events they are doing, and make sure the roster doesn’t have 30 plus kids on it. That is so key, 30 kids oma roster at a showcase is BS. Think about it... it limits the exposure time of your son and he’ll play with kids on shifts not on his ability level. In HS these club teams should be capped at 22. But some parents that think they are entitled and you get 30 man rosters. And that makes club not as important. Because after that all the work is on the parents. Especially the 3 minute video. This came right from a D1 coach, we never watch the whole video, put the best highlights upfront, use music that is acceptable to age groups, mix the highlights of school and club, and make sure the Hs coach and club contact info is included.

The unique instructional camp structure allows the kids and coaches to build a rapport, which is invaluable during the recruiting process. You would have to attend 20 on campus camps to duplicate the experience. The business interests of Express,91, and the NLF are the only things keeping kids away from an event like this.

But both held their own against the weak teams. Rebels and Igloo would compete and potentially win in B tournaments not sure why they torture the kids by entering A tourneys.
