And once again Chan pulls a fast one. He sends the 2025 home so that his 2024 team can take there place in the semi-finals (that his 2024 team did not make it into). This guy is such a snake!!!!!! don’t you think the other teams consented and the tourney directors agreed? Not advocating either way, just saying this is always more to the story no consent . Was standing right by the desk. The 2025 coach walked right up and said they are letting the 2024 team take their spot. The 2024 team was knocked out. Was a scam . Typical crap at blatant. To boot the 2024 ended up. winning they beat the TAZ team that beat them knocked them out . I am sure that went over well with the parents . How that club gets away with this crap. They should have never made it to the final Ok your all misconstruing the situation. Express Schwalje was always in the top 4. It would have been: 1. Taz 3 wins 0 losses 2. Igloo 2 wins 1 tie (but had a better goal differential) 3. Express 2025 Chan 2 wins 1 tie 4. Express 2024 Schwalje 2 wins 1 loss (but beat Express 2024 North in head to head 3rd game) When Chan forfeited it allowed Express 2024 North to come in as the 4th spot and Express 2024 Schwalje moved up to the 3rd. This way Schwalje went against Igloo in playoff instead of Taz, and would then go against Taz in championship game. Since it was up for grabs as to who would win in a Taz vs Schwalje game, and Schwalje lost their first game against Taz, by Chan forfeiting it just pretty much ensured Schwalje would make it to final championship game to face Taz. Next time read the rules for the tournament, and you would have realised Schwalje would have been in playoffs. Not to mention after Chan forfeited Schwalje was then listed as number 3 team and Express North as number 4, told you Schwalje was in playoffs either way.

Chan’s team didn’t even play any good teams. The bottom teams were protected from the top teams. Terrible job setting the schedule up. Not sure that makes any sense. Ok, so who should they (Chan’s team) have played?

Read the rules. In a tiebreaker after points which was the same since 2 wins 1 loss, then comes head to head. Head to head comes before goal differential. Schwalje played Express North in 3rd game and won, so they seeded better than Express North. Rebels had a worse goal differential then both of the other teams so they had no chance. You must read the rules. Every tourney is different. Thus the reason in playoffs Schwalje seeded 3rd and played Igloo while North behind them seeded 4th and played Taz.

Chan forfeited because he knew he couldn’t win. Great lesson you are teaching your players! His top players who were good but nothing special tied Igloo because big Igloo boys couldn’t figure out how to play such small players without fouling. That right there is why you shouldn’t play up. The size difference was ridiculous! He knew in the playoffs Igloo would figure out how to use their size and not stumble and step back. Cheater and horrible coach!

Okay at the end of the day Express has an ugly orange T-shirt and split with Legacy. They are the two best teams yesterday and probably will play again this weekend at tri star. Heard the 2025s for 91 might be attending.

Sorry you are wrong. Nothing in rules say cant use head to head if 3. Way tie. Rebels didnt play either head to head so you look at goal differential. And they did not beat either on that, so were knocked out. Schwalje and Express North did go head to head and Schwalje won, so they were 4th seed. After forfeit by Chan, Schwalje moved up to 3rd seed and Express North became 4th seed. If you were right then after forfeit, Express North would have moved up to 3rd seed and Schwalje would have been 4th seed. That did not happen. Its all there very clearly. Its ridiculous and makes you look foolish to argue anymore.

Force looks like the real deal. I’m not sure that Blast would have been able to beat them today. 12-2 loss to Express A and the B team went 0-3 as well.

Regardless, looks like the Force A team was still the 3rd best team on Saturday and is probably the 3rd or 4th best team on Long Island. Very tough to dispute that. Don't know much about the Force B team other than they are a new team.

All the B team rosters looked light. Don’t know if it’s other fall sports or what. I think parents on some of these lessor B teams will look for greener pastures after the fall. Now that they see the results on the field.

Who cares about who ranks where? It’s meaningless. Let the boys play and have fun. No one can dispute that there are only 3 A programs (91, Express, and igloo) and the rest are just B teams competing and having fun. And there’s nothing wrong with that, nor does it mean it will always be that way. None of those other teams stand out as that much better than any of the rest and none of them can really compete with those 3 teams. That’s just the way it is. Your son may not be the best player on the best team right now but that doesn’t mean he won’t be a star one day. Let them just have fun without all the parent intervention. People on this board need to stop calling out children, pointing fingers, insulting others and being so darn immature and disgusting.
