And that’s your justification for holding back your ‘23 Express boy? The reality is he can’t get playing time with kids his own age, so make your post-puberty “man-child” play with “boys”. Setting a great example dad. If you can’t hack it, cheat. The real losers are all those Express kids who won’t get the opportunities that they deserve because of the five reclassed kids. At least Five ‘23’s and a 30 player roster! Parents. Why do you put up with this?? Open you eyes! Other teams are NOT like this. At least, not on LI.
WP parent here. The team picked up two Fall 05's at tryout, which totals two 05's on the team. With 23 players on the team, that's approximately 8% of the team are 05's, which means... 92% of the team have 06 DOB's. Previous to this year, it was always... 100% 06 DOB's.
So, saying that the vast concentration of players are from 05, or 95% of the players on AA teams have 05 DOB's, that is simply a myth, spread by people on here, who's kid was cut by these top teams. Myth dispelled!
Only referring to Long Island here. I'm sure that the 95% number is pretty close to accurate for all the MD teams./
Sorry to Break it to the BS Pack parent........There is more 05's on that squad...Let it be.It's ok.. Its Math.. Be the ball......... I know all of the WP team very well and I can confirm that there are only two Fall 05 boys on that team. Exact same on our team. It’s obvious that your child has been rejected by a lot of teams and you justify that by thinking the deck is stacked unfairly against him. Sorry to say, at least for these two teams, that is not the case. WP picked up 2 Taz holdbacks, one was the LSM and not any good but probably the oldest of the bunch but knowone cares , so that doesnt seem to matter, but the other taz boy,the Express kid and the 05 boy from Riverhead are all mid 05 ers. thats 4 additions all that will dominate playing time on that squad No horse in race, but you say one is not any good. So why would he “dominate playing time on that squad.” Trying to add a little drama?? Your post just lost all credibility. You sound like just another pack hater to me. no dummy, he was a throw in to get another boy, just happens to be older and his daddy coaches for the organization,,,,,go figure......he is terrible as stated but the other 4 new additions will dominate the playing time. Guessing your post is as accurate as your math. You site 4 new hold backs. Then you subtract one. I''m not too good at that new common core math, but pretty sure that leave 3, not 4. Still obviously trying to create some drama where I'm sure there is none. Maybe you could give us some interesting inside intel on the boys dad who is a coach for the organization. This should be interesting.

These conversations are so ridiculous. The WP has been a strong team from Day 1. These new boys are not going to dominate any playing time. The top 15 boys on this team are as close to the BEST at this grade level and the conversations are that these new 4 boys will dominate playing time??? What was the WP a B team before they got here?? 2 of the 4 will fit in with the talent that is already there, the other 2 will get on the field but will not play anymore than the last couple of years squad. Stop the stirring and jealousy. This team is stacked across the board without these new additions, these new boys are good and will add to this teams success. Trying to poke holes in what probably is the most dominate 2024 on paper shows you were either part of this team and cut or moved to find a "better fit". A conspiracy theorist who heard from someone who heard from someone that the New guys will take all the playing time.Boo Hoo and a bunch of BS. Tried out and didn't make the team and hold a huge vendetta against everything WP or just sick of getting beat by them. This had been going on since 2nd grade with this team, lt's nothing new to the boys or the parents so give it up already. These boys work hard and their success is well deserved. Come Denver the whole squad will be there and then what will all of you all about? Now have your boys go hit the Wall Ball and practice because Denver is gonna come quick, I know the WP will be ready..

Is the big Taz middie that left #3? And you are saying he will qualify for the WSYL? No way. You people don't read so good. For the last time, haters, 100% of the pack will be in Denver, playing lacrosse. his original birthdate was July, the crazy parents moved it to Novemebr and falsified a bunch of documents,,they are the definition of problem parents,,the kid isnt the issue.they have both older and younger kids that all are going down the same path

Yes the TAZ boy was born in JULY and thats why he went to WSYL last year....Now he's on Pack and he is some how by the lacrosse gods NOW born in November???????!?!?. You can't make this stuff up. He will be called out immediately. Not sure why parents bother.... There is so much documentation proving he's Ineligible. Why go through all of the this? The team will suffer. The parents of his teammates will suffer. What a FIASCO!

Nice effort today gentlemen. An unprecented number of garbage posts from the pack haters. Obviously our boys have you very nervous. And from what I have seen, it’s completely justified. A scary team on paper and practice, to be sure. Hit the sack early tonight. I expect an equal effort out of you tomorrow. No let down!

Sad how much jealousy is associated with this team, for several years now. The simple truth: some folks hate others successes. It makes them feel like failures. So they pull people down with false truths. That’s bad enough. But, this is far worse. This is about little kids, not adults. Your behavior is unconscionable. True failures. -Not a WP Parent

They falsified documents to play 7th grade lacrosse? I didnt even know you coulid falsify documents anymore. Is this like when we chalked our licenses for spring break? What documents do the clubs even ask for? Does WSYL really collect all the documents and check them? Any chance WP would let us follow them with a camera crew? When is first tournament? I Want to come watch the parents. Thank you BOTC for being the gift that keeps on giving.

What happend with the pack last year is that the majority of there team are made up of 06's(real good 06's) but last year the hold backs and 05's on the other A teams got a little bit bigger and faster as puberty would have it. So even know the pack are better skilled it was much harder to compete this past season. So the Pack go and get some of the biggest and best 05's out there.

More proof that real losers will make up absolutely ANYTHING to try to pull success down. Falsify legal documents to play in a 7th grade lacrosse game?!! I've heard everything now. What's next? I know! The boys aren't just 05ers, they are Klingon's, straight off the set of Star Trek! heck, they aren't even human beings! No wonder your kids couldn't make the pack! It all makes sense now. Feel free to use that one. NP.

Hey nervous Pack daddy. Keep telling yourself your boy will get the same run. Reality is they had to upgrade as they were falling behind. Lost a lot more tourneys than they won. Some close games against bad teams. Daddy ball catching up. Dude stop with your nervous daddy BS. Your boy is a B player that you wish was an A player. The daddy ball comment shows a little about who you are. When your a B team dad your boy will be a B team player. You exude B team dad. But keep up the jealousy it seems to be working. Drop the Vendetta brah, your son doesn't look good in orange. Ha Ha brah. Make sure you get to that uniform fitting. Guessing you and wifey need that XXL this year. Nervous eating and all. Can’t wait to see the little daddy huddles at the first tourney talking about how the new additions getting all the run is BS.

It is a crap spot for parents of kids who have been on the team who will lose playing time. They have been a top 3 team for a long time with their kids playing. The big 2 new additions will eat up a lot of their time. Fair or not. Can’t blame the team either. It’s a business and that is how the top teams should operate. It’s the parents that make the change fun to watch from the outside.

The coach makes decisions on playing time based on what he thinks is best for the team. Then parents make decisions for their children based on what is best for them. That’s the way it works. Nothing personal. Just business. True for every travel team, not just elite ones. Having said that, I would expect there to be a lot of movement on this team for next year, and possibly even before. With the abundance of talent that they have, there is no possible way to keep everyone happy. Savy competitive coaches will keep close tabs on the goings on of that team, with an eye out for disgruntled parents. As soon as the tourneys begin, and a player hierarchy is established, playing time issues will emerge. Then the fun begins.

That’s a lot for off season workouts, especially considering most of the kids have MS practices every week day. Must be grueling for the kids.

This is way too rational a post for this forum. Sprinkle in a holdback rant, and some disparaging comments about team owners and moms, and you’ll be in business! The person who posted has a kid on Schwaljes team. So clearly they would know their tournament schedule.

It's a business and the club needs to win in order to keep up their revenue. We were in a spot where it no longer made sense to be with a club, so we left and looked for greener pastures. Again, no malice, it's a business decision. We didn't like the offering so we left and went to a better offer. Doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. And then the club actually gave us crap for leaving. Loyalty is a two-way street and these boneheads expect us to be loyal when they make a decision we don't like and pay them for the privilege. Yeah, I don't think so.
