Used to post UA rosters but stopped because so embarrassing that most Baltimore kids were snowflake holdback is which showed the rest of the world (as did crabs 2021 in YWSL) that Baltimore needs holdbacks to beat on age teams. Thanks.

That actually was Hilarious. That got taken down so quick. Last Year even Balt guru of recruiting Xanders made a tweet about something needs to be done about the age/grade holdbacks at UA. UA teams from certain areas are holdbacks upon holdbacks. Crazy stuff.

The name calling on here is priceless. Getting on post for grammar and punctuation is hilarious. What are we writing term papers on here? Baltimore folks joking on AA or any other county is classic. Baltimore folks do know that the majority of the top players that have ever played for Crabs have come from AA County. Every Baltimore club has kids from every county on them. This is not up for debate. Posting rosters? Seriously? Yes , I dare someone to post my kids name on an open forum that allows anonymous posts. Pretty decent post but saying that a majority of the top players that ever played for crabs are from AA county is laughable. Check the alumni page. If what you say is correct Spalding and Severn wouldn’t stink year in and year out.

Delusional about AA County having Majority?? Where did you get that info from? Players are from everywhere, but AA having some claim to the most Crabs. Laughable

Players are from everywhere which is the point ! Baltimore folks acting like they have some superiority over others. It is a fact that the BEST players on almost every Talented Crabs team was not from Baltimore and a good majority of them come from AA. Delusional and laughable is trying to argue the FACT.
Posting your roster on your club site is one thing, which very few if any do especially for the Elite teams, and posting on a site like this for dirt balls to argue over is completely different. Not sure what you don't get?

My point about the rosters is to the stunad posting that Crabs is struggling which is why they haven't posted their roster yet. Crabs, FCA, Roughriders, etc always post their rosters. They just aren't posted yet.

Again. To say that a MAJORITY of Crabs top players over the years are from AA is just not a true statement.

Go to https://crabslax.com/AlumniCrabs.aspx

Certainly is a minority of those kids from AA County.

Past several years? They have been awful for decades and there is zero lacrosse tradition there.

HOWEVER, Past performance is not an indicator of future results. Spalding is having a #movement and they are going to be really good next year.

Did Looneys field a 2022 team? What happened? Where did the kids go? Interesting since after 4th grade the coach left Koopers and took most of that team to Looneys.

No Looneys 2022 team anymore. Couple went to Crabs. Bunch went to Koopers. Coach's son went to FCA.

Is it really necessary to spend $2-3 thousand per year for club if you know your son isn't going to play D1? Fun yes, but is he better off getting smaller group lessons from a great private coach once or twice per week, doing UA tryouts and several prospect camps during this first two high school summers and playing college summer league ($125) his rising senior summer?

AA 560,000 Balt CO 830,000

Balt Co has a huge population of parents that have played lacrosse, MIAA BL,Gil,McD, Loyo, CH have majority of kids from Balt County. Those are real FACTS.. Keep dreaming about AA.

You really are worked up over this roster thing. I dont see any kids names posted here, but I do on Club sites. Not sure what you are getting worked up about??

Hardshells is different than it used to be. Hardshells is for eastern shore kids now as opposed to basically being a B team for coach's kids that weren't good enough to make Crabs.

Very funny, plenty of good players (better than the current Crab's team) on the Eastern Shore. They just happen to play for other clubs. Kent Island, Easton, etc. all have some great (not B) players.

The difference with the Crabs being their 22s are actually 21s and 20s.

Not a full team but yes individuals. There are at least 3-4 players that would be an upgrade to the Crabs 2022 roster.

Thanks. We really need to discuss the holdback issue here again. It's been a few days. Show me one team that doesn't have holdbacks(by choice of the club not because they stink and kids don't want to play for them) and then it becomes a worthy discussion.

Some do it with guest players and some don’t, but if you are on one of these top teams, your kid will get the looks they need to get recruited.

Whether rosters are posted on this anonymous forum or not, many clubs post their rosters. Crabs, FCA and Roughriders for starters.

Crabs also made the semi-finals of Young Guns.

haha, thanks for providing the proof.. every team on there especially there most talented teams from the past 10 years has at least 2 AA kids if not more, and this kids were the top players on those teams. You can't just look at the schools they went to because many of them did got to BL,CH,MCD.

Again, it's a huge stretch to say a majority of the top players on Crabs were from AA. It's not even close or debatable. Not sure why you keep on about this. I am well aware that the school doesn't have anything to do with where the kid is from. However I know almost all of these kids and coached some of these teams and you are just spouting nonsense.

2022 class has some very good talent. How many from this class can crack a Varsity team this Spring? Public, MIAA, WCAC varsity teams are very tough to make as freshman.

All of the 2022's at Spalding will make Varsity, and start all season. They will also all be All-MIAA and All-American's and Spalding will start their string of 4 straight MIAA tournament championships. If they aren't then Ripley is going to implode.

Clearly you've never had a kid play D1. All that matters is where the player is the summer before his junior year. No one cares who makes varsity as a freshman. If you make it and sit the pine, you may have been better off to play for a good JV program and get 100% of the reps. Frankly, if you're good enough, you don't need to play any club until that summer if at all. Seriously, all a coach needs to do is see a stud once or twice (UA and a showcase suffice) and he's getting an offer. Those players jump off of the page (usually big, fast and great stickwork at least at M and D).

You guess wrong. BK is running the lacrosse boosters group and Phipps is a hawks puppet. 2022's will be starters on V.

It still amazes me that people would send their kids to Spalding.

This again? First off, no one cares about Blackwolf. Secondly, why do you keep bringing up stuff that happened years ago over and over? Thirdly, this is a Maryland thread.

I have a 2019 and a 2022 at a top club and I have never seen Blackwolf at a tournament. Do they even exist anymore?
