[quote=Anonymous][quote=Anonymous]No debth ? Lol !!! One would have to witness subs first to make that assessment. When that happens we can make that call. is igloo still holding their tryouts? or is the team just going to YJ as a whole team with no changes. looking for real information please. will we get our money back if we registered for tryouts? The agreement is Igloo will come as a team this year depending on how many girls are returning. Depending on the number CR will back fill the roster at tryouts with the amount of girls needed for the team. Next year all the girls are in the tryout pool and will be placed by ability and f&f So basically after this year, all the Igloo girls get screwed except for coach and his daughter! Like watching a train wreck, glad we’re out! yes some will take the bait for this year but hopefully most are smart enough you GET OUT NOW ! people need to wake up and realize there is no loyalty by coaches/players ...why are people so surprised by this "agreement " that was made months ago??!!

[quote=Anonymous]Do you think the Liberty girls will take spots from the original TG players? TG will probably offer positions to 3-4 new girls. Maybe two didn’t return, maybe two more will be cut. There were over 70 girls at the tryouts, so we’ll see what happens. TG has areas like all teams where they can improve; for instance the 2 low attackers from Want are solid and secure on that starting group but the other 2 spots can easily be taken by a kid from liberty, Igloo or any other program. High attack for TG is where AS knows he needs improvement SAying that daddys girl is the only A player on igloo is ridiculous. Likke saying the middie from wb is the only A player on TG,,,, No they are just both the best players on their team. TG's bottom 10 changes every year and usually is the make up of former B players, because they ride the pine and leave. Igloo plays all their girls, some are not A players but TC does play them all Do you think the Liberty girls will take spots from the original TG players? Igloo plays all their girls, some are not A players but TC does play them all Igloo has one great player period. Although she sometimes doesn’t show up in games, such as the beat down Igloo took from TH at there last meeting. TG has an Arsenal. There is no one player who makes the team. There are about 5-6 girls on that team who are lights out. The big Smithtown girl who shoots rockets. The wings play of the Islip and CSH girl, The Wantagh Attack unit. Very rare for all of them to be off in a game. If they win draws they pound goals, and have greatly improved there. YJ has similar strong girls at several positions, as well as a stand out goalie. Igloo/ YJ West is just not deep and it will be revealed this year. Then the one girl will move to Thorn, and rest of the team will be leafy to scratch. Let me single out a few players so it seems I am nor just promoting my daughter, throw in some town names and positions, make sure I mention my daughter in this agenda so she gets recognition as one of the top players. PATHETIC. Tg has one good team and they are too happy to thro their teammates under the bus, as you can see nobody wants to be on the sideline with that group of insane parents, if you think it bad now wait another year or two when colleges are watching the games Looking forward to the merge of Igloo/YJ in a year and all the crying and belly aching when girls that have been on the YJ team for years get dropped to W's team and TC is coaching as T stands by and watches. Don't bury your head in the sand and pretend its not going to happen the writing is on the wall. And that will be happening 2 years before recruiting begins it will be great timing for all those loyal parents. That's what you look forward to?

TC Disciple, here. Why are YJ parents freaking out, if they are only a one player team? Why do you lose to one player? Maybe your the one is who is afraid. TC did everything he could, your forgetting one fact - he does not own Igloo. Never fear competition that's what you should be teaching your kid instead of building your excuse. Plenty of kids, from Nassau, play YJ especially as they get closer to recruiting age. Your spreading lies. Yes all money will be refunded for tryouts, but this has nothing to do with TC. Given the circumstances he did the best he could with what was dealt.

What exactly becomes of Wrights team with all of this nonsense, will they even be at the big tournaments?? Seems like current YJ teams are really screwed by this merger. The only ones who make out are Igloo, who becomes YJA

Making inroad into YJ Nassau is a superb move given that Nassau has produced many state champions. and now with CSH moving into class C its all cake. WOW !!!!

Igloo was on the hook for all of next years tournament fees most are paid already. They sold your daughters out for one reason only $$$ . The coach at this point is looking out for his own kid I suggest you look out for yours.

Igloo moving to YJ is a done deal. Take a look at the YJ website. TC is listed as coach for his 2023 team, which will now be the A team and will remain intact. He also took his 2024 and 2025 teams with him. This was in the works for months! He made sure his 2021 daughter was taken care of in Liberty and threw the rest of the team under the bus! This is HORRIBLE as the 2021 team is 12 months out from recruitment. He could not take the 2021 with him because there are already 4 2021 teams on YJ. These 15-20 girls and their families are now left to fend for themselves trying to get on another travel team that has probably been together for at least 6 years. VERY BAD IGLOO!! I'm sure many of these girls left their former teams 3-4 years ago to help launch the Igloo program and look where they ended up. I feel very sad for these girls and their parents.

I understand where you stand as far as girls making sacrifices to help Igloo but in their defense in which I absolutely have no connection with them whatsoever, if they were unable to field a team, I think they did the right thing in merging their program with the strongest program there is. If not that, what do you think they should have done?

Igloo threw those Familys under the bus and now has the gall to send out an email invite to their showcase the they want to charge 500$ for a bunch of coaches that they PAY to attend. NO THANK YOU, I’ll wait till the coaches want to come on their own to watch my daughter play. How notIntelligent do they think people are??

I understand where you stand as far as girls making sacrifices to help Igloo but in their defense in which I absolutely have no connection with them whatsoever, if they were unable to field a team, I think they did the right thing in merging their program with the strongest program there is. If not that, what do you think they should have done? true they had to do something i think all the girls will find a place. it is going to cause some major changes in the 2023 YJ. but probably for the better. don't you think? Maybe, maybe not. YJ was a mess to begin with and now the Igloo girls are getting thrown into it. Dad will only care about his own daughter. $500??? for real??? Embarrassing isn't it? For a one day event, I even thought about paying 200 and thought that would be a little crazy. It isn't even an exclusive invite only type of event. The definition of money grab, sad for the sport. I'm sure the rich little snobs will stand out without any real competition in the house. Unfortunately, these coaches are being paid, and could care less.

Posts: 1 Igloo moving to YJ is a done deal. Would cost more to drive to Maryland or anywhere else that requires an overnight stay to see 1-2 of these coaches and you get in front of a great group of schools, except Hofstra, not sure why they're included, you certainly don't need to spend this money for them to see you, they have stuff all the time

At this age, the girls should gear up for Under Armor. The Igloo event is a waste of time and money.

The Under Armour tryouts for LI are not until May I believe. For 2023’s only 2-3 kids will even make the Long Island team (mostly 2020’s) The elite camp thing UA runs is a complete waste of time. This Igloo camp is silly as well. All of you on here have the ultimate platform to get coaches attention, show up to your summer travel games in two years and preform on the field, gear up to do that. Get selected to UA and schoolgirls, get the county awards for school ball and everything falls into place with out spending absurd amounts of money on these joke camps.

Where are the 2023 Jesters A team this fall? They fell off the map. Or did they fold? No fall tournaments? Younger teams in tournaments. Did they lose there head coach? Too bad.

The 2023s do not play on the same team as the 2020s. Under Armour has two (highlight and command) younger age brackets. Next year will be 2020/2021 and 2022/2023. I agree that very few 2023s will make the team,

They will lose their top girls next year. Recruiting happens in the fall. Director needs a lesson from Liberty. Have to be seen and to be seen they have to be on the circuit in September and October.

This happens in all regions.

Girls looking to make the team better be standing out on Varsity this year!

Great job YJs, aka "91 Wolfpack" Entering into a C level tournament and blowing out teams 20-0. Did that really help you? What were you trying prove? Meanwhile you hide from the top competition at the big tournaments. And you wonder why people hate the YJs? Your club needs a lesson in being humble!!

There’s only 1 A team. The others are there to fund the CR retirement plan. Complete money grab w/ their 25 girl rosters. Good luck.
