Anyone know anything about 24 East? Are they the old Team Long Island? How are the coaches, are they parents and is there a lot of daddy ball? Have those boys been together a long time so there is little chance of breaking into the line up? Do your self a favor and remain clear of daddy ball environment. The majority of the time it causes nothing but conflicts. Likewise, be careful of the situation you put your son in. Plenty of other organizations to select from...

Now that Taz did not when any championship in the Spring are they turning over the small-sized roster or will the SWR coach they to pull his future players to the other team? Is WP going to keep the same team or pick up a couple of kids this year? What positions does express need to upgrade? Will igloo, rebels. or true blue get kids to compete next year or try to go to other teams? Love it or hate it tryout season is a week away. You gotta do what you gotta do for your kid NOT for yourself!!

Looking forward to ending the debate on certain holdbacks with the wsyl. Interesting to see the giant madlax middie and the chosen one both played in the wsyl this year. I guess we’ll know whether they are just that good or just older like everyone says. i can say with 1000000000000% certainty that the latter(the one from CT) is a 2006 birthday, im sorry to disappoint all of you, but this young man is the hardest working young man out there on and off the field. just a super nice and humble young man Thanks Dad.we will see if he posts for wsyl next summer

You LI guys crack me up. I think the WSYL is an awesome event and btw, my son is on age. The one question I have for all you LI guys (who by the way I enjoy talking to a lot of you on the sidelines), is what do you tell your boys after this cool experience is over? Meaning, do you explain to them if they want to play at the next level (which would be a blessing for all of us) that they will have to compete with these so called cheaters or holdbacks for these same college spots? It’s not going away. You can throw the fact around that MD/VA teams don’t participate in the WSYL but ultimately the jokes on you down the line when the rubber meets the road. Just seems odd to boast about this knowing what’s coming in the future if all fortunate enough to have our sons play at the next level. Thanks for the impute MD dad. What I would say. LI boys are the best on age players in the country for YOUTH lax. Down the road at the next level when they are able to be recruited and everyone has pretty much matured, the LI boys will again be looked at as the best Lacrosse players in country. But please tell the MD and VA boys they have not been forgotten... they are legally allowed to purchase beers as incoming freshman.

And no Express player will go to WP or Taz, but Express might get TAZ or WP players. And Express proved last year, it's a tryout and spots are not guaranteed.

Who is the best team of the summer?
Here are the winners of the top Tournaments:
NLF Super Series - Hawks North American Lax Summer Invitational - Madlax Crabs Young Guns - Laxachusettes Millon Championship - T91 MD Naptown - Duke's NLF Club - ???
Actually, BBL won the Naptown over Dukes, 10-3. Tourney Machine was wrong but has since been corrected. A lot of parity, IMO. Good for the sport.

My son had a mediocre season on his current team. There are so many teams out there our heads are confused where to try out. My son is a B+ player and with the right coaching may be able to hang with some of The A players. He’s not getting it from his current coach.
What are some decent programs for this age group with minimal drama?

That was actually Brotherly Loves “Academy” Team which is now made up of kids from Rough Riders and Philadelphia Freedom. I guess they were tired of getting beaten up by the big 5 and are following Madlax and Dukes model. Still lost to a team they beat earlier in the year.

I'm sure they'll be plenty spots at TAZ few goys leaving wP and Express losing some players. TAZ looking for new blood. Not sure where your getting your fake news from but nobody leaves WP. That is the tightest group of players and parents around. Those kids and parents have been together for years most from 2nd grade. Can’t imagine they would turn down the right players (and parents), especially this year, but no one on that team is going anywhere.

Love how you list only the tournaments that your sons team was in. You’re missing a lot, list boy. You put the exact same list on the 23 thread, complete with same winners. Can somebody confirm that laxachustts actually won a tournament in this bracket? I find that extremely hard to believe. If so, that must have been one bad tournament.
