This is laughable. Politics definitely in play with the selection of “the best attackman in the country, by far”. Clearly, you’re biased and blind.

Looks like the original post was revised;

"I will go a step further. Not only one of the best...THE BEST !!! Bar none! Future D1 Hall of Fame attackman like his father. Have any of you seen who runs the attack for this team Him!! Who gets the ball on every offensive series , Him !! Who do all the players pass the ball to, Him !!

There is a reason for all this,, Best Attackman in country by far!!"

By coach's design the ball goes to that attackman, or starts with him on almost every play. Other players are scared to make a mistake because they will get reamed and benched if the ball does not touch the net when they take shots that do not follow that concept. Anyone who has ever watched a 91MD game has seen this happen. 6 points a game average the last couple YEARS! The defense on Team91MD is MVP of every game won, or every game not lost by 10 points this season. Without their 3 best defenders, they might not have a win against ANY top 15 opponents this season. "The process" is just a big black hole for fun and player development. "The process" is an argument to continue self-promotion.

Well... the way it's unfolded is interesting. What about now

Chaney
Schawle
Chucks
O’Rielly

Well #4 on your rankings won 7-0 over #3 today and then went on to win the Championship. That's 3 winning tourneys in a row. This guy just develops players and turns his teams in competitive teams by the summer, every year!

That was suppose to be the order.....but would have to agree O'Rielly did a good job with them. Good coach my sons have done training with him in the past. have they played Schawle yet? Chan's team not to hot this year either.

You Express parents are all delusional as usual. The only good team is the Chan team ! Others are a joke ! Schwalie team dropped to the B at Laxfest and still got smoked !

Fake news from a hater. Schwalje is a really good team and O'Reilly is solid.

Funny post, Just prepping for high school and even top collegiate lacrosse. HCs there regularly run "daddy ball" offenses whose first objective is not to win (its a like to but not a must have objective) but to highlight F&F. If you don't see that dynamic then you're as naive as they come. Most admins are focused on the revenue sports (the ones alums care about in high school and the ones that generate real revenue in college) and don't care about how the sausage is made as long as they don't lose too much and don't embarrass the athletic department.

Paying Millon the team dues he wants for his "boutique" events is almost like condoning his behavior. That is why several local teams chose to avoid his tourney this year.

Didn't Crabs lose to Smash 14-5 at NLF? What changed to think that they would be relevant?

You can bet at least one of his "All-Tourney" attackman was selected when the Invitational "Championship" was just a twinkle in his eye.

You can't rank either of these teams good or solid. Not bottom of the barrel B but average at best.

Unless Your son makes Chan's team (he will ask you to join), look else where.

The fact they also beat express at same tournament.
I do think that express and smash have an easy schedule. Won’t be tested first day.

Never really tested. Express lost to PT and never met up with Smash. But Smash wins the week in convincing fashion. They sit atop the group for this week. Two weeks to NLF and that will crown the summer champs.

My son plays for a top tier club in MD. 2200 includes fall tournaments and practices, winter indoor practice and agility sessions with a sports performance company, 2 spring leagues, 4 summer tournaments and practice 2 to 3 times per week spring-summer. Uniform package includes helmet, sweats, couple T-shirt’s and uniforms for games and practice.

JM or Marksberry or Dingleberry, or whatever you want to call the United coach is breaking off from 91 and forming his own club team. The only thing that team had going for it was being part of 9D1, but now that they are a separate organization, who would join? Dingleberry was a D3 player from Ithaca coaching at Farmingdale. Without 9D1, he has no connections.

Dingleberry keeps trying to play Smash, but we don't want to play them because they are no competition. Smash played United one time and United was up during the first 2 or 3 minutes, but then Smash demolished them 12-3. Since it was a 9D1 tourney, 9D1 was kind and posted a final score of 9-3 on tourney machine.

Parents are real unhappy on that team. Too many kids on that team.Total money grab. Dingleberry added an ex-Smash kid right before playing Smash. Yes, you heard that right. Dingleberry added so many kids during the year and added 2 more kids in June hoping to find a kid to make the team better to beat Smash. I feel sorry for the United parents paid and practiced together for 10 months and Dingleberry added 2 kids at the very end who didn't pay, but got to play the last 1.5 months. I am sure the kids who lost their starting spots are really happy about that. Parents say they have 30 man roster.

Now that Dingleberry is breaking off and forming his own team, you can bet that he will take more than 30 to make $$. Money now goes in his pocket since he owns his own team. Stay away from coaches who keep huge rosters, add kids throughout the year and run around thinking they are AA instead of solid B+ team. United should have competed in more mid level tournaments, conditioned their boys to win at that level and then considered AA tournaments instead of entering all AA teams at tournaments and losing so badly this year.

Based on your rants, you are obviously a parent or a coach on Smash with an axe to grind with Josh. "we don't want to play"? You really seem to be so caught living vicariously through your son's team that you don't realize how ridiculous your posts seem. Are there late additions of players that had nowhere else to play? Yes... They worked hard in practices to prove themselves. Are there kids on the team that sit? Yes.... and most of their parents were given the option to stay or move on. They chose to stay and watch their sons develop. Whether he played D3 or D1 is irrelevant to his ability to coach... So that point makes no sense. If you were well informed, you would also know that while he is separating from 91, he still has a relationship and the full support of those that also support 91. Adding kids had nothing to do with beating Smash. If United was so unworthy of playing Smash, why is it that only in that game did Jr. show up? Do you think the boys that played hard and got them to the championships deserved to sit so that he could play in just that one game against an "unworthy" team? Yes, I am a parent of a son that plays for Josh, and whichever direction he chooses, the majority of our team will follow. Not because we have to, or to win tournaments, but because he is a great coach and a great mentor for our sons. You should stop... take a breath... and just enjoy watching your son play lacrosse. It is a short period of time that you will have to enjoy it. Maybe reflect on how lucky you are that you get to experience this with your son and not be so disgustingly negative. If you really have an issue with Josh, you should "man" (or woman) up and call him. I have a sneaking suspicion you already have is number... I am sure he would be happy to hear from you.

When you say “we” don’t want to play them, are we now to assume that you are a smash parent? If that is the case, I don’t know what you are proud of. Your team is winning because of one kid. Everyone knows who he is. Smash was nothing for the last couple years and now all of a sudden they’re winning everything because one kid is selfish and scores all the goals. I wonder how the rest of the parents on the team feel – especially the parents of the other attackmen. You can all sit around and lie and say we don’t care because we know you all just want to win and it doesn’t matter how. Just keep drinking the orange Kool-Aid-and let’s not forget that he was reclassified. Hope you’re proud of yourselves.

No one wants to pay $3,500+ tuition and additional money all year long to watch other kids play. Josh told those kids if they want, they could leave, but he did not offer to refund anyone's money. He took their money, then added a bunch of kids. He was not capable of training his kids to be better, so he picked up other kids and added them for free! That's a fact. I am not bashing Josh, just letting people know what they are in for if they join Dingleberry's United.

You think Smash was nothing before JR? Your wrong. Fake news. Smash was winning since 3rd grade, everyone in 2022 knows that. JR joined Smash just this year. Read his Newsday stats for high school, he had 39 goals and 45 assists. He is not a ball hog at any level of play, he always gets more assists than goals for his high school and same for Smash.

Dingle/Marksberry and his United crew are writing all these posts how good United is because tryouts are around the corner. It stinks to lose so much and try to fool others about how good you are!.They won one small tournament all year and you don't see them at any real tournament other than Tristar, where they lost all 3 games in regular play and won 2 consolation bracket games to bad teams. Don't be fooled. Save your $3-4k and join a team whose coach is honorable and will not keep adding. Ask Dingle/Marksberry to offer a 100% refund in writing if he adds more than 2 kids after practice or if he keeps more than 25 kids on his roster. He will not do it.

The whole player added thing and guest player stuff I'll never understand. BIg deal, "we stay because the practice is great" I don't know who is to blame the parents who enable it or the coaches who just do it. And great answer, don't like you can leave? If that's true, it is so sad. Way to teach life lessons and mold young men.

Public service announcement. If any of you had a son that didn't play in game this year because the coach didn't put him for in for even one shift and you said nothing, well.... I know how would reacted. But maybe I am wrong and just don't understand it. Would love to hear a different perspective.
