There is another link for 2023 you should try it. Well I would think everyone on this 2024 site would be paying attention to the 2023 kids and teams. This is a DMV site and half these 2023 kids will be doing 8th grade twice in a couple years and will then be 2024 so I suggest you follow this grade level also.

91 MD wins Fantastic 12 at John Carroll Guest players from TX and NC involved? Looking at the scores you would have to think something was up. Go 2-1 in pool play...trying to figure out how they got the higher seed than BL, but that’s another story..to blowing our the top 2 teams at 24. HoCo championship was a 1 goal game between ML and T91MD that could have gone either way. Then two weeks later T91MD beats ML 10-4. Not the same T91MD team and not the same refs. T91MD is good but they are not that good. Lots of home cooking. Same thing in the Taz final. Only a total loser blames refs. You think they actually care who wins a 6th grade game? Let me guess. You are one of those stunands who yells all game long. From what I saw , the Goalie from 91 MD was the difference maker in the ML and Final game against TAZ. Goalie made game winning saves. That was the difference. Goalie play was lights out.

Questionable re calls included, but are not limited to:
1. allowing Team91 to call a time-out before touching in the offensive box to prevent a failure to advance call. Tournament rule "Timeouts are only called as per ncaa rules once the team calling the timeout has possession in their offensive box." 2. Giving Team91 two timeouts in the semifinal game with rules say one is allowed. 3. Seeding Team91 higher than BLC in the playoff brackets with BLC was the higher seed. 4. Allowing clear goalie interference call that resulted in a Team91 goal. 5. watching Attack go off-sides (in front of ref) but not calling it even though ref turned to count players.
So, yes, one-sided referring happens and it well-known to occur in the Team91 sponsored events.

Wish I’d had a chance to study all the game film from the whole tournament and taken detailed notes to post a week later. I’d stay on this all summer; follow all the refs around to see if they hitched a ride with the 91 coach or are flashing a lot of cash around the Greene Turtle.

Is that why it’s the only final game not posted? Or is that not the real score?

That would be a surprise. Hawks can be tough, but not quite that strong.

That’s a great win for Hawks. Good for them. They must have added a player or two since the spring or just had a very nice effort. Either way, nice to see HOCO representing!

That was the actual score (7-1) Hawks. Not sure why the NLF hasn't posted it. Hawks simply played well in the final.

What! Yes, I agree. A ridiculous post. So to win you need holdbacks? Any team can be beaten at any time. The core of that Hawks team has been together for awhile. They have been knocking on the door since last year. Wolfpack just lost, it happens!

That’s too funny. Watch the darn game on the ESPN app and judge for yourself. Madlax ran that game for 3 out of 4 quarters. LIE played really well and the difference was the goalies. It was a great game. Marking 24 out of the game had notta to do with it. What is interesting though as an impartial viewer was the fact that the top two scorers who had 7 of the Express goals were nameless on the roster according to the commentators...hmmm. Regardless, congrats to Express they played well and clearly have become the dominant LI team since the fall. WP isn’t even in the convo anymore....done deal for them and potentially Taz too.

Express is a great LI team that beat you fair and square. WP AND TAZ won almost every game again express this year. That said there is a lot more parity amongst the teams now. Which is a good thing . In another year when our 12 year olds grow as big as your 14 year olds Maryland won’t have a chance .

Express = cheaters. Top scorer in NLF championship wasn't even on the roster. Announcers pointed it out repeatedly during broadcast. The kid wasn't even wearing an Express helmet. It is from another team with the #22. Sounds like Express has some explaining to do.

Game was tied in the 4th quarter. LIE got the benefit of the questionable penalty and scored on EMO and the game swung in LIE's favor. Saying Madlax was exposed is just plain stupid.

The ESPN commentators seemed to be much more impressed with MadLax players. Even noted that they ran more mid lines. Seemed like LIE relied on 2 guys. Not sure that works in a two-day Summer tournament, which is something Mark Dillon pointed out.

No shame in losing to a LI team. You must be use to it by now.
