You call someone slow yet you have missed the entire point. I notice that you also have difficulty debating what was actually written. Instead, you prefer to change things a bit and then present your insane argument. Get it through you think head, you are the only misfit on here carrying on about bigger/taller is always better.
Can you even recall the original question or is that too much to ask? The poster asked if coaches had a "profile" and someone provided an answer which showed that many girls of different heights were recruited by many of the best college programs (none appeared to be excluded for not meeting the profile). Based on the actual kids that were recruited, it does not appear that coaches will exclude girls for not being tall enough. Can you grasp that or is it too difficult for you? Take a look at the top programs in the country, they have players of varying height the large majority of the which are between 5'4 and 5'7" (not exactly tall). It is not height that makes them the best players in the country. The same with your tennis star, It is not her height that makes her great. Can you follow, can you understand? Also, I have not read any posts indicating that shorter is always better. What I have seen is people indicating that coaches look at many factors when they are recruiting and height is not a major concern.

Why are we still talking about this

When was the last time Ward Melville won a State? how about Riverhead? Either Smithtown? Lynbrook? BBP? CSH? Thats right never at least they have won 1 (or 4). They also did very well last year. I remember a time not to long ago Mt Salina wasn't very good , but turns it around in a short time. BBP was a joke 3 years ago. Riverhead still is. Anything can happen so don't be so obnoxious about a school that has a better winning history than your daughters school does

Field Hockey ? That's funny. Sad to say but on the island I am not sure you can even consider it a sport. With the exception of GC it is the sport for kids that get cut from soccer. Hate being negative but that is just reality. How many high schools on Long Island even have a team?

New to Lacrosse I guess

When will the Nassau power conference be announced? Who is sandbagging this year by begging out and who will jumping up and down to join? Could be the best top to bottom division in the country. Why doesn't Suffolk go this route. Everyone is pretty tired of seeing girls score 300 points against terrible teams and horrible coaching that allows teams to beat Copaigue 30-2

You are a joke....have you ever seen Ward Melville or ESM play field hockey? Good try though. Garden City has sub par athletes with one outstanding player in lacrosse. The coaching is what gets it done.

The sport is unwatchable and nobody cares. This is a lacrosse forum . We will have to disagree about the level of athletes in GC but I will agree regarding coaching. You need to come in out of the boondocks every once in a while it will help with your perception about athletes.

GC has sub-par athletes? Soccer state title 2013, Lacrosse state titles 2016 and 2017. Field hockey and/or soccer state finalists 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017.

Looks like these "sub-par" athletes are getting things done

As a team they get it done when they go off as individuals and play at their respective schools you will never hear of them.

Maybe you have never heard of Barbara Sullivan, Tarzian, Rix, Weiss, O’Hanlon, Lynch, the Defliese sisters, Brennan, to name a few.

Just because the majority of GC players don’t make a career out of lax post graduation, doesn’t mean they didn’t have successful collegiate careers.

Ummm... lacrosse is a team game. A concept so many of you struggle with.

You need to check your reality. Field hockey in Suffolk County very competitive, fielding a ton of lacrosse girls in districts from N-port, ESM, WM, SE and Sachem East and many more.

Have to agree with the original poster on this one. Give GC credit for a quality lacrosse program and strong teams spanning the years, with several decent college impact players, but for all their success as a program, that number of players, you would expect, should be much greater and the impact in college to be much bigger.

Both were better than Manhasset last year as well!!

They will just have to be content
Watching their incompetent hapless coaches allow the selfish players
keep their teams from winning a championship.
