Rotolo's team beat Legacy simply because Legacy lost their top 4 players to a soccer tournament after the third game so they didn't play in the championship. Rotolo's win was a fluke-just like when TruBlue beat Taz-won't ever happen again. Rotolo's team also lost to Shore 2 Shore at Blatant when Greaney's team beat them at the same tournament. Also heard that Greaney's team squashed Rotolo in a scrimmage. Greaney's team is much better. If true , why Was greaneys team put in B division at the Blatant? What excuse can you use for that? At least true blue put themselves in the A bracket knowing they would be squashed , it shows they had pride. So those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Rotolo's team won when it counted . If you are an A team start playing in the A division otherwise keep off the thread with your stupidity. Squashed? They lost to express by 2 goals and Igloo A in overtime. I would not consider that squashed. Only game they got squashed was by Taz but they also beat Taz once. Unlike express igloo and any others (who always get squashed by taz) Here is the breakdown. Rotolo claims to be an A team but he is too scared to enter his team in an A tournament. His players love him, that's great but they are too blind to see the disservice he does them by never letting them play competition better than them. Whats the point of being the top B Team? How many [lacrosse] T-Shirts do you need? Especially when he shortens the bench and doesn't let certain kids play in a B division tourney, sad. That is why Greaney team "THE SELECT" team will always be better players. They enjoy playing the best competition. That's what helps ATHLETES improve. Will they beat TAZ and Wolfpack NO but they are not afraid to play them and try. Have fun and become a better player than last year, that's all you should want and 11 year old to do.

can’t stand MadLax. .... and hate their coach.... but that big kid is on age. We had concerns last year and thought he was a holdback. We confirmed he’s on age..... just damn good. More has been written about this one kid than probably any other youth lacrosse player in the country. If you want your kid to play with the best, get used to him playing with/against him. Yesterday our team tent was near Madlax's tent and we could see the kid and how he interacted with his teammates. You could tell that he was a normal kid that was well liked by his teammates. I've got a lot of respect for a true two way middie. A lot of parents insist that their kid play attack and get all the glory. Not this kid. He played his heart out dominating on both ends of the field. No one ever said that child was a bad Player. He looks Big now, because he is older. Maryland age cut off is different. it will all change soon enough MADLAX pound your chests while you can!!! ManBOY with the wins yesterday..... Mad lax not so much. Give the kid props. 4 out 5 goals in express game 1 including ot winner. 7 of 9 goals in the semi final vs express including the OT winner. Wins 75% of faceoffs, clears the ball everytime, great defense. You are either the kids' mom or a moron or both.

Hey Taz defender dad, don't forget that your name is on your son's jersey. Using that information, we were able to trace your posts from this Summer to present, and match up your work and home address with your IP address. We don't talk trash about your kid. You shouldn't talk trash about our kids. If you don't stop your posts, we will contact the Legacy director and politely ask him to remove your son from the team. If that doesn't work, we will send your information to the media and let them run with the story. Your choice.

Actually this was probably an Express parent just being nice because the info is slighly off. In game 1, the OT winner was scored by one of the attack. An incredible player that doesn't get enough credit.

Either way you had a chance that day to play Taz, Igloo express and TB. But you played in the B division . OOPS I MEANT A DIVISON. Or what ever division that makes you sleep better at night.

can’t stand MadLax. .... and hate their coach.... but that big kid is on age. Girlfriend, you obviously are clueless when it comes to the sport of lacrosse. Let me help you here. If you are a foot or more latger than all the kids on the field, I could put you out there and get a very similar result. That help??

There is no Outlaws 2024 A Team. That is why instead of using terms like Elite or Select they are called "Team Rotolo" or "Team Greaney". They are two B Teams. Not sure which team is better but they are certainly not A teams. Right, cause there are only 4 A teams on LI. Why do you people keep forgetting that

Rotolo won, Greaney lost. Then Greaney went to a weak bulldog tourney and played B division. What the [lacrosse] are you talking about. Last year? See where they are in the spring

Yeah only in OT and man boy got the ball - what a surprise...think the same thing happened to LI express the game before. Cheaters. Start packing up when games tied bc you know man boy will get it and run it through!! Oh on a side note glad to see man boy got his stick knocked out and flung from his hands by a true 2024!!! That kid is a true 2024 and would be on age if this was age based. Your jealously is sad. Admit that NOBODY can hang with this Madlax this. Been dominant since day one. He may be a true 2024, but he is either 12 or 13 years old. Won't be seeing him in Denver, that's for sure... right Mad Daddy?!!! I wouldn't call beating teams by 1 goal... "dominant", there Mad Daddy. Put down your red solo cup. The games have been over for a couple of days now. Pretty sorry, with all of the Hold backs, you can only beat an 11 year old team by a goal in over time, by the jolly green giant. Just imagine how they'd do without all of the hold backs?!!!

Why go to Denver and spend all that money and get humiliated out there, since you can’t bring half your team. Yeah, that would be a total waste of money although i don’t think money grab is the correct terminology. But thank you for confirming all of the hold backs for us. You just confirmed that mad Lax and the rest of the MD teams are stacked with hold backs. Nothing we didn’t know of course, but the confirmation of being a bunch of cheaters is appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Rotolo did win the Blatant B division and was also cheering against the other outlaw team when they beat Shore to Shore (the team that Rotolo had lost to during the day). Must be a class act coach.
Success of these teams will depend on the approach of parents. Rotolo will win B championships with a strong team of some A level players. Team Greaney will get pushed around in A because they are not a A team. Tough position for Outlaws b/c neither team is an A level Team.

Outlaws 2x, Igloo B, S2S, Express B, 91B, Legacy Launch, etc. Sure they are not the best teams on LI but all are solid and most games between them will be close.

Once again this leads to the notion that there are only 4 A teams on Long Island. All those teams mentioned would probably considered A teams in other states and yes that includes Maryland. No question there are definitely 4 teams that are at the top but the rest of those teams could fill that tier. Remember as bad as the Giants are, they are still a NFL franchise.

If yes, to either, are you asking this question seriously??! 2. The lack of clear and accurate (honest?) assessment of what teams belong in which levels makes the idea of assessing individuals as to level even that much more difficult. Beyond the obvious AA teams and top players, it is a mess. And grade-based play only adds more mud to this problem. 3. There are 'A' players on 'B' teams that chose to for more playing time than sitting on a bench with an 'A' team - take every Express A team as prime example. 4. If you are truly an 'A' level player, but were not selected to an A team, what exactly are you supposed to do - not play??!

Agree with this. He may be bigger, but other players are hitting growth spurts and the gap is closing, and it will all be irrelevant in a year or two. (My son defends against him and reports that he’s a nice kid, fwiw, which is not always the case).

Rotolo was not cheering against Greaney team. 1. That’s not his style. 2. If S2S won, Rotolo would not have made championship. If by A teams you are referring to WP, Taz and Express then you are correct. Against any other team on LI they will do well. And since I’m sure those are the only teams you consider A teams then everyone else is a B team. Winning B tournaments is pretty good.

OK then, is it an ABJECT LIE that Rotolo shortens the bench in championship games. If it is, he is not a good coach he is a sheep in wolf's clothing. That is just not fair and how about the parents of these poor kids paying over $2000 dollars and their kid doesn't see the field in the big game. Great message by this coach "You are good enough so we can at least put a team together but you suck to much to play in important games". I see it and understand in an A or AA division big games but in a B division, just not right

Well if greaney is an A team why would a kid Play on the B team with Rotolo. . that's my point. You see . there are plenty of A teams out there. Plenty... I seen Greaneys team play and there are plenty of spots for an A player.

This is pretty funny, "your choice"
