You can always spot the newbies, its fall lacrosse it means little win or lose . That sais the MD teams have the advantage more so in the fall when playing in their own back yards. Kids that play soccer or volleyball or field hockey on LI are likely no shows . Check the fall roster its all Blue players. CR doesn't list your daughters name if you don't pay. Newbie Wrong again newbie , first if your kid is one of the better players she will list you without paying . Second there will be several listed players who are no shows , it's always the case in fall ball and if you were not such a newbie you would know this . Now I see why this 2023 team is so pathetic , parents like you .

Damn. They already beat TG with last years team and they got a new coach. And TG beat them. Even record. Unfortunately a new coach is not always a good thing.

Relaxed Fall ball? Is that why Thorn is coaching? Its another tryout Thorn saw the girls in small sided scrimmages last week, this week its full field against a great Maryland team.
Don't think these games don't matter. Evaluating players is an ongoing process.
Evaluating?? LOL. Might as well have Daffy Duck evaluate! As you can see, she's done a stellar job over the last 3 years.

But I I doubt anyone will leave ... coaches cares very little about developing those players. Other clubs at least value their teams. And work on developing skills.

They won't wait until next year , things aren't getting better and I'm sure other clubs would welcome our girls.

YJ used to be able to put up 3 quality teams in age group now they will have 1. Most parents aren't willing to settle for a YJ 2nd team and be treated like a second hand citizen. What happened to the Gold team at Lax for the Cure was a joke putting them in the A bracket while Blue is put in a much lower level bracket. There are lots of options and parents are not willing to settle for the team they are placed on at YJ anymore.

Both YJ and Legacy lost to M&D. YJ 10-3 and Legacy 11-1 both teams seemed to be even skill wise while YJ the more physical of the two.
