They aren’t big. Your kid is just a (lacrosse). I’m sure they have a few 05 birthdays. As does all the other top teams.

Do you all hear yourselves??? All these arguments on here, and on the fields are All based off the fact that all teams are in question of playing older boys to get a win.
The definition of insane, is to keep doing the same things over and over with the same result. So Stop! Make it easy on ourselves.Let's Put together roster's (every club team has one)with birth certificates. Last I checked all the boys received one. Hand your rosters in at tournaments. I will tell you from a parents perspective it will make me feel more comfortable with opposing team parents. From a coaching standpoint I get a better gage on the performance of my players.

While I am an advocate for age-based youth lax for pre-HS players, the current 'rules' are grade-based. Collecting birth certificates is meaningless in that landscape - you'd be better off collecting some type of certification from a school as to what grade the player was currently enrolled under, but those would be even less consistent in standards than BCs are! The answer to this whole thing is to move to age-based play, and then BCs are what governs level of play! USL has only option to force this, and that is via their insurance - the question is whether they will go with this nuclear option.

From your lips to USL's ears. There are so many parents that agree with you.

Yo ignoramus - stop assuming that everyone that is on a thread is the same person or persons. The last couple posts about age-based lacrosse did not bash anyone nor even call into question that a team used or didn't use off-grade boys. But an age-based system of play would greatly remove that possibility as well as get rid of holdbacks and mismatches due to grade-based age differences by state.

My son's 2024 team uses ZERO 2023s - the same for my son's 2021 team - no 2020s!

If your son plays football with the 2023's he is a holdback in lax

You guys have serious issues.

1. None of you guys are within 6 goals of us. Madlax will dominate this fall as we did the summer and the years before that.

2. Your obsession with holdbacks is sad and funny.

Another person who can't read - go back and [lacrosse] slap your teachers for convincing you and your parents that you had been adequately educated! Which part of "pre-HS age" confused you most??! I mean, there wasn't even a multisyllabic word contained there. Maybe it was the hyphen??!

You are clearly a newbie. This topic has been beaten to death for years. Back when 2021s were in 4th grade. They are now in high school. Nothing has changed and it never will. So either hold your kid back or shut about it. It’s the way it works now.

Btw, you don’t even have to hold your kid back. Just tell the director you plan to and bingo you’re cleared to play down

There are just to many lies. True Blue did not bring anyone from out of state nor did they bring anyone down. The older team was playing at S2S. The B team was there but 2024 beat them in a scrimmage easily. And who would honestly bring kids from out of state? Lol. True Blue has been growing, The 2023s are top 4 and the 2024s are now top 4 and only going up. The 2025s will also be competitive this year. The only reason you other parents say negative things is because you never believed that these teams were top teams because you pay twice as much. In reality it is about coaching and not how much you pay. There are more than just 3 A teams. TB has been practicing 2x a week for a long time. They have made a lot of progress and will continue to. Good for them for working hard. Don't make lies and excuses for them doing a good job.

Totally not a newbie here, and I won't stop advocating for what EVERY OTHER SPORT has long figured out. The whole "we're right and EVERYONE else is wrong" attitude is so laughable, it's pathetic.

They are a pickup team of Taz, TLI and others. Always very good no matter what group of boys are able to play that particular day.
