Channy changing his name to Cheater. Anything for a win with that slime bucket. The 2024 kids he has are in 6th grade. Their parents must be proud thst their 6th grader is doing great with the 5th graders. New team 2025 Cheaters or better yet 2025 Express Slime If he is reclassifying kids and playing them on the 2025 team when they are actually still attending school in the 6th grade, then directors and coaches of other teams need to obtain the proof and file with each tournament that Channys team attends. It can’t be that hard to get proof on a few kids if this is happening. He has many good athletes without doing this, so it’s a really stupid risk to take. HAHAHA!!! What planet are you from? what proof? This is going on with every grade group with ALL the clubs. It is so ridiculous. And if you think little Johnny is playing with all 10yr olds your crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy! all the best players on his team are 11 already.or going to be 11 within the next two months. Not a single kid is in 6th grade. Not one. There may be kids that have been heldback for various reasons (or started kindergarten later), but that's how it works. LI teams are grade based. The tournaments they enter are grade based. The middle school, JV and Varsty teams they will play on will be grade based. If they play in college, they will be playing against kids that they graduated with or older. Long Island lacrosse is grade based, not age. Maryland is grade based (and they are much worse because they have kids go to pre-first, a grade between k and 1), Massachusettes, Pennsylvania, Jersey, Florida are grade based. Are you beginning to understand this now? You say that their may be kids turning 11 in a few months. And??? The cutoff for NY schools is December 1st. A kid born on that day is a true 5th grader. Many of these "holdbacks" were born September, October and November and the parents felt that they were not developmentally ready to begin school. Get over it. It will never change. And if you son is a decent athlete, the few months difference should not really matter. Flat out lie. There are definitely 6th graders on the team. These people are friends with parents on other team and know what grade they are in. Don’t be a liar. And it will change because the lacrosse World Series changed over to age not graduation year two years ago so everyone will be forced to follow. And when lacrosse changes to age like every other sport has, all you cheating parents will be out of luck and your kids will be below average players on their grade level. What a loser you are to lie and defend the practice. That’s why your kid will always be a loser like you. 'Defending' something purely using the argument that "it's the status quo" isn't even defending it - there is NO argument to support grade-based play, and it the reason why EVERY OTHER YOUTH SPORT has gone away from it.

Now based off the last post if WSL is age based and the boy in 6th grade was born after the Sept 1st cutoff. making him 11 the correct age for World Series. Then why can he then not play in the 2025 division? I personally have no problem with that.He is playing vs kids that are his age. With all the holdbacks for whatever reason they were held back.

First of all, WSYL isn’t attracting the top talent anymore, and it’s only been 2 years. Maryland clubs have written it off. No one is changing anything because of that. Also, how is having a 5th grader who turns 12 Ins November cheating? Teams are based on graduation year. Express, Legacy, Outlaws, Igloo, Ducks, etc.. are not U11 teams. They are 2025. So don’t get your panties once a bunch. Is junior going to have to play against these kids every year in School? Yes. Are you going to cry every game then? Better invest in some tissues, lady, because this is the reality.

Cheating is cheating, one or more, and there are definitely more than one that wouldn’t fall within the cutoff date and are in different grades. We all know it. And parents of regular age kids that would play their kid on a cheating team like this for a T-shirt has issues. Great lesson for your kids. And the only meathead is you. Get a life. Your kid still sucks and is going to turn into the short, bald, out of shape unathletic nome you are. Let us know how the B westchester tournament turns out. You should be real happy with your T-shirt. What a loser.

I have a serious question about the Sweaty Butts. Is it all coaches egos? Or do their kids really not play much on their other teams so the figure they can come play developmental teams and prove they’re not the worst kids on the team?

Columbus Day, nope. Havoc, nope. Blatant, nope. Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin Invitational at Purchase, yep. What a joke. The coaches obviously saw what they had and decided tournaments were probably not such a good idea. They need to practice heavy before their figurehead coaches move on to their important teams.

Just a bunch of kids who’s fathers are trying to live vicarious through. Most aren’t the best on their respective teams. Maybe one or 2. If their kids were the top tier they wouldn’t waste their time in tournaments like this and risk getting injury or burning out in a meaningless tournaments. Let them have their glory it’s all they’ll ever have.

Thoughts on a decent weak A/strong B team other than Legacy or Express. The team my son is on cannot field an extra practice. And for regular practice it is always the same 10-12 kids that show up. As it gets colder it will only get worse. I think the coaches are getting frustrated too. Half the team is new to travel lacrosse.

Which team is your son on? One of the 2 mentioned. The coaches are really great. Nothing against them. I actually feel bad for the coaches. A few of the parents that have been with team for some time say it seems they do not get an opportunity to keep a team together. Kids get pulled up and do not play (which the parents are ok with), they leave for another club or just decide not to do travel anymore. I understand teams will add a few players but half a team? The roster is just as big as their A team now. And b/c the coaches are fair, kids will get equal playing time regardless if they are at practice or not.

Channy changing his name to Cheater. Anything for a win with that slime bucket. The 2024 kids he has are in 6th grade. Their parents must be proud thst their 6th grader is doing great with the 5th graders. New team 2025 Cheaters or better yet 2025 Express Slime i don't understand your post. 2024 kids are suppose to be in 6th grade. they graduate in june of 2024. I think they are saying he has 2024, 6th graders, on his 2025 team. Not sure I get the point, holdbacks don't really make a major impact until 7th and 8th grade when they have an extra year of puberty. Of course, unless the kid has Eyetalian blood and hits puberty in 5th grade. It’s the new Express format! Express has kids in every grade playing down. 2024 playing with 2025. 2023 playing with 2024 and so on for a lot of their A teams.

Try the ducks, they are a great B team. Some good talent there. I'm guessing your son plays on this organizations B team? This is the exact reason why B teams for an organization are no good. My advice, go find a club where there is only 1 team per age group..... There are plenty around for this age Go ask around with Recon, Outlaws, True Blue, Bluefish, Millon, Icon

Then I wonder why thehell am I paying all this money for an upgraded PAL team. It could work if the A team coach stops hoarding kids.

Express model: 35 kids per team on the roster with over 50% almost never seeing the field other than in blowouts! No thank you! - no player should have to deal with that until you get to college, especially when you're paying to play!

Might have to make a move before the next payment is due.
