I know its ran by 9d1 but the fall lacrosse one they do was good, out in sachem. If your team is willing to drive a bit the one up @ Yale is good too. I am a bit biased against express, so just one persons opinion.

What tournaments are good in your opinion? Blatant in October is a well run tournament. And the Fall Lax classic in November also is a good one. If you are just looking at Long Island.

What tournaments are good in your opinion? There are no such thing as a good fall tournament. Football season. Tournaments should be spring/summer only. Want a play day in the fall....go ahead Meathead

How many tournaments will the nuts/laxin team play in this year? Your question is irrelevant. Let me explain. The Sweaty Nuts team plays only when Blast, Geese and Ducks are off. Since Geese and Blast will never play in the same tourney, that leaves very few available weekends. So, they will play in tournaments that are less desirable to the top team. This results in them playing in smaller tourneys against weaker teams, robbing those boys of opportunities for a tourney win. It’s a shame that those coaches need to put that team in those events. If you know the coaches, you know that they have an over-inflated opinion of their own boys. They are simply average. Daddy ball at its best. Just because their kids are not good enough to get minutes on their main teams, doesn’t mean they should pull the good players from those teams. Hey, guess what genius, it is Daddy ball, that's exactly what it is! You might have noticed the guys on the sideline spend 0 time coaching and just get the kids out and let them loose. So all of the teams with so called real coaches should be ashamed of themselves. But ask Express if they were in a B Tournament when the 'Nuts spanked them last year. 'Ain't that a kick in the ..... That’s how you justify it? Your son is going to grow up to be a loose loser like you. Get an life moron. If you want a T- shirt that badly, tell me where you want it to be left and I'll drop it off. Junior has plenty of shirts that say Champs so he won't miss one. Sadly junior was reduced to nothing when we spanked you in Pal. Funny how he’s nothing when he’s not surrounded by studs?

At this point score doesn't make a difference. These two teams are head and shoulders above the rest. The top 12-13 on each side is evenly matched. They play at such a high level it is amazing. They will trade wins and losses for many years to come.

Sometimes you forget that you are watching 10 year old's play with how talented they are. Those two teams will battle all year. It would be nice to get Blast in the mix with them.

I'm sure TAZ parents were saying same thing. Head and shoulders above the rest. A tournament, B tournament, C tournament. This team is afraid, that team is afraid. Blah, blah, blah. Point is teams catch up and nobody is afraid to play anybody in 10 year old lacrosse. You got to be out of your mind to think that. Teams are entered in tournaments based on what's convenient for the organization, it might be money, coaches schedules, some coaches have a few teams and can't be at 2 or 3 places at once, so multiple teams get entered in same tournament. There is not one player, parent or coach that I have ever seen, that said I'm afraid to play that team. It's not the UFC, its 10 year old kids playing lacrosse. That's all it is.

It is a bigger business than you think. These young teams are extremely crucial in the success of the organizations. Certain group at this age have done a good job to try to avoid the fray and keep the main competitor away while making their parents think they are ducking them. Easy to get away with when you play in your own events.

Teams change from year to year especially at this level as kids mature and develop as players, plus as new kids come on the team, and as coaching staff changes are made. If you look at 2024 games at the tournament this weekend, you realize anything is possible. In those games Taz lost a game to TrueBlue. No one would have thought that would have happened, but it did. And that’s what makes it exciting to watch. Either way sounds like will be an interesting season.

Tournament schedules come out soon if not already. If a team has a scheduled tournament and then they cancel it, I guess that can be avoiding the fray as you say. I've never seen that and I have 3 kids, 2 in high school. Besides I don't classify a kids team losing a game as fray. Maybe because I have 2 older kids and been through this already. Losing is part of sports, it happens teams win and teams lose. If teams are getting crushed or doing the crushing they need to maybe move up or down a bracket. I understand that. In my opinion competitive games are what's good for business.

How about a little love for the Ducks after the disrespect on the board. They ended up pretty much even with the geese in respect to everything including their result against Express. If the geese didn’t play the team that only scored 3 goals in the entire tournament it might have been the Ducks in the championship, not the geese. Not to take anything away from the geese and their championship, they are a solid team, and not claiming the Ducks are the best team in 2025, but I think they proved they earn enough respect to be called an A team and will be very competitive against the other 3 everyone is claiming to be the best. Don’t be surprised if they take you down every now and again. There is no more dominance as the boys get older and those that matured early and were animals in grades k-3, may not cut it anymore. Going to be a fun year in 2025! How about we all enjoy it respectfully and let the boys have fun and not be insulted by immature adults on this board.

You probably would have taken a similar beating from the Geese and would have complained that they put you against both of those teams. Have your coach call the Geese coach and ask for a scrimmage.

Express lost the championship because they had the wind and rain in their face the entire game. The refs wouldn’t switch sides because it was legacy’s tournament and the geese coaches said no. Besides, no one wants to scrimmage the geese, they want to scrimmage teams that play real lacrosse. Not one on one ball and hope their wild shot goes in like the geese play. Their coaching is well below average. Express has the best ball movement in the 5th grade which you obviously know by the jealous comments. Teams want to scrimmage a real team like express, that’s why they get asked. Geese may have won that second game but Express is the better coached team by far. They play team ball. Geese have a bunch of athletes on the field with no purpose. Geese aren’t all that, but you know it or you wouldn’t be lobbying for respect. You can scream as loud as you like but they are just like everyone else. Huge holes and can beaten just like everyone else. You have to have your head examined to let your 10 year old son play on that team. But I get it, you want him on the team for the scholarship. Hate to tell you, he’s not getting it, he’s not that good. Keep dreaming. But don’t worry. You’ll have a tournament soon enough to yell and scream at the other parents and your coach while the rest of the lacrosse community laughs at you. Go geese! Poor kids.

You people are nuts haven't the Geese beaten express way more then express beat them? Channy played 14 kids in both games. Geese played everyone in first game and shortened the bench in championship. That was the difference. As far as. Enter ball Movement goes express has 2 middys that dodge right every time that's there entire team. Geese won the championship against express again that makes them better until the next matchup.

Fiore has outcoached Channy at least 7 times in last year. Amazing what you can get kids to do when they love and respect the coaching instead of fearing the results of not playing well. Tough to get that when you have to call kids by their jersey number because he is not around long enough to know the names. And while you were enjoying a crappy day in farmingdale last year playing the same teams we were in the mountains of Lehigh Pa playing and beating teams one to two years older. When your coaches get to know your kids he knows what they need instead of listening to the handful of crazy parents who are worried about the other crazies talking about them. Enjoy your nice weekend in Holtsville we will wave in our way back from back from pumpkin picking

Enjoy your nice weekend in Holtsville we will wave in our way back from back from pumpkin picking That really makes zero sense and simply inaccurate. And I believe the Geese played in this tourney last year. And now that you're taking the weekend off (which is cool) it's not a good tourney.

Is that the secret to the geese's success. Thank you for keeping us informed.. You seem to have a great interest in a 10yr old legacy team. I am guessing your little all-star must have been burnt by the geese in the past. What a shame, hopefully you will be able to move on with your life soon, I am sure junior already has. You sound like you have a lot of hate built up over 10yrs olds playing a game. I think you maybe in this for the wrong reason. I am sure everyone reading this feels for you.
