[quote=Anonymous][quote=Anonymous][quote=Anonymous]What REAL tournament had TG won? Lax for Cure? No...didn't make playouffs. Nationals? No...ended up in 3rd place by 1 goal to team you're supposed to be so superior to. Did you even beat a single MD of any quality (MD Black, MD United, Skywalkers, Heros)? No. We beat them all. These teams are so very close that your arrogance us so overboard you come across as a tremendous windbad. Get a grip.
You sound like an uniformed fool. Stop going to the All Star Express
and 3rd bracket of Laxin out loud. Play the MD teams in a full game like TG. Lax for the cure you played in a pal division of course you made the playoffs. Wright's team played in an A bracket. Not one A team in YJ A bracket. Hopefully this summer you enter competitive tournaments. Igloo embarrassed you twice also another team you should avoid.
Who won lax for the cure 2023 division ? You also won the All star express and 3rd bracket of Laxin out loud don't short change your team. Lol, poster needs to realize that YJ is just not that good anymore, and about to get worse. Nobody cares about YJA or B for that matter. Irrelevant teams. Another disappointing summer for the organization. Not even in the conversation for best team on the Island. Can’t wait to watch Igloo and TG school you again. Also, let us know when you beat a MD team in a full game! Was actually asking an honest question as my older kid has played in LFC over the years and it used to be competititive with several of the better Maryland teams attending. Had no idea who won the 2023 age group but apparently you bunch of insecure losers could not answer a simple question . What's interesting is that the better LI teams used to be in the discussion and many times were clearly the best in the country now you bunch of losers are happy to declare yourselves the best team of a below mediocre bunch , the talent in this 2023 group only indicates that the talent level on LI has dropped , at least in this pathetic group. Another moron flapping their lips. You need to go back and read. TG has beaten (not just once) all best MD as well as LI teams last summer with the exception of Heros, who they didn’t play. YJ only beat MD teams 1 time in shortened games which questions validity. They also lost badly to Igloo. Any team can have a good or bad day. It is about overall consistency. TG just has a better overall body of work at this time. There are 3 teams in LI who are competitive with MD teams TG, YJ, and Igloo. Right now TG has separated themselves. They are the best team on Long Island and in the top cohort for the age group (there is no one team that has a record that would place them at #1) makes for great competitive games and tournaments. To say that talent has dropped on LI is a rediculous statement with no supporting data. Supporting data ? You clowns are bragging about making it into the finals of most tournaments you have played in , PATHETIC. I did get to read that you lost to NXT , sorry but no other age group TG black team would lose to NXT .The fact that Igloo won that tournament when the playing field is leveled makes them the best 2023 team on LI, Igloo 2-0 vs YJ. Igloo 1-2 vs TG. You can't be the best team and have a losing record against another LI team. Igloo sucks, they won one real tournament in 3 years. I wouldn't even consider them a club but rather a team. There is only one team they nurture and care about and that is daddy's team. 1-3 against TG lost at hofstra twice and national draw.

Igloo beat YJ badly, that is the reason they're ahead of them. We are about to watch YJ slip even further behind TG and Igloo. The gap is growing, and it's not pretty.

New 91 players and YJ blue have been gelling well in practice. Will be a better season adding all the new players to the team. Gelling before try outs, nice. seriously...? Continuing to get worse! OMG! Now this team is a D team! Stop it now!! lets hope its a fair tryout and see the real girls rise to the top! Stop with the nonsense of bringing teams over that aren't even close to a top level! its such a joke!!! fair tryout ?! really there is no such thing

YJ - 105 TG - 58 Igloo - 0 How many teams from each club make up those numbers above? My guess is: YJ - 10 TG - 4 Igloo - 0 Numbers can be very misleading. How does the number of commitments from a club during the 2016-2017 graduation years impact your daughter? Very odd post. Don't worry about which team is better or which club has more commitments. Just focus on your daughter. Is she developing and more importantly having fun? Enjoy watching her play. It goes way to fast.

YJ - 105 TG - 58 Igloo - 0 Nobody cares. That has nothing to do with the 2023 girls. Why don’t you give us an update for this age group when they’re in 11th grade. Right now you should worry about why YJ is unable to beat at least 2 other LI teams!

Are you really this ignorant or acting this ignorant .There have been many of the best players in the country who have had limited interest coming out of high school . The player that can go anywhere they choose are very few and far between and believe me your kid is not one of them . Igloo is a one team club. They went to Nationals and only had a 2023 team entered. They will have limited exposure and won't be able to get into the recruiting tournament by entering one team. The coaches daughter will get recruited by attending college camps and the other players will be on the outside looking in.

Definitely not that good. When CR makes sweetheart deals with 91 and brings girls on the so called "A" team with out a tryout, they are in a huge decline. Her customers see it and are sick of it. YJ is a joke just like her under performing HS team. Just a stroke of luck that they won the state championship. It was definitely NOT because of her leadership or coaching ability. For example , look what happened under her leadership with her HS team in FL last year. Look at the nonsense that went on at tryouts last year at YJ. BT got scolded for not paying attention. Obviously she has no respect either. Not that it mattered, teams were pre determined. If her players respected her, none of that crap would have happened in FL. She knows it and will grab every last $$ on her way out. JOKE

Obviously without mentioning names but who are all these 91 girls that are going to YJ that is causing an uproar?? Is it even the top players from that 91 team??? From what I heard the top girls from that 91 team landed already. So outside the goalie how many kids are realistically taking spots from the YJ A (Blue) team?? Goalie and Coaches daughter who fits in on A, but who else? The MS crew?? maybe 1 or 2 from the MS crew make the Blue team, so you are talking 3 field players and a goalie...... that's not grounds for saying 91 is taking over YJ's top team. Think of a better excuse for your kid being placed on the B or C team at YJ. 91 excuse is not valid

They will drop girls to B and make a 3rd team of most of the B team. Its ridiculous. It certainly is the demise of the program in this age group. Watch at tryouts. Teams are already determined. You will know where your daughter stands immediately with whom she is playing with. Also watch the coaches. They don't pay attention at all. Thats how you know the teams are already made with under the table deals. And there you have it. Its all who you know. Good luck!

JOKE What a waste of a post, by your standards there are zero good coaches out there. Please tell us the club your kid plays for and I can give you the same list of nonsense for them.

91 excuse is not valid There are definite rumors that it is more than 10. Good luck! Absolutely correct! It’s a shame for the B team. The majority of those girls have been loyal, while the team continues to disintegrate. The smart ones left. The others stay, not sure why. They will not be moved for the most part, and if they do they ride pine. (This is an observation not an opinion) This year it is going to be a complete mess. 😫 The main problem is the best girls in the age group play for different organizations, so they are picking the best of the worst.

2023 LI lax clubs seem all fired up, predicting the certain failure of the YJ club. Would like to put YJ into context for some of you. The first HS graduating class was a 2001 team, this year I believe they are starting teams for 2027. That's 26 years of Blue teams. Nowadays these teams play out for 8-9 years, used to be less. Also some of the younger teams only have a few of those years under their belts. If you look at the top YJ teams only you end up with in the neighborhood of 200 summer seasons played. There were two seasons where TG 2020 team seemed about as good as the YJ team, a couple years now where 2023 Igloo and TopGuns seem to have an edge. 2016 TG was close and a couple years were Liberty had some teams in the conversation. So to put this into sobering context for you, out of 200 Blue team seasons played, you can point to 5-6 that they weren't considered the best team on LI. Go back to the BOTC threads from the beginning like ten years ago. Same exact predictions of the impending end for YJ. Some things never change.

There is NO RUMOR of 10 girls coming from 91 "taking" B players spots. That is your rumor, your fake news. The previous post is more accurate that perhaps the 91 goalie, new coaches daughter and potentially others if they can play! Also...ALL "tryouts" have a Significant level of predetermination (including JV & Varsity & Team USA) as it is a players body of work over a season or two or three that has already given everyone (coaches & parents) a clear indication of what the player can truly do in all situations. To think that what a player does for a hour Should give them the "chance" to make the A team for any club is absurd! Anyone can look good or bad for that fleeting moment. It's either truly nieve or faux nievity to clammer for a FAIR tryout so the true, loyal B player can have that shot. The better players will find their way to the top team for any club, it just might take a little more time to be seen.

The best girls in 7th grade now will not be the best girls in 11th grade. Some of the best girls will be starting to play this year. Coaches take strong, fast, and tall girls and spend the time to develop stick skills. A tiny 7th grader with great stick skills will no longer get to goal. I don't care how many privates she did or clinics she went to. Goalies catch up, defenses get better, and speed and size will rule in the years to come. It doesn't matter what team wins in 7th grade. If you could predict how these girls will grow and develop, then recruiting rules would have stayed the same forever.

YJ lost to both TG and Igloo by a goal at NATIONALS. Against TG they lost by one goal after a 7 minute stall ( post stick check by the referee ) and Igloo on a goal in the last 10 seconds .That's a fact. Igloo beat them pretty good the second game. Yj was playing with 1 midfield line and ran out of gas and they took full advantage as any good team would. TG is not the best team on LI at that age group. Right now it's Igloo. They proved that in Richmond .

TG has a winning record against Igloo 3-1. And the one loss was on a last second goal.

Nice try though!

Silly post. How many travel clubs existed in 2001 ? YJ and Liberty. The landscape has changed and there are many new clubs taking talent that would have ended up YJ diluting the younger YJ teams. YJ used to have 3 strong teams per age group. Now they have one. The 2023 Gold is lucky to be in the top 8 teams on LI in the age group.

Your Magic 8 ball tells you the best 7th grade girls won't be the best in 11th grade. Nobody can predict the future on how girls will grow and develop other than you based on your first sentence. The best players haven't started playing yet? Completely false that used to happen not anymore lets see where all these new stars land at tryouts. Size and speed will rule? How about other intangibles like lax IQ, heart, hustle, work ethic I guess that doesn't matter. And if size and speed will rule in the years to come why don't they rule now?

Thats exactly why its foolish to say 91 girls should be on the A team with out a tryout. As you said "Anyone can look good or bad for that fleeting moment. " thats why its a joke that the 91 girls go right to A. All politics. 91 buys YJ in a hush hush deal. Unfortunately people cant keep their mouths shut and the cat is now out of the bag.
